  • Over and Beyond Our Expectations

"We have used VRBO properties all over Mexico and the US and found the jewel of them all! Casa Mariposa was the best value, beautifully appointed with comfort and luscious grounds than any place we've ever stayed. Our two week stay included cooking for ourselves, dining, reading and playing Scrabble in the outdoor covered patio and used the pool each day for cooling off. The walk to the beach brought us straight through town on Main Street each day to stop by a local restaurant for dinner after watching the exquisite San Pancho sunset nightly. We can't say enough about the beauty of this amazing casa and do intend be back sooner than later. San Pancho is by far our favorite town of all of Mexico!"

  • Beautiful home near beach & restaurants

"My wife and I stayed a week as guests of Drew and Sheri in their beautiful, modern home, backing on green space, quiet street just off the main street. The restaurant culture in this little town has to be experienced to be believed. Locals gather for drinks at the beach at sunset to plan the evening, with a different musical event every night, and a dozen great restaurants to choose from. Casa Flores has a beautiful patio and swimming pool that catches the morning sun, and their beautiful home is perfect for one or two couples seeking a romantic retreat."

"I have been to a lot of beautiful, relaxing, stunning places. Not only is the town quaint, relaxing and beautiful, but the property of this compound is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Like a total "peace" of Heaven! This is a place you want to go when you want to escape reality. The top house has an infinity pool that you could lay in and stare at the ocean for hours upon hours, the middle house is a total hidden gem, and the bathroom in there is the craziest bathroom I have ever seen. Very well designed! And the bottom houses are magnificent. They have the perfect pool to lounge in all day, with the help of Pilar, she will cook you any meal of the day, and the food is MMmmmmMMMmm GOOD!! I couldn't recommend this place enough, seriously! You will not regret this booking!"

  • Spacious beautiful home(s) with easy access to the beach

"We stayed here with our extended family (4 sets of adults, 2 sets of kids) for 4 days prior to attending a family wedding in Puerto Vallarta. The house is impeccability laid out for multi-family living, but also with a high level of privacy for individual bedrooms/casitas: credit to the architect for that vision. The swimming pool is magnificent and was the primary focus for all the kids (and parents) in our entourage. There are pool toys in the storage room next to the pool. The home is set far back on a remote road - it helps to have a 4WD - although we navigated it (bumpily) using a 2WD VW Jetta. No big deal. The decor, artwork, furnishings are fantastic, and the large, spacious kitchen had everything we needed for cooking for our large group. The entertainment system was helpful to keep the kids occupied (there were some DVDs in the home) in the evenings while the adults ate and relaxed on the balconies. You can tell that the owners take great pride in their home. The house manager was a great local resource for San Pancho and helped out with organizing fishing trips, etc. The house staff were very unobtrusive but very helpful when we needed taxis for trips or assistance of any kind. The home is about a 20 minute walk from the pueblo of San Pancho which can be a long time in the hottest (middle) part of day, especially with kids (hint: get your kids to take siestas!). The owners are very up front about this (and everything else about life here) in their Help Documents which are comprehensive and easy to read. The pathway through the jungle to the beach is a fun adventure for the kids. It is pretty steep, but manageable. The San Pancho beach is no joke - strong waves and currents - so we tended to stay around the pool, although we did venture down to the ocean for shell hunting, sand castle making, etc. This was our second trip to San Pancho, but the first bringing our (older) extended family with us. I am very glad we chose this property, as it was really a home-away-from-home for those in our party whose comfort zone was more US-centric and who were slightly apprehensive about visiting Mexico. For the rest of us who love everything about Mexico we were happy to see how the owners have incorporated local art and architecture into their home. Highly recommended to everyone. Thank you!"
