"My newly minted husband and I stayed here after our San Francisco wedding this fall. It could not have been more relaxing and lovely after the frenzy of wedding planning. We let the property manager arrange an airport pickup for us and a golf cart to be ready for our arrival. We have decided that we really only want to travel via golf cart from now on, as we felt like a million bucks cruising around town. (we also got NO exercise on this trip, haha) The house was great, a lot of nice details, we especially enjoyed the air conditioned, bug free sleeping area (ESSENTIAL). I cannot believe how affordable our vacation ended up being. I thought I would want to cook but instead we just ate fish tacos and drank beers in town for basically every meal. I don't know if we ever spent more than about $30USD in one of our lavish outings. Tacos are $2 and that's all you really need. Highly recommended. We can't wait to come back. The house is excellent, the little pool is excellent, the outdoor shower is excellent. There were some exciting bugs and lizards and stuff but that's par for the course in a tropical area. A gecko did poop on my husband from the ceiling while we were watching a movie on his laptop. That was a highlight."

As other reviewers have written, the photos on this site (though lovely) do not do these villas justice. We knew when we first walked in the door that we made the right choice for our first visit.
Opening the doors to the huge terrace brings the beauty of Sayulita bay into your living room. We had many meals on the terrace, spotted whales, and watched beautiful sunsets. The grill was great to have. We grilled fresh fish that we bought at the fishing boats (about 5 minutes away), a great place that was recommended by the manager Jari who gave us lots of other helpful information.
North Sayulita Beach is beautiful, as are the other beaches along the mile and a half beach path. Good snorkeling at the beach below the Villas
We had a nice breakfast at El Espresso in the plaza We also rented our snorkel gear at the Shops from the Dive Shop.
The location and view from the Villas are wonderful and the furnishings are combination Mexican and beach and were all absolutely first class. The linens, towels, pillows EVERYTHING was off the chart. ... they really thought this place through because for us, everything is in the details. Kitchen inside Casa Azul is about as good as it gets in any Million dollar home.
I highly recommend staying here if you are in Sayulita. The staff at the Villas is very helpful and all of our interactions with the property manager were great.
This was a dream vacation for our family!
Adios and see you next year!"

"This was our second time staying at Casa Contigo. As always, the house is amazing. Breathe taking views, comfortable beds, every details is taken care of. We really appreciated the water filter, not having to worry about drinking water adds to the relaxation. The town is great, good food and plenty of activities but we found the house so comfortable we spent most days lounging by the pool. Can't wait until we can make it back again!"

"We had a fantastic week with our friends here. Everything about our stay was easy, comfortable and so very delightful! It was HOT for our stay, but the house and pool were sooo cool! The attention to detail is seen in the management, the design and pure hospitality of what we experienced here.
The location is quiet, a bit away from town, but a short walk to the beautiful beaches and warm ocean. We had a car and drove to different surf spots. It was handy to have for our activities (and the air conditioning)! The town is simple, colorful and so welcoming. We found fantastic food everywhere we dined.
The private areas of the house are colorful and so creatively arranged. The beds were perfect for us and each room had a safe and everything you needed to feel secure and pampered. The public areas had so many perfectly arranged intimate gathering spots! There is a great information book with suggestions, we found it helpful. Julie and Doug really created a fantastic oasis.
We hope you get a chance to experience Ventana al Mar, it's everything we could imagine it to be and more!"
