  • Family gathering

"We visited Villa Colina with my three children, son in law and baby. It was a perfect setting for relaxation, convenience and comfort. We were close to the beach and town but still with privacy. The amenities were great. I would highly recommend as a vacation spot."

  • Perfect spot, Epic Villas

"Perfect! As other reviewers have written, the photos on this site (though lovely) do not do these villas justice. We knew when we first walked in the door that we made the right choice for our first visit. Opening the doors to the huge terrace brings the beauty of Sayulita bay into your living room. We had many meals on the terrace, spotted whales, and watched beautiful sunsets. The grill was great to have. We grilled fresh fish that we bought at the fishing boats (about 5 minutes away), a great place that was recommended by the manager Jari who gave us lots of other helpful information. North Sayulita Beach is beautiful, as are the other beaches along the mile and a half beach path. Good snorkeling at the beach below the Villas We had a nice breakfast at El Espresso in the plaza We also rented our snorkel gear at the Shops from the Dive Shop. The location and view from the Villas are wonderful and the furnishings are combination Mexican and beach and were all absolutely first class. The linens, towels, pillows EVERYTHING was off the chart. ... they really thought this place through because for us, everything is in the details. Kitchen inside Casa Azul is about as good as it gets in any Million dollar home. I highly recommend staying here if you are in Sayulita. The staff at the Villas is very helpful and all of our interactions with the property manager were great. This was a dream vacation for our family! Adios and see you next year!"

  • Would go again...

"Great property, great owners, the description online doesn't do it justice. the location was perfect, close but not too close to beach and town... A five min walk to either at most. Each suite has its own bathroom. The property is well designed and maintained. Comparable to luxury hotels at punta mita. This worked perfectly for two large families, but can be suited for just one."

  • lovely house and incredible views. Internet is very, very iffy though

"The views from this house are amazing. Having the use of the golf cart completely negates the distance from town so you really have the best of both worlds. The kitchen is well stocked and amazing with the plethora of glasses and cups. Tip: We spent 4 days not realizing we had a key to the laundry room (as the door is kept locked). You should have a key and as such access to the washer/dryer and the guest bathroom. We had been running out the to pool for that bathroom rather than use the master's. The pool was sparkling clean and such a source of delight for all of us. Another tip: If the casita is lacking a mosquito net, ask the property manager to arrange one. We spent 2 nights getting bit up before deciding to ask for a net. Lastly, if you are planning a working vacation and depend on internet, seriously look elsewhere. I ASSumed that since Internet was advertised it would actually work and it did work for 2 days. I then had to call multiple times a day since apparently the internet for this house comes from a restaurant down the hill. Very Very iffy service. The lack of reliable internet really ruined my vacation since I had to work while the rest of the family played. :) Tip: the bookstore has reliable internet and there is a business in town which offers reliable internet to the other houses in this neighborhood and also provides an office for you to work out of. I really hope the owners either change their listing to reflect the poor state of the internet they "offer" or contract with http://sayulitawifi.com/ to provide reliable internet service. I know, vacation you should vacation, but unfortunately I could not. :) we had a very wide range of ages, from 85 to 50, and everyone had a lovely time."
