"If you are wanting a reasonably priced comfortable suite with a fantastic host look no further. Lyn has done a fantastic job of giving you an enjoyable experience. The roof top deck is a treasure with a BBQ and fabulous views and a place to lounge if you want to stay put and have a beer or margarita. Sayulita is a town full of life, lots of music, good bars and restaurants, great coffee and fabulous beaches. Lots of vendors on the beach so don't need to take food, you can buy cooked shrimp on a stick, candy, chips, donuts, empanadas and the list goes on. Thirsty? Buy a beer on the beach from the many beach restaurants and dont forget the awesome guacamole."Guest: Jannie Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 6, 2014View listing
"This is by far our favorite family vacation. We started coming when our youngest son was in grade school, and we just stayed this February during his senior year of high school. The space in this home is perfect! We love the open air feel, the easy access and views of the beach, listening to the surf roll in while sleeping at night (or napping during the day). We love Sayulita's various restaurants and the beach is awesome! We will be returning here for years to come!!"Guest: Jill Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: February 26, 2014View listing
"Our family of 4 (mom, dad, a 12 and 13 year old boy) stayed here over the Christmas week and are ready to head into the new year rested and relaxed. The house is exactly as represented; small, quaint, restful. We made breakfasts at home (everything we needed was easily accessible in town) but left lunches and dinners to the wonderful eateries of Sayulita. We did enjoy happy hour on the roof almost every day: nothing like sipping a couple of beverages while watching the butterflies, hummingbirds, and the neighborhood kids playing ball in the street. Thank goodness for the walk into and out of town or we would have gained 10 lbs each! We could not get over how great the food was at every place we tried. It was easy to arrange all the activities we wanted; snorkeling, surf lessons (and subsequent board rentals) and deep sea fishing and each activity was better than the next. My boys trotted our their middle school Spanish at the markets helped along by all of the wonderful natives. We are not all-inclusive people but rather prefer a view into how others live while still having fun. We got exactly what we wanted. We felt very safe and welcomed at the house and in Sayulita the whole time. And those memories will get us through the cold NJ winter!"Guest: beth m. "My husband and I wanted somewhere tropical, beautiful and private to celebrate our 25th anniversary; we could not have found a more ideal spot. After scouring the internet for a new romantic destination, we found Riveria Nayarit and Sayulita. VRBO helped us find Casa Carrictos. First thing - the pictures don't lie. The estate is absoulutely beautiful. Adele and Michael have created a magical place thaf allowed my husband and I a much neeeded place to reconnect and celebrate our special day. The palapa is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen has evertything you need to create wonderful meals. The blender got work out every day! We had a personal chef from Sabor Con Magia come in on our anniversary. He created a fantastic meal at sunset. Casa Carrictos provided the perfect setting. The beaches nearby are beautiful and Sayulita was fun. Everyone we met was so friendly. After having a very stressfull year at work, Casa Carricitos provided us a beautiful place for us to relax and enjoy each other - where the only distraction was the beauty surrounding you. We loved the infinity pool thag overlooked the Pacific. Evenings in the palapa watching the beautiful sunsets. Playing cards, dominos, swimming in the moonlight - spending much needed time together. The house is not far from the beaches ( easy drive or short hike). Due to it being the rainy season - we rented a jeep to get around and explore. I would highly recommend - it allow you to explore the area. We used Gecko car rental - highly recommemd. We loved Captain Pablos on the beach - great place to have a beer and enjoy the surfers. The food was execellent too. Ally Cat sailing provided a fun and exciting day on the water - when we come back we will be enjoying that snorkeling and sailing adventure again. The crew was so much fun, the drinks plentiful and the food very, very good. It was the best catamaran sail we have ever been on. My husband said it was the funnest day on the water he has ever had - high praise for a man that owns his own boat. Most of all, we loved the house. It is hard to find the words to describe how beautiful and peacefull it was. Sitting by candlelight, listening to the waves hit the beach below. Waking up to those same sounds. Open air bathrooms - witn incredible views and butterflies flying in an out - what more romantic place can anyone ever look for? Thank you Adele and Michael for sharing your slice of heaven witn us! We will be back."Guest: Sue2978 Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 15, 2014View listing
