  • Wonderful house and well taken care of

"This was a wonderful house to stay in. Extremely well taken care of, very nice beds and furniture and a wonderful place to relax. The top floor is incredible -- great place to lounge, drink a beer, and enjoy the hillside view. The housekeeper and gardener came every day to take care of the place and kept it in great shape. Also, it was a short fairly flat walk to town - we rarely used our car while there. One thing to note if you have small kids that need checking in on at night --the walkways between the bedrooms are all outdoors (as well as the stairway). We have a baby and a toddler so going between bedrooms involved going outside and unlocking the other bedroom door."

  • great spring break great home and location

"My family ( wife and 14 year old son) just got back from a great vacation in Sayulita at El Templito. The house was perfect for us , great location on quiet north side of town but easy access by beach walk or we rented a golf cart. House was nicely decorated, clean with all the amenities needed. Very relaxing, breakfast in morning with coffee on the beach. We surfed everyday in Sayulita or Punta Mita , body surfed in front of the house. They also had lots of great restaurants from Mexican, Seafood, Smoothies, Pizza.. Awesome realxing vacation and well taken care of by Andrea and staff! Thanks we will be back!"

  • lovely house and incredible views. Internet is very, very iffy though

"The views from this house are amazing. Having the use of the golf cart completely negates the distance from town so you really have the best of both worlds. The kitchen is well stocked and amazing with the plethora of glasses and cups. Tip: We spent 4 days not realizing we had a key to the laundry room (as the door is kept locked). You should have a key and as such access to the washer/dryer and the guest bathroom. We had been running out the to pool for that bathroom rather than use the master's. The pool was sparkling clean and such a source of delight for all of us. Another tip: If the casita is lacking a mosquito net, ask the property manager to arrange one. We spent 2 nights getting bit up before deciding to ask for a net. Lastly, if you are planning a working vacation and depend on internet, seriously look elsewhere. I ASSumed that since Internet was advertised it would actually work and it did work for 2 days. I then had to call multiple times a day since apparently the internet for this house comes from a restaurant down the hill. Very Very iffy service. The lack of reliable internet really ruined my vacation since I had to work while the rest of the family played. :) Tip: the bookstore has reliable internet and there is a business in town which offers reliable internet to the other houses in this neighborhood and also provides an office for you to work out of. I really hope the owners either change their listing to reflect the poor state of the internet they "offer" or contract with to provide reliable internet service. I know, vacation you should vacation, but unfortunately I could not. :) we had a very wide range of ages, from 85 to 50, and everyone had a lovely time."

  • Amazing Getaway!!

"This was our first visit to Sayulita and to this property. It is a lovely, older home with charm and character. The views are amazing and the pools are beautifully kept. The location in relation to the town and beach is perfect, although your legs will get a good workout coming up the short hill! We especially enjoyed the terrace overlooking the town and ocean - a perfect place to relax and enjoy a cold margarita!! We stayed in the lower suite and it was great. Even during what was a busy holiday week in Sayulita (Easter), the villa provided a wonderful, peaceful escape. We will definitely be back!"
