  • One word needed "WOW"

"Our family has been going to Puerto Vallarta for 8 years now and this was our first time in Sayulita. I must say this trip was different but in a good way the town the people and the condo were fantastic. We really felt at home because of June and David's great hospitality. They were very attentive to our questions and very friendly from day one. We will be coming back for sure as this was the most relaxed holiday we have had in a long time. Thank you June and David and Sayulita!!!!"

  • PERFECT!

"My family and I have done a good amount of traveling in Mexico. We have always stayed in a hotel/resort. This time we chose to be a bit more adventurous and stay on Playa De Las Tortugas. More specifically we stayed at Villa Tortugas. We traveled with our two adult children, ages 23 and 27. They each brought a friend. We flew into Puerto Vallarta and rather than drive we had shuttle take us to the house - it was a great drive with lots to see. The last 30 minutes of the drive was down a unpaved road - at that time I knew we were in for an adventure. We arrived (you can see photos of the house - PERFECT) to fresh coconuts with straws as our drinks - the property and beach with picturesque and the property manager, Pasquel was the best!! He checked in with us several times a day - anything we needed he made sure we had - Chella, who cooked, cleaned and picked up any groceries we needed was also incredible - The wonderful thing about this trip was you could do as much or as little as you wanted - horseback riding, canoeing through the estuary, swimming, etc! This trip might not be for everyone but give me a choice between this and a top end resort - this is my kind of trip! Can not say enough great things - can't wait to go back!!!!!"

  • Incredible Casa del Cielo!

"We recently stayed at the beautiful Casa del Cielo with our family and some friends. We were a group of 7 and the house was absolutely perfect. The location is ideal as it is not too far up the hill so it's just a few minutes to town and the beach, yet far enough away that we were not bothered by the nightly music in town. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. The living, dining area, and veranda are very large and comfortable. The bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which is very convenient as well as plenty of space to hang and store clothing and luggage. The pool and the grounds are beyond words! Karen, the owner, and the caretakers were extremely helpful and answered all of our questions promptly. The caretakers cleaned each day and helped us with any inquiry. We booked the property very last minute (a few days before arrival) and Karen was very understanding, easy to work with, and friendly. She has also has several recommendations of what to do in town, the surrounding area, where to eat, and shop and nothing let us down. Thank you, Karen! I would recommend this house to anyone going to Sayulita and I also hope we will stay there again in the future. Casa del Cielo is a true gem."

  • family of eight!

"This was the BEST vacation that we have ever taken! This was completely due to the accommodations. It was a quiet town. The house was spacious, lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed staying at a house right on the beach. Stacy and Lonnie were helpful and friendly, but not intrusive. I could not recommend this house more highly!"

The Riviera Nayarit encompasses every interest, so that even the most demanding traveler will be satisfied. The possibilities for fun are simply endless.

Eating is Half the Fun

During your Riviera Nayarit travel, you will find that food is definitely the focus in this wonderful beachfront town. There are so many dishes and local favorites to choose from that you may gain a pant size or two while on vacation! Travelers can dine off the street or settle into any of the quaint seafood, Mexican, and tapas restaurants night after night and never eat the same thing twice.

If you are dining on a budget, your best bet is to head to the middle of town and check out the square. The local vendors in the city center often sell birria, which is a local goat stew, and tacos from their hand-driven carts. On the hottest of summer days, you will also find shaved ice with homemade guava and other delicious syrups.

Where to Shop

Whenever you go on vacation, it is always a great idea to bring a souvenir home or even a few gifts for your friends and family. Just south of the town square, you will find row upon row of street vendors selling various arts, crafts, and collectibles. You will also find your fair share of t-shirt stands. Other than the street vendors, there really is not much shopping in Riviera Nayarit. What you will get is plenty of that small-town vibe and handmade crafts.

Choose Riviera Nayarit Resorts Instead of Hotels

Why stay in a stuffy hotel when you have your pick of Riviera Nayarit resorts?
