Bici Bucerias all-inclusive cycling trip
"Casa Victoria was a perfect place to use as a base for our 9 days in Bucerias. We had the upper floor unit with two bedrooms, a very spacious common area and a large balcony/outdoor seating area. The location is ideal...situated in a neighbourhood with an authentic Mexican feeling, but still very close walking distance from the beach and the more developed streets with restaurants and stores as well as the Bici Bucerias bike tour/rental shop. We felt very safe throughout our stay in Bucerias and area. Joel and Jillian, the owners, live only a block away and it's very convenient to have them nearby if any issues arise (our toilet needed a small repair and they promptly arranged to have it fixed). It was a bonus to have the boogie boards supplied so we could have fun playing in the waves that roll in to the beach each afternoon! We will return."

Casa Litibu...Luxurious vacation in a small town on a private locals only beach
"We spent 2 weeks over the Christmas Holiday at Casa Litibu. It was the best way to spend Christmas and New Years.
The owner, Bonnie, was very easy to work with. She was so patient with quickly answering every question that I had.
When we finally arrived we were surprised with how stunning the house was. The pictures do not do the house and surrounding area any justice. The quaint town was teaming with friendly residents.
When we arrived the house manager, Ricardo, was there to greet us. I cannot say enough about how helpful and kind he and his wife are. He was so helpful with answering our questions about the surrounding area. He helped us set up horse back riding trips and a boat trip to Marietas Island. During our boat trip with Jose, we had several sightings of whales and dolphins that jumped out of the water so closely to our boat. It was amazing and did not disappoint! It was the closest I had been to either one of those majestic animals.
I had prearranged with Bonnie to have Ricardo's wife make us several dinners while we were there. This is a must! She is an amazing cook. She made us chilli relleno on our 1st night, red mole with chicken on Christmas Eve, and chicken enchiladas on New Years Eve...OMG! I would recommend them all. It was not much more expensive than having a meal out and it was in the comfort of the beautiful house on the deck at sunset with the sound of the waves on beach just steps away. It was magical.
During our stay we also had Graciela and Luis from Nirvana spa in Sayulita come to the home to give massages. This is also another must! We had them set up under the 3rd floor palapa. It was very affordable and completely worth it to make the trip feel that much more luxurious.
There is a fisherman named Raphael who sells fish and seafood right on the beach that he caught that same day. Wow! Talk about fresh and delicious. He sells it just a few steps down the beach from the house. We hardly had to leave the town to go shopping because all of the simple ingredients needed to make meals were right there in Higuera Blanca. It's easy to make things taste great when they are that fresh.
I would suggest renting a vehicle while there. The surrounding towns are worth the visit. Our favourite was San Pancho. A vehicle is also needed to run into the town of Higuera Blanca. You can walk but it will take you at least 30 minutes to get to there.
The town of Higuera Blanca and area of Playa Llitibu are very small. If you are looking for"

"We are lovers of Mexico and this spot exceeded our expectations! It has the best of all worlds. Privacy, beautiful beach, warm water, pool, jacuzzi, spacious house and helpful household staff. My grown children and grandchildren accompanied me and it was unanimous this was one of our best vacations to date. One of our highlights were the excellent dinners we chose to have prepared by the available cook. The owners of this home went out of their way to be helpful and to make enjoying our stay easy! Thank you for sharing your home. We are talking about our return visit already!"

"This place in general is more spacious than you can appreciate from the pictures. The location is great at the very end of the north side and as such is very quiet and private. You can walk along the beach to breath taking cliffs of rocks. The beach on this area is on the rough side and not recommended for swimming but a lot of Sayulita (aside from the main beach and playa de los muertos) is like this. The town center is a 4 minute drive away. The view is awesome, pool temperature was perfect, 2 main bedrooms (and bathrooms) huge and the a/c on them works great. Kitchen has everything needed to cook. The owner, manager and rest of the staff were great and reacted immediately to our questions and requests. I highly recommend Casa de la Vida."
