Casa Azul and Sayulita exceeded our expectations!
"Our stay at Casa Azul was great from start to finish! The home was clean, comfortable, and well maintained and appeared exactly as described in the VRBO listing. The housekeeper, Sarah, was friendly, accommodating (she did a couple of loads of wash for us) and unobtrusive. Sarah and her daughter Esther even prepared a fantastic meal (including Passionfruit Margaritas) for us one evening.
We did not have a car or golf cart and did not need one! Everything in town was easily accessible on foot and the beach was an easy block and a half down the road.
While in Sayulita, a few from our group enjoyed a day riding ATV's and zip-lining with Rancho Mi Chaparrita (www.michaparrita.com).
We really enjoyed the tacos at El Itacate, pizza and pasta at Pizza Venezia, and many of the entrees at Tropical House.
We also had a wonderful meal at Haramara Yoga Retreat to celebrate a birthday (beware, they charged our cc more than we signed for, but when we brought it to their attention the next day, they came to Casa Azul and refunded the overcharge in dollars).
Casa Azul's owner was very responsive to questions I had leading up to the trip and refunded my security deposit within days of my return home. All in all, our stay at Casa Azul in Sayulita was great and I would recomend it to family and friends!"

"We loved our 2 weeks at Casa Azueljos! It has a great sense of place - you really feel like you are in Mexico. The owner has decorated it so beautifully with great attention to detail. It is close to town and the beach, but it is tucked away so it is completely private. You feel like you are in the jungle surrounded by vegetation, birds, butterflies and the occasional iguana. We seemed to spend most of our time just hanging out on the patio - so pleasant and so very relaxing. It had everything we needed - including excellent WiFi and really good beds. We are looking forward to returning to this very special casita."

"We (8 adults) stayed at this location in June, for a destination wedding in Sayulita. We were blown away by how helpful the property manager, Mitch, was and how private the house felt. We were only a few minutes walk away from the beach and the center of town, making this spot an ideal location. FYI: the fourth "bedroom" in the main house is up on the "palapa" or the terrace on the 3rd floor. There was a bug net to keep the bugs out, but keep in mind that there is no A/C up there and that the wildlife and A/C fan from downstairs can be a bit loud. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind if everyone wants their own private space and you don't rent the casita. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend this property to others!"

"The name is spot on, the view is fantastic! The house is very well designed, comfortable and well furnished. We had 8 people four adults and 4 kids, and it was nice to have so many places to hang out. The house has many seating areas for people to enjoy the view, read a book, or bask in the sun. As any house with a great view its up the hill, which means traveling the beat up roads of Sayulita. The drive up to the house is shocking to most, but by the end of the trip it's all part of the adventure. We could not have found a better house, Jack was great and the housekeeper & manager were very friendly. The kids love the 6 foot deep pool!!!! The hot tube was a real treat. Please don't stay here, you might book it when I want to go back with my family and we would never find a better house in Sayulita..."
