  • Renting every year!!

"Absolutely perfect! 5 and 1/2 bath, 5 bedrooms is so rare! Priced very well when compared to others. Don't want to rave too much because I want this place for myself every year! Clean, clean, clean, and you can't beat being this close to the beach. Pool is perfect and was cleaned every day. Maybe a half mile to town, easy for necessities!"

  • Amazing and relaxing vacation!

"My husband and I spend 8 glorious days in this beautiful unit. We were the first of the season so there were a few hiccups and things that needed attending too -- but Giovanni did an amazing job of getting things taken care of in a very timely manner. The unit is spotless and there are plenty of towels and the kitchen is really well equipped. We had a chef for 4 nights of our stay and the food was amazing. We can't wait to come back and bring our kids. I would highly recommend this property -- and our experience from the beach club to the drivers that brought us to and from the airport were all great. It was hard to leave!"

  • Playa Royale

"We really enjoyed our stay at Playa Royale. The pools and beach are great, and there are several great restaurants within walking distance. We loved the spaciousness of the unit with the separate bedrooms for our child and separate shower. The view from the balcony was wonderful. The only issue we had was that both shower doors were very worn and difficult to open. We would definitely return- it was a wonderful and relaxing vaction."

  • lovely house and incredible views. Internet is very, very iffy though

"The views from this house are amazing. Having the use of the golf cart completely negates the distance from town so you really have the best of both worlds. The kitchen is well stocked and amazing with the plethora of glasses and cups. Tip: We spent 4 days not realizing we had a key to the laundry room (as the door is kept locked). You should have a key and as such access to the washer/dryer and the guest bathroom. We had been running out the to pool for that bathroom rather than use the master's. The pool was sparkling clean and such a source of delight for all of us. Another tip: If the casita is lacking a mosquito net, ask the property manager to arrange one. We spent 2 nights getting bit up before deciding to ask for a net. Lastly, if you are planning a working vacation and depend on internet, seriously look elsewhere. I ASSumed that since Internet was advertised it would actually work and it did work for 2 days. I then had to call multiple times a day since apparently the internet for this house comes from a restaurant down the hill. Very Very iffy service. The lack of reliable internet really ruined my vacation since I had to work while the rest of the family played. :) Tip: the bookstore has reliable internet and there is a business in town which offers reliable internet to the other houses in this neighborhood and also provides an office for you to work out of. I really hope the owners either change their listing to reflect the poor state of the internet they "offer" or contract with http://sayulitawifi.com/ to provide reliable internet service. I know, vacation you should vacation, but unfortunately I could not. :) we had a very wide range of ages, from 85 to 50, and everyone had a lovely time."

Eating is Half the Fun

During your Riviera Nayarit travel, you will find that food is definitely the focus in this wonderful beachfront town. On the hottest of summer days, you will also find shaved ice with homemade guava and other delicious syrups.

Where to Shop

Whenever you go on vacation, it is always a great idea to bring a souvenir home or even a few gifts for your friends and family. Just south of the town square, you will find row upon row of street vendors selling various arts, crafts, and collectibles. You will also find your fair share of t-shirt stands. Other than the street vendors, there really is not much shopping in Riviera Nayarit. What you will get is plenty of that small-town vibe and handmade crafts.
