  • Wonderful vacation!!!

"As advertised! Violeta met us at the lobby, showed us the condo, answered all our questions and offered us a ride to the Mega store for groceries. Thank you very much Violeta! We had a great stay at Flamingos. The condo was very clean and comfortable, fantastic view, awesome beach and well maintained facility. The only challenge in this studio would be for the gourmet cooks! The small two burner stove limits the amount of hot dishes you can cook at once! We managed quite well but you must be creative in planning your menu. Bucerias is a nice walk down the beach at low tide (about 40 minutes) walk up the road or take a short cab ride, this community has a lot to offer for great dining, art galleries, street shopping, flea market and many bars for the thirsty. The bus that can take you to Walmart or into Puerto Vallarta comes by the front of Flamingos about every twenty minutes. Once again, thank you Ricardo, Ana Lucia and Violeta. Hope to see you in 2015!! Bryan & Betty"

  • Beachfront Paradise

"We have stayed here at least 6 times and never once been disappointed! The accommodations are superb, and the location is perfect. The staff at Playa Royale is always very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. We have come down with our adult children, grandchildren and for a girls getaway and this place is great no matter what the scenario. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and with 3 good sized bedrooms (each with its own ensuite), so everyone can have their own space. There is satellite TV in every room (if you have time to watch TV!) and an office with internet access, wifi and a printer if needed. The wrap around patio (equipped with gas BBQ) is great for either sun or shade during the day and to watch the most amazing sunsets every evening. The patio overlooks a beautiful garden area and the pool, and a few steps further, the ocean. It is your choice to sit by the pool or down on the beach...lots of comfy lounge chairs available either way and palapas if you need some shade. There is also a childrens pool for the little ones and if you feel adventurous, can try boogie boarding in the ocean. We like to be active, so being able to join the fitness centre at El Tigre (within walking distance) for a very reasonable price was a bonus for us. There is some shopping in Paradise Village, an enjoyable 10 minute walk and includes a Starbucks (made my husband happy) and there are a number of great restaurants in the area (within walking distance). If you would like to venture out of the area, cabs are inexpensive and its about a 15 minute cab ride into Bucerias or a 30 minute drive into Puerto Vallarta. Whether your preference is to be active, or to just kick back and enjoy the predictable sunshine every day, the choice is yours! We would highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back!"

  • We had a fantastic time staying at Casa de Amigos!

"We had a terrific time! We were picked up by Juan at the airport who is personable, funny, speaks English and is knowledgable about the area. We arrived to find an immaculate home and a beautiful property complete with swimming pool. Bally, the chef is fantastic! We ate like kings. Every meal she made was superb! She made whatever we wanted including a special request of key lime and coconut pie. We ate two meals out but decided not to eat out anymore because the food Bally made was far superior to any restaurant. Juan also helped with meal preparation and made us pina coladas, mango smoothies, fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast etc. Juan also arranged for us to have surfing lessons, boards brought right to the house, as well as massages and facials also done at the house. The individuals who performed these services were professional and great! We went on Ally Cat Adventures, catamaran sailboat to Island Marietas. I definitely recommend this boat over others we saw. Great personalized service fun day of kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling and swimming to a hidden beach with caves. Bally cleaned the house, mopped the floors daily and even did our laundry. It doesn't get much better! We had a very relaxing time! The beach is a private beach and the home is in a private gated community. We felt very safe. We can't wait to return again!"

  • Best place on the Beach

"Everything you would expect and more. Beautiful setting, beautiful condo and right on the beach. More room than you might think you would need. Fully equiped kitchen, great bathrooms, breeze that cools you off and within walking distance of many many very good restaurants. Wished we could have stayed longer. Very secure property"

The Riviera Nayarit encompasses every interest, so that even the most demanding traveler will be satisfied. The possibilities for fun are simply endless.

Eating is Half the Fun

During your Riviera Nayarit travel, you will find that food is definitely the focus in this wonderful beachfront town. There are so many dishes and local favorites to choose from that you may gain a pant size or two while on vacation! Travelers can dine off the street or settle into any of the quaint seafood, Mexican, and tapas restaurants night after night and never eat the same thing twice.

If you are dining on a budget, your best bet is to head to the middle of town and check out the square. The local vendors in the city center often sell birria, which is a local goat stew, and tacos from their hand-driven carts. On the hottest of summer days, you will also find shaved ice with homemade guava and other delicious syrups.

Where to Shop

Whenever you go on vacation, it is always a great idea to bring a souvenir home or even a few gifts for your friends and family. Just south of the town square, you will find row upon row of street vendors selling various arts, crafts, and collectibles. You will also find your fair share of t-shirt stands. Other than the street vendors, there really is not much shopping in Riviera Nayarit. What you will get is plenty of that small-town vibe and handmade crafts.

Choose Riviera Nayarit Resorts Instead of Hotels

Why stay in a stuffy hotel when you have your pick of Riviera Nayarit resorts? The accommodations in town range from the most luxurious resorts and hotels to the most modern rentals any family could hope for. Whether you are traveling for your honeymoon or a family adventure, there will be a lodging solution that meets your needs. No matter what, you will return home both refreshed and rejuvenated.
