  • Amazing stay

"The house is spacious and airy, clean and comfortable. And the view can't be beat, especially from the beautiful pool. We could sit in the pool and watch for birds and whales (saw plenty of both, and also some sea life like manta rays and a barracuda!). The staff who clean and maintain the house are great and were very helpful. The downstairs bedroom is a little smaller (smaller bed and room), but has a nice private feel. It is a long walk into town, but doable if you don't mind walking on rough cobblestone and a little dust. San Pancho is a charming sleepy village, with just enough restaurants and other amenities. We bought huge prawns directly from the fishermen who caught them. We much preferred San Pancho to Sayulita. If you drive, get a 4-wheel drive!"

  • No words to describe it!

"I feel as though the photos do not do this place justice. It's simply gorgeous. The view, the villa, the jungle surroundings - all fantastic. The beach is shared with only two other casitas/villas so it truly is private. I arrived about a week and a half before Christmas and the area was still very quiet. At the tail end of my trip now (I leave tomorrow), more people are starting to arrive and the activity is picking up a bit for high season. You should be warned that if you want to walk to town, it's about a 30-45 min walk. I had a car rental and it wasn't an issue. But it is outside the San Pancho city core. Again, I prefer something off the beaten path, and this is it. The garden and landspacing is fantastic...the gardener came by a few times while I was here as did the cleaning lady. To conserve on water, the cleaning lady doesn't come by daily, which I highly prefer. The entrances are secured to add to the security/privacy. The villa is built into the hillside, so it's a pretty hefty climb to/from the beach. Good workout, but don't expect to just fall out of bed onto the beach. Honestly, other than a few dips, I spent most of my time on the deck drinking coffee and reading, listening to the crashing waves and unwinding. Oh and saying "hi" to the whales and dolphins, of course. The outdoor shower is great. I hadn't really used one before, but now I am a big fan. Abigail, the house manager, and Eleanor the owner were great to deal with as well."

  • ABSOLUTE HEAVEN!!!!!

"I have been to a lot of beautiful, relaxing, stunning places. Not only is the town quaint, relaxing and beautiful, but the property of this compound is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Like a total "peace" of Heaven! This is a place you want to go when you want to escape reality. The top house has an infinity pool that you could lay in and stare at the ocean for hours upon hours, the middle house is a total hidden gem, and the bathroom in there is the craziest bathroom I have ever seen. Very well designed! And the bottom houses are magnificent. They have the perfect pool to lounge in all day, with the help of Pilar, she will cook you any meal of the day, and the food is MMmmmmMMMmm GOOD!! I couldn't recommend this place enough, seriously! You will not regret this booking!"

"This is our 2nd time visiting San Pancho and staying at Villa Roca. The home is gorgeous and quite top-end. It is clean and functional and certainly the nicest place we have stayed--and we do VRBO all over! The staff is terrific and exceptionally accommodating. We will certainly return!"
