  • Fabulous girlfriend getaway!

"Four of us stayed here for a lovely week. Casa Mango had everything we needed! Michele is a thoughtful host providing great recommendations for classes and restaurants etc. Be sure to try the Mexi-fit class and eat at Antonia's restaurant! The property is very well maintained with beautiful plants and friendly staff. We loved being able to walk to town through a gorgeous neighborhood that felt safe. I highly recommend this rental."

  • Awesome house in the perfect location.

"I came down with some friends to attend a wedding and the house was perfect. It is close enough to the center of town (just a few short blocks) for direct access to all that Sayulita has to offer but on the North side of the bridge so you don't have to deal with dust and noise. It is a traditional styled house that makes you feel like you are truly part of the local scene not some American hotel airlifted to a beach. The roof deck is great for the morning coffee and enjoying the evening breezes."

  • Extreme Luxury in Sayulita ~~~!

"We had a fantastic week with our friends here. Everything about our stay was easy, comfortable and so very delightful! It was HOT for our stay, but the house and pool were sooo cool! The attention to detail is seen in the management, the design and pure hospitality of what we experienced here. The location is quiet, a bit away from town, but a short walk to the beautiful beaches and warm ocean. We had a car and drove to different surf spots. It was handy to have for our activities (and the air conditioning)! The town is simple, colorful and so welcoming. We found fantastic food everywhere we dined. The private areas of the house are colorful and so creatively arranged. The beds were perfect for us and each room had a safe and everything you needed to feel secure and pampered. The public areas had so many perfectly arranged intimate gathering spots! There is a great information book with suggestions, we found it helpful. Julie and Doug really created a fantastic oasis. We hope you get a chance to experience Ventana al Mar, it's everything we could imagine it to be and more!"

  • Close in . . . a world away

"Our family of four stayed three nights in the upper level. We walked from the bus stop and found the place easily. It was a pleasure to step into this respite amidst a lively pueblo! This lovely casa - perfect for three with a king and twin - was very comfortable with fans and AC if needed. Our daughter fit just fine in the king so the place did fine for four of us. The rooftop terrace (a surprise to us!) was our favorite spot to watch the sunrise and enjoy the view of the bay. The kitchen is simple but had what we needed for morning coffee, smoothies, and a couple of breakfasts. The water pump was acting up but was fixed right away. Pros: artistic touch, lovely wood shutters, shared washer/dryer, beach umbrella (a must!), comfy bed, maid service, lovely stone/tile work, private interior courtyard with trickling water feature, roof deck, close to beach (3 blocks), oh, and people watching from the balconies. Cons: electric hot plate not the greatest for cooking, close to plaza noise during Holy Week (rock band, etc.), neighbors (a drummer and keyboardist practiced repetitive LOUD rock beat for two hours just before dinner for two of our nights - hopefully not regular residents.) We really enjoyed our first visit to Sayulita but would NOTrecommend visiting during Semana Santa/Holy Week. The town bursts at its seams -- crowds from Guadalajara and points interior flocking to the beach for "Mexican spring break." We recommend seeking out the smaller beaches described on We also HIGHLY recommend the Alley Cat tour to the Marietas - a highlight of our trip. We rented a boogie board for the week (under $40) and enjoyed the bay most in the morning hours. Thanks, Adrienne and John, for such a lovely spot. It was a nice treat to cross paths (now if you can talk to that neighbor . . . )"
