  • Ten days in paradise with amazing hosts!

"A group of six of us spent ten days at Casa de la Colina in December, 2014. Firstly, we love Sayulita. It was at least a second trip there for most of our party and we will all go back again. It is a beautiful, magic, little town with a great atmosphere and fantastic food and bars. Casa de la Colina is an absolutely gorgeous house. We rented the main floor and had the rooftop palapa included. It was more than enough space for six people and all the bedrooms, including the rooftop palapa bed, were comfortable and lovely rooms. The rooftop itself is a phenomenal space, on which we spent most of our time. The pool is great for a soak also. Doug and Ruby were incredible hosts. They were there for everything we needed in the house and are very knowledgeable on restaurants, bars, nightlife, culture and activities in the area. Whether you are traveling with friends or family, this is an amazing house."

  • Nice house, good value, in great location!

"We stayed 10 nights in December-January. The house is very charming and well built. It is the perfect size for a family of 4- it is not a mega mansion, just a cute casita with everything you need. The street is quiet, but sometimes we heard noisy neighbors, but that could be the case anywhere in town. Nice decor, nice patio with dining table. Kitchen is small and simple, yet adequately stocked including a supply of 5 gallon jugs of treated water that were delivered periodically. Very nice property managers- husband, wife and daughter who were responsive, helpful and speak English. There is A/C in the bedrooms, but we did not need to use it. We were a short walk to town and the beach. Only downside is the water pressure is poor in the bathrooms, and the living room furniture was a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully, we will be back - would definitely recommend!"

  • Amazing Views - Comfortable and Relaxing Home

"Casa Amorcita is a wonderful place to spend a vacation. Our family of four (two adults and two boys (ages 7 and 3)) spent an amazing 12 days here. The views from every level of the house are wonderful and the rooftop palapa is wonderfully relaxing. The house is perfectly situated on a ridge overlooking Sayulita. It’s an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and multiple beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Amorcita and would welcome the opportunity to stay here again."

  • honeymoon paradise

"My newly minted husband and I stayed here after our San Francisco wedding this fall. It could not have been more relaxing and lovely after the frenzy of wedding planning. We let the property manager arrange an airport pickup for us and a golf cart to be ready for our arrival. We have decided that we really only want to travel via golf cart from now on, as we felt like a million bucks cruising around town. (we also got NO exercise on this trip, haha) The house was great, a lot of nice details, we especially enjoyed the air conditioned, bug free sleeping area (ESSENTIAL). I cannot believe how affordable our vacation ended up being. I thought I would want to cook but instead we just ate fish tacos and drank beers in town for basically every meal. I don't know if we ever spent more than about $30USD in one of our lavish outings. Tacos are $2 and that's all you really need. Highly recommended. We can't wait to come back. The house is excellent, the little pool is excellent, the outdoor shower is excellent. There were some exciting bugs and lizards and stuff but that's par for the course in a tropical area. A gecko did poop on my husband from the ceiling while we were watching a movie on his laptop. That was a highlight."
