Possibly the best vacation, ever.
"Case Amarilla was the perfect place to stay on Sayulita. It was far enough away from town to be very quiet but close enough to not mind the walk to the beach and then back into town for dinner. The house itself was very nice - the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, the showers were lovely. The best part of the house, by far, was the roof-top deck - it was a great place to rest after a long day in the sun, both at the beach and at the pool.
Sayulita itself was great. Lots of delicious places to eat, all very inexpensive. We rented chairs on the beach every day, had lunch either on the beach or tacos on the way back to the house. There were fun places to shop for unique souvenirs. And you can't beat the exchange rate right now - most places gave 14-15 pesos per U.S. dollar.
In all, you really can't beat Casa Amarilla for a relaxing, stress-free vacation in Sayulita. We will certainly be coming back."

"We spent a wonderful week here at Casa Toscana. The landscaping is stunning, the house is nicely built, and everything is clean and up to snuff! The owner was very helpful with final arrangements getting to the house and finding our way around Sayulita for the first time. We have two children - ages 4.5 and 1.5 at time of travel - and the house was perfect. The owners had a pack-n-play, high chair, and stroller ready for us to use, what a breeze! Dependable wi-fi and comfortable beds kept the parents happy too :)
Location of the house is very easy to get in and out of the town center (even walking for our older child was no problem). It has some nice restaurants nearby, and the quiet neighborhood is a nice break from the bustle of town activity."

"What an amazing house. It's the last House up a steep street, with a beautiful view and incredible peace. The house is done perfectly. There is absolutely nothing that isn't stellar. The pool is incredible and long for laps. The kitchen and palapa room are perfect. Easy to forget about the rest of the world when you are here. Short golf cart ride into town. Great cooking facilities. Filtered water. Big bathrooms. A kind gentleman takes care of the house. The owners were so helpful. All around A plus."

lovely house and incredible views. Internet is very, very iffy though
"The views from this house are amazing. Having the use of the golf cart completely negates the distance from town so you really have the best of both worlds. The kitchen is well stocked and amazing with the plethora of glasses and cups. Tip: We spent 4 days not realizing we had a key to the laundry room (as the door is kept locked). You should have a key and as such access to the washer/dryer and the guest bathroom. We had been running out the to pool for that bathroom rather than use the master's. The pool was sparkling clean and such a source of delight for all of us.
Another tip: If the casita is lacking a mosquito net, ask the property manager to arrange one. We spent 2 nights getting bit up before deciding to ask for a net. Lastly, if you are planning a working vacation and depend on internet, seriously look elsewhere. I ASSumed that since Internet was advertised it would actually work and it did work for 2 days. I then had to call multiple times a day since apparently the internet for this house comes from a restaurant down the hill. Very Very iffy service. The lack of reliable internet really ruined my vacation since I had to work while the rest of the family played. :) Tip: the bookstore has reliable internet and there is a business in town which offers reliable internet to the other houses in this neighborhood and also provides an office for you to work out of. I really hope the owners either change their listing to reflect the poor state of the internet they "offer" or contract with http://sayulitawifi.com/ to provide reliable internet service. I know, vacation you should vacation, but unfortunately I could not. :) we had a very wide range of ages, from 85 to 50, and everyone had a lovely time."
