  • San Pancho Vacation

"Enjoyed a great get away as one of four couples. Casa Pacifica housed us nicely with 4 large bedrooms thankfully each with their own private ensuites. A generous Kitchen dining and living area although we lived on the patio :-) We generally did our own cooking and thought that we could have used a bigger frypan and another larger pot. Also note that no basic condiments are included - no salt/pepper etc. We spent a lot of time on the patio which is very nice but the chairs have seen better days - a couple being particularly rough. San Pancho is a nice, clean, quiet town - about a twenty minute walk by beach or road - where there is quite a nice selection of restaurants also small shops for groceries although I would advise doing a bigger shop at the Mega store for a much better selection. We did have an issue during our stay and are happy to report that Jose Luis (the house manager) went above and beyond to help us out - so much appreciated - unfortunately we can not say the same of Ron (the owner) his lack of support/interest was very disappointing. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend San Pancho for anybody wanting a sun filled holiday without being tourist filled"

"If you are looking for a beautiful and spacious home to stay in, away from the crowds, on a long secluded beautiful beach with fantastic sunsets, warm very swimmable ocean, wonderful cooks, great pools, lush well maintained grounds, wifi,is very safe, then Villa Tortuga at Playa Las Tortugas is the place for you. There were mornings that I went on 6 mile walks and was the only person making tracks in the very fine sandy beach. Afternoons were spent either by the private pool or on the beach, where there were never more than 4-5 other couples or families, all at least 50 yards apart. I am almost 71 and truly enjoyed the boogie boards in the ocean that came with the villa. Getting to Las Tortugas is a bit of a drive, but well worth. The directions provided by Marianne are excellent. A wonderful and warm married couple, Ramon and Liliana take care of the house and grounds, and will cook fantastic meals twice a day for you, if you choose to have that done. Some of the homeowners that stay at Las Tortugas several months a year walk the beaches daily and pick up things that have washed in from the ocean, which help to keep the beaches pristine."

  • A very relaxing 2 week vacation

"We stayed in Rita's condo between March 7 to 21. We are 2 adult couples. Condo: Neat, clean, spacious and up to date. It has ALL the supplies that you'll ever going to need. It's like staying at home; where you have all the supplies, accessories and conveniences. Full size fridge and 4 burner stove. Microwave and coffee maker. BBQ on the balcony. What a bonus! Used that a few times during our stay. Flat screen tv, ipod stand. Washer and dryer. Internet speed ranges from "dial up speed" to fast. It's finicky! Building: Looks a little worn. No need for concern. Grounds: Well kept. 24 hour security. Pool: 2 large ones and another by the beach for swimming laps. clean and well kept. No problems getting pool loungers, sun shelters with mattresses and pillows. Very quiet and laid back atmosphere. Beach: Awesome! Sandy and not rocky. Not busy compared to neighboring hotels. Location: North side of Nuevo Vallarta bordering on Bucerias. 25 minute leisurely stroll to Mega (supermarket that has everything) Taxi rides - just ask the security guards. Takes 2 minutes. 25 minute leisurely stroll to Bucerias (south side). The location is very safe because you have to go through several security check points to get to the building. Absolutely no concerns to your safety! Owner of Condo: Awesome to deal with. Prompt in responding to questions or concerns. I will absolutely rent from her again without hesitation! Highly recommend! Other remarks: Rita (owner) suggest a "pay it forward" to the next guest; which is a great idea! Example: when we arrived after a long plane ride, we wanted ice cold beer to quench our thirst. We found them in the fridge. We liked the idea so much, we decided to "pay it forward" also to the next guest in a generous way. Unlike timeshare where you have to dispose of everything before you leave. which is such a waste!"

  • Magical Location

"My new husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it truly was magical. The house was beautiful and spacious, right on the beach. Every night we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. We had a blast exploring little Lo De Marcos, chatting with the locals, and snacking at one of the few delicious restaurants in town. We also were able to take a horseback ride along the deserted beach into the jungle, which was super fun. Check in and check out were a breeze and Dave had some fantastic recommendations on what to do and see in the area. Clarita's restaurant was a fab breakfast spot, then we walked next door and bought fresh vegetables and beautifully hand-painted dishes at the farmer's market in town. I think our favorite part was while relaxing on the beach, we found an older gentleman selling delicious homemade orange and banana bread for only a few pesos. This is the type of place you read about in books. If you want to get away from everything, this is the place to stay. With a taxi stand in town, we got around no problem without a rental car. Highly recommend Casa Lo De Marcos!"
