  • A Perfect Balance

"We just returned from a weeks getaway in lovely Sayulita. Having stayed in Sayulita many times over the years I would have to say this location is absolutely perfect: very private, very quiet, steps to beach and a short charming stroll to the activity in town. The house is large, clean and nicely appointed. The outdoor palapa lounge was a favourite gathering spot. We were a group of 4 (2 couples) and the house was more than we needed as we had a spare bedroom. Beds very comfortable. Bathrooms lovely and well appointed. Just a little addendum: I have included that this property would be suitable for persons with disabilities as it is the first location in Sayulita where I have stayed that is both beautiful and where there are no steps or rough terrain from the main road to the house or from the main house to the beach!"

  • Great Location

"My wife and I spent 2 weeks at the condo in January, 2015. The location of the complex in Bucerias is almost in a perfect spot. Everything is very close and easy to get to. There are many very fine restaurants within just a few minute walk. Stores for those missing items also within an easy 5 minute walk. The view, especially sunsets...AMAZING! The pool area was really nice and well looked after. Never had to fight for a lounge chair or umbrella. The condo itself has everything you need to prepare your own meals, including a really nice large Weber Q bbq. The balcony was were we spent most of our time while in the condo, took all our meals on it. With that view how can you not. Sally is the property manager...very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this condo without question."

  • Great private villa

"We stayed at Casa Papa as the last stop on our tour of Riviera Nayarit. It was an amazing retreat with the perfect amount of privacy. We spent alot of time in the pool cooling off enjoying the open floor plan of the first level. We had music on the speakers the whole time. I loved that the living spaces on the first floor were so communal while the 2nd and 3rd floors provided so much privacy. Both bedrooms on the 2nd floor have their own bathroom with gorgeous fixtures and they share a balcony overlooking the pool. The 3rd floor is entirely private and open to the ocean breeze. Each room also has an essential ceiling fan. There are plenty of towels and bed linens as well as an essential washer/dryer. It is located at the end of a road that is a six minute walk to town. The caretakers, Teresa & Jose, were a few houses down and ready to answer our every question (in Spanish). We will definitely stay here again next time in Sayulita!"

Mexican Riviera Travel Tips

Getting to Mexican Riviera Vacation Rentals

The Mexican Riviera refers to an extensive region on the western coast of Mexico. It includes more than 20 cities that are located along the coastline. Some of the more well-known resort areas include Acapulco, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Sinaloa, and Ensenada. There are several major international airports in the region and your arrival point will largely be determined by where you will be spending your vacation. There are regional airports at both Acapulco and Mazlatan, and many flights to this area route via Mexico City which is located further inland. If you will be traveling to the Baja California Peninsula then your best option is to fly into Tijuana which is located just south of the U.S. border. From there, you can rent a car and drive to your destination. There are no rail connections and only a few bus routes along the coast. The best way to get around is to fly into the closest international or regional airport and rent a car. Depending on where you are staying, you could also simply use taxi transportation from the airport.

Stylish Hospitality at Mexican Riviera Vacation Houses

Many of the rental homes are typically spacious and can accommodate small groups of friends or large families. Often between 10 and 12 guests can stay in one villa without feeling cramped. The living areas are generally large and many of the homes have outdoor patios where you can enjoy the magnificent sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms ensure that all guests have sufficient privacy and personal space. The kitchens tend to be the center of the homes where families can dine together and catch up on the day’s activities. Modern appliances ensure that vacation catering is easy and convenient. Many of the vacation homes are available with a staff who ensures that laundry, cleaning and meals are taken care of. Many of the vacation homes are set along the coastline, providing easy access to the beaches.

Sun and Fun at Mexican Riviera Condos

The west coast of Mexico is known for its consistent sunshine, great vacation vibe, long stretches of beaches and excellent surfing. Typically, many of the visitors attracted to the many cities and towns along the coast are sun lovers and surfers. With the development of kite surfing and wind surfing, you will see many colorful sails leaping up above the waves on a day when the conditions are good. Beachcombers can enjoy long leisurely strolls along the beaches and relish the sound on the surf pounding on the beach. There are many historical and cultural attractions in the cities. You can visit museums and monuments and browse local craft stalls for souvenirs. Some souvenirs include bracelets and handcrafted jewelry, copper and brass items, carvings, paintings, and textiles.

Best Time of Year to Travel to Puerto Vallarta Vacation Rentals on the Mexican Riviera

Puerto Vallarta is a popular vacation destination because it has some of the best weather on Mexico’s western coastline. Throughout the year, the average daily temperature varies between 70 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit. This makes it an ideal destination for sun lovers. The late summer months are typically the low season as they are characterized by very high temperatures and heavy rains. Occasionally, tropical storms blow in between July and September bringing strong winds and torrential downpours. The peak travel season occurs during the drier winter months between December and April. During this time, temperatures are still warm and many people from icy northern climates travel to the Mexican Riviera for a mid-winter break.
