  • A CALMING OAISIS

"My husband and I had the extreme pleasure of making this lovely condo our home for two months. We never tired of the stunning views out of every single window, sea vistas in the front and gorgeous shaded mountains in the back. Everything one could possibly need for living a cozy and comfortable life was provided and the space was open and airy. My husband took advantage of the beach and pool and used the gym every single day. We ate all our meals, except breakfast , out and enjoyed the many wonderful choices in both Ixtapa and Zihua. We had most lunches at the BVG restaurant and found the menu perfect and the wait staff terrific. It will be very difficult for us to return to reality and face the sub-zero temps waiting for us in New York.!!! We are grateful to the kind owers for this opportunity and found them charming and so easy to work with. Mucho Gracias!!"

  • The perfect vacation rental

"My friends and I rented this gorgeous condo for Christmas week. From the minute we walked in we knew it was going to be perfect. The furnishings are elegant and comfortable. Everything we needed for cooking was available in well stocked kitchen. Both bedrooms were comfortable, with excellent linens, and comfortable beds. We especially enjoyed having coffee out on the patio, while enjoying the amazing view. The staff at the BVG is extremely friendly and helpful. We loved hanging out at the pool and using the palapas on the beach. We really enjoyed going to Zihua for dinner, etc. The security guards at the gate were so helpful in calling for transportation, which was ridiculously cheap. I highly recommend Tamales Any for dinner. We went there three nights in a row....muy bueno!!! Our vacation was perfect in every way. We have rented many condos in Mexico, and this was by far our best experience. A perfect 10. Thank you so much Linda!!"

  • Beachfront Condo

"This is a second floor unit overlooking Manzanillo Bay. You can watch the pelican's dive for fish, the ships coming in and out of Port, beautiful sunsets as well as taking long walks on the beach. Being right on the beach, the metal appliances show some stress from the salt air but were fully functional. It is also an older unit. There are a number of good restaurants within a short walking distance and three grocery stores within a mile. We used the bus at 7 pesos each. The exchange was between 14.1 and 14.5 to $1 during our stay. We found it very economical. All in all, my wife and I enjoyed our six weeks in a great location."

  • Lifetime Memories Were Made

"We were a family of 11 consisting of 4 generations, ages 15 months to 76 years. Casa Coco was the absolute ideal for such a gathering. With the many gathering areas as well as quiet spots to read or snooze in the sun everyone could find their perfect spot. Our evening gatherings in the large and comfortable livingroom will long be remembered. Lupita, who provides the daily maid service as well as offering an excellent evening catering service is a true gem. She quietly and efficiently completed her tasks whether we were all in residence or not. The three dinners she catered for us were excellently prepared, served and completely cleaned up after. The meals were also extremely good value. The handbook provided at the time of booking was most useful and we followed many of its recommendations, including availing ourselves of the daily fresh baked muffins that arrived via the "Muffin Man" who walked along the beach each morning. The entire week went so well and everything about Casa Coco was just as we wished it to be. It is a place at which memories are made!"

Mexican Riviera Travel Tips

Getting to Mexican Riviera Vacation Rentals

The Mexican Riviera refers to an extensive region on the western coast of Mexico. It includes more than 20 cities that are located along the coastline. Some of the more well-known resort areas include Acapulco, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Sinaloa, and Ensenada. There are several major international airports in the region and your arrival point will largely be determined by where you will be spending your vacation. There are regional airports at both Acapulco and Mazlatan, and many flights to this area route via Mexico City which is located further inland. If you will be traveling to the Baja California Peninsula then your best option is to fly into Tijuana which is located just south of the U.S. border. From there, you can rent a car and drive to your destination. There are no rail connections and only a few bus routes along the coast. The best way to get around is to fly into the closest international or regional airport and rent a car. Depending on where you are staying, you could also simply use taxi transportation from the airport.

Stylish Hospitality at Mexican Riviera Vacation Houses

Many of the rental homes are typically spacious and can accommodate small groups of friends or large families. Often between 10 and 12 guests can stay in one villa without feeling cramped. The living areas are generally large and many of the homes have outdoor patios where you can enjoy the magnificent sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms ensure that all guests have sufficient privacy and personal space. The kitchens tend to be the center of the homes where families can dine together and catch up on the day’s activities. Modern appliances ensure that vacation catering is easy and convenient. Many of the vacation homes are available with a staff who ensures that laundry, cleaning and meals are taken care of. Many of the vacation homes are set along the coastline, providing easy access to the beaches.

Sun and Fun at Mexican Riviera Condos

The west coast of Mexico is known for its consistent sunshine, great vacation vibe, long stretches of beaches and excellent surfing. Typically, many of the visitors attracted to the many cities and towns along the coast are sun lovers and surfers. With the development of kite surfing and wind surfing, you will see many colorful sails leaping up above the waves on a day when the conditions are good. Beachcombers can enjoy long leisurely strolls along the beaches and relish the sound on the surf pounding on the beach. There are many historical and cultural attractions in the cities. You can visit museums and monuments and browse local craft stalls for souvenirs. Some souvenirs include bracelets and handcrafted jewelry, copper and brass items, carvings, paintings, and textiles.

Best Time of Year to Travel to Puerto Vallarta Vacation Rentals on the Mexican Riviera

Puerto Vallarta is a popular vacation destination because it has some of the best weather on Mexico’s western coastline. Throughout the year, the average daily temperature varies between 70 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit. This makes it an ideal destination for sun lovers. The late summer months are typically the low season as they are characterized by very high temperatures and heavy rains. Occasionally, tropical storms blow in between July and September bringing strong winds and torrential downpours. The peak travel season occurs during the drier winter months between December and April. During this time, temperatures are still warm and many people from icy northern climates travel to the Mexican Riviera for a mid-winter break.
