  • Excellent House, Excellent Host!

"We rented this house from mid-July until mid-August for a month with two familes (4 adults and 4 kids) -- the house has a great setup and Alejandro was very welcoming, extremely accommodating and we had a great experience all around. That time of the year is very hot so be prepared, but the rooms are air conditioned and once we re-shuffled our daily routine (basically spending afternoons either in the ocean, the pool or reading in our air conditioned rooms) everything was wonderful. We went surfing, paddle boarding, mountain biking and also took several day trips and a couple of multi-day trips out in to the area around PV. The house is a short walk from the beach and 10 minutes to the town center. It is quiet and secure and we rented a car for a few weeks to be able to go to other towns. If you rent a car, make sure it's a car that can clear the dirt roads in Sayulita -- they can have some deep ruts. We are definitely going to return here!"

  • Absolutely perfect!

"We can't say enough good things about Cristina's condo. It is large, clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. The kitchen is large enough to have 5-6 people working in it and not get in each other's way. The unit has WIFI and direct TV. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, balcony and TV. We felt very safe with Antonio and Eddie at the gate who also were very helpful. The pool is heated, a good size and only about 50 feet from the patio. The beach is about a 10 minute easy walk away. To access the beach club you need to buy a membership. It was about $50 per person for a month. Cristina was great, always quick to respond to our questions and emails. Thanks Cristina for making our winter escape so enjoyable and relaxing."

  • Best ever!

"We stayed in this beautiful casita for 2 weeks this May, 2014. The casita and the hosts exceeded my expectations all the way around. Although very private, I felt that if I needed anything at all, all I had to do was ask. We felt completely safe and well cared for. The casita itself is so very charming and extraordinarily comfortable. The photos do not really do it justice! The breezes are amazing and the view was something I will never forget. I spent many a morning with my coffee out on the veranda watching the sun rise over the mountains and sea - and listening to the birds sing their morning songs. Parrots too! I will stay here with Joan and Dave next time I come to Sayulita, which hopefully will be very soon. Really, it was lovely in every way."

  • Vista Hermosa Private Villa

"Vista Hermosa has incredible views of Sayulita. The pictures are real. Sayulita is very friendly to tourists. The clean beach and surfing make it a family destination. Manager Ramon and taxi driver Margarito were very attentive to our needs."

Nayarit Travel Tips

Riviera Nayarit Vacation Rentals Offer an Eclectic Mix of Fun

Riviera Nayarit, located at the heart of Banderas Bay vacations, allows for a truly wonderful vacation. Your Mexican adventure will have an eclectic mix of fun and excitement unlike any other. In fact, you may feel that you have found a little piece of heaven on earth. Stretching from the lovely town of Jarretaderas to Lo de Marcos, the area will ensure your time spent here will be filled with an amazing and unforgettable array of sights, sounds, and activities. The Riviera Nayarit encompasses every interest, so that even the most demanding traveler will be satisfied. The possibilities for fun are simply endless.

Eating is Half the Fun

During your Riviera Nayarit travel, you will find that food is definitely the focus in this wonderful beachfront town. There are so many dishes and local favorites to choose from that you may gain a pant size or two while on vacation! Travelers can dine off the street or settle into any of the quaint seafood, Mexican, and tapas restaurants night after night and never eat the same thing twice.

If you are dining on a budget, your best bet is to head to the middle of town and check out the square. The local vendors in the city center often sell birria, which is a local goat stew, and tacos from their hand-driven carts. On the hottest of summer days, you will also find shaved ice with homemade guava and other delicious syrups.

Where to Shop

Whenever you go on vacation, it is always a great idea to bring a souvenir home or even a few gifts for your friends and family. Just south of the town square, you will find row upon row of street vendors selling various arts, crafts, and collectibles. You will also find your fair share of t-shirt stands. Other than the street vendors, there really is not much shopping in Riviera Nayarit. What you will get is plenty of that small-town vibe and handmade crafts.

Choose Riviera Nayarit Resorts Instead of Hotels

Why stay in a stuffy hotel when you have your pick of Riviera Nayarit resorts? The accommodations in town range from the most luxurious resorts and hotels to the most modern rentals any family could hope for. Whether you are traveling for your honeymoon or a family adventure, there will be a lodging solution that meets your needs. No matter what, you will return home both refreshed and rejuvenated.
