  • Paradise Found in Sayulita

"We had an absolute blast in Casa Rana Verde. It's a very cool property, with 4 separate casas (3 bedrooms, 1 kitchen). We went with two other families and having our own separate casa allowed for some quiet down time with our family. The views are spectacular, the pool and landscaping is so lush and green. It truly is a tropical oasis. And the town of Sayulita can not be beat. I can't wait to go back! Thank you Barry for all of your communication before, during and after our stay. Muchos gracias!"

"My newly minted husband and I stayed here after our San Francisco wedding this fall. It could not have been more relaxing and lovely after the frenzy of wedding planning. We let the property manager arrange an airport pickup for us and a golf cart to be ready for our arrival. We have decided that we really only want to travel via golf cart from now on, as we felt like a million bucks cruising around town. (we also got NO exercise on this trip, haha) The house was great, a lot of nice details, we especially enjoyed the air conditioned, bug free sleeping area (ESSENTIAL). I cannot believe how affordable our vacation ended up being. I thought I would want to cook but instead we just ate fish tacos and drank beers in town for basically every meal. I don't know if we ever spent more than about $30USD in one of our lavish outings. Tacos are $2 and that's all you really need. Highly recommended. We can't wait to come back. The house is excellent, the little pool is excellent, the outdoor shower is excellent. There were some exciting bugs and lizards and stuff but that's par for the course in a tropical area. A gecko did poop on my husband from the ceiling while we were watching a movie on his laptop. That was a highlight."

  • Possibly the best vacation, ever.

"Case Amarilla was the perfect place to stay on Sayulita. It was far enough away from town to be very quiet but close enough to not mind the walk to the beach and then back into town for dinner. The house itself was very nice - the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, the showers were lovely. The best part of the house, by far, was the roof-top deck - it was a great place to rest after a long day in the sun, both at the beach and at the pool. Sayulita itself was great. Lots of delicious places to eat, all very inexpensive. We rented chairs on the beach every day, had lunch either on the beach or tacos on the way back to the house. There were fun places to shop for unique souvenirs. And you can't beat the exchange rate right now - most places gave 14-15 pesos per U.S. dollar. In all, you really can't beat Casa Amarilla for a relaxing, stress-free vacation in Sayulita. We will certainly be coming back."

  • Casa Azul and Sayulita exceeded our expectations!

"Our stay at Casa Azul was great from start to finish! The home was clean, comfortable, and well maintained and appeared exactly as described in the VRBO listing. The housekeeper, Sarah, was friendly, accommodating (she did a couple of loads of wash for us) and unobtrusive. Sarah and her daughter Esther even prepared a fantastic meal (including Passionfruit Margaritas) for us one evening. We did not have a car or golf cart and did not need one! Everything in town was easily accessible on foot and the beach was an easy block and a half down the road. While in Sayulita, a few from our group enjoyed a day riding ATV's and zip-lining with Rancho Mi Chaparrita (www.michaparrita.com). We really enjoyed the tacos at El Itacate, pizza and pasta at Pizza Venezia, and many of the entrees at Tropical House. We also had a wonderful meal at Haramara Yoga Retreat to celebrate a birthday (beware, they charged our cc more than we signed for, but when we brought it to their attention the next day, they came to Casa Azul and refunded the overcharge in dollars). Casa Azul's owner was very responsive to questions I had leading up to the trip and refunded my security deposit within days of my return home. All in all, our stay at Casa Azul in Sayulita was great and I would recomend it to family and friends!"
