"What a great location! Relaxing, friendly staff, clean sandy beach. If you want to get off the beaten path, this is it. The hiking was beautiful, snorkeling was nice, swimming in the ocean was OUTSTANDING! The beach is definitely swimmable and very child friendly as it is pure sand with virtually no rocks, shells, or seaweed! The house is centrally located, clean and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed Claudia's daily cleaning of the place and her friendly, helpful attitude. We loved Chacala and the people we met. Xplore Chacala taught our son how to surf and guided us on a hike through nearby petroglyphs. Great get away and beautiful home and town!"

"Great location, comfortable furnishings and the most well stocked kitchen for supplies, utensils and small appliances that I have ever seen in a rental unit. Computer in unit an added plus. Loved the larger pool in the T-4 section. Swam 25 of 29 AMs at 600m each day. It was close to our friends in T-5 and brother-in-law in LUMA. It was our 6th time to Playa Royale and couldn't have been better."

"We rented the villa, Las Palmas, for a week with our two young adult children and one of their friends. We had wanted to get away from busy beaches and all-inclusives and this fully- furnished, tastefully decorated house steps away from a really nice pool with an expansive, empty beach just beyond, fit the bill. We bought groceries just outside of Puerta Vallarta, as there are no restaurants very close by, but had the staff cook for us two separate days. These meals were excellent. She was also able to do grocery shopping for us further into the week so we did not have to leave the property. The beach was amazing for boogie boarding and we were able to release newly hatched turtles into the ocean from the turtle sanctuary at one end of the beach. Furthermore, a mangrove lagoon at this same end made for some calm swimming, kayaking, and paddle-boarding. The staff in this community were accommodating at all times and very helpful. We always felt very safe. We will come back again soon."

"This is my 3rd stay at Casa Luna for a girl's getaway. Playa Las Tortugas is an amazing get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It absolutely forces you to slow down and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this remote beach getaway. I hadn't realized how addicted I was to my electronic equipment until my services were less than what we expect in the US. We had great wi-fi service but my cell service was not as reliable as it had been in the past which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. I did find a wi-fi based text application that worked well so I could still communicate with my family. Every time I come there is something different. This year we watched as workers harvested the coconuts and trimmed the trees. It was amazing to watch them climb and descend these huge trees faster than I can the stairs. One of the workers accidentally ran over one of the water spigots right in front of the house which ended up cutting our water off to the house. Since it was Sunday, we were thinking that it there was no way that they could get the pipe fixed and water back on before we left Monday. As we were thinking of a plan B (down by the pool), one of the staff was on the property, knew what to do, and fixed the problem. We had water by the time we returned to the house. The April weather was perfect ... warm but not humid. The sun is intense so don’t be fooled and remember to put on your sunscreen. I was a little concerned about keeping up with some triathalon training during my week but the pool was large enough I was able to swim the perimeter and get a great workout. The 2 master suites gave us ample privacy and are large enough you don't feel closed in. I loved the little gecko that visited me in the shower my first day. The kitchen is well stocked with all the pans, dishes, utensils, and drink ware we needed. Just a little hint, put EVERYTHING that is open in the fridge to keep the ants out. They are tiny little guys and appear within minutes. We spent most of our time sitting under the palapa on the roof from morning coffee to sunset. The views are ones you don’t want to waste by staying inside."
