  • Great place to stay

"Great accommondations and maintenance. Location was excellent, only bout 2 blocks to center of town and very short work to reach the beach. Beautiful view."

  • Beautiful, quiet, comfortable

"We loved staying here. It is in a perfect location - close to town and the main beach, but also very quiet. The garden in the backyard is beautiful, peaceful, and a great way to spend the morning. Tons of birds and iguanas go back and forth. The kitchen has everything you need. The outdoor shower is lovely. Plenty of hot water to go around. The only thing I would add is don't count on the two couches for two extra twin beds unless you're putting children in them. The L shaped red and blue couch in the picture is what they are referring to. Also - the hammock was broken when we were there, but we got another one for pretty cheap in town."

  • lovely house and incredible views. Internet is very, very iffy though

"The views from this house are amazing. Having the use of the golf cart completely negates the distance from town so you really have the best of both worlds. The kitchen is well stocked and amazing with the plethora of glasses and cups. Tip: We spent 4 days not realizing we had a key to the laundry room (as the door is kept locked). You should have a key and as such access to the washer/dryer and the guest bathroom. We had been running out the to pool for that bathroom rather than use the master's. The pool was sparkling clean and such a source of delight for all of us. Another tip: If the casita is lacking a mosquito net, ask the property manager to arrange one. We spent 2 nights getting bit up before deciding to ask for a net. Lastly, if you are planning a working vacation and depend on internet, seriously look elsewhere. I ASSumed that since Internet was advertised it would actually work and it did work for 2 days. I then had to call multiple times a day since apparently the internet for this house comes from a restaurant down the hill. Very Very iffy service. The lack of reliable internet really ruined my vacation since I had to work while the rest of the family played. :) Tip: the bookstore has reliable internet and there is a business in town which offers reliable internet to the other houses in this neighborhood and also provides an office for you to work out of. I really hope the owners either change their listing to reflect the poor state of the internet they "offer" or contract with http://sayulitawifi.com/ to provide reliable internet service. I know, vacation you should vacation, but unfortunately I could not. :) we had a very wide range of ages, from 85 to 50, and everyone had a lovely time."

  • Great private villa

"We stayed at Casa Papa as the last stop on our tour of Riviera Nayarit. It was an amazing retreat with the perfect amount of privacy. We spent alot of time in the pool cooling off enjoying the open floor plan of the first level. We had music on the speakers the whole time. I loved that the living spaces on the first floor were so communal while the 2nd and 3rd floors provided so much privacy. Both bedrooms on the 2nd floor have their own bathroom with gorgeous fixtures and they share a balcony overlooking the pool. The 3rd floor is entirely private and open to the ocean breeze. Each room also has an essential ceiling fan. There are plenty of towels and bed linens as well as an essential washer/dryer. It is located at the end of a road that is a six minute walk to town. The caretakers, Teresa & Jose, were a few houses down and ready to answer our every question (in Spanish). We will definitely stay here again next time in Sayulita!"
