  • Great times!

"We had the pleasure of finding this property and renting for 3 weeks. It is quite nice and private. It is located outside of town in a little village of Chila. That in itself was a great experience. The people were more then kind and helpful. It had the old world feel. To get to Puerto Escondido the owner let us rent his mini van from him personally for the 3 weeks, totally awesome! The Canadians are very hospitable friendly people. The condo itself is new and very nice. Mario the pool boy is there daily to accommodate your needs. Juan another investor in the property is helpful as well. Recommend this property for equal amounts of quiet time and secluded to fun and surfing 15 minutes away. Tyler will go the extra mile for you every time, we had the pleasure of meeting him there at the property for a day! We will return someday!"

  • Perfect!

"We rented Casa Lily (middle unit) for a week in February with our 2 kids. We loved the cleanliness of the place and the property. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood one block away from Playa Zicatella and a 5 minute walk from the busy Zicatella area. Very convenient for breakfast as it is a block away from Dan's Café Deluxe, famous for its breakfasts and weekend only fish tacos. Further down at the end of Calle Jacarandas on the right, there is another little open air restaurant where we had several good meals. The Casa is tastefully decorated and conveniently equipped. But the highlight for us was the swimming pool. We planned our days to be back from the beach around 4pm to enjoy the pool and our kids pretty much learned to swim in it. We will definitely return next year."

  • Peaceful Haven

"This villa is exquisitely and tastefully designed with a rustic and eastern charm, combining all the comforts of home with the spectacular surrounding nature. Situated right on the beach itself, you can choose to swim in the sea or enjoy a jacuzzi in the swimming pool with a glass of something refreshing! There is Wifi, a large airy kitchen and dining table with big windows with all the kitchen facilities you could need, and the adjoining open plan lounge which is also open plan to the garden and beach itself. A perfect place to meditate, and recharge away from it all....only the The friendly gardener who cleans the pool and waters the gardens daily who is also on hand to help out if anything is required. The bedrooms and beds are so comfortable and plenty of hot running water... The area is full of interesting wildlife...and at night it is just heaven sitting on the veranda listening to the crickets and lapping tide. I would describe this place sincerely as a haven...and truly hope I get to visit again one day. Increase the Peace!"

  • A Birthday Paradise

"I want to write you and personally thank you for the vision and creative energy you invested into Casa Emelina. The initial dirt road entry had me a little concerned, but the moment we arrived at the property we felt like we were on a movie set. I don’t want to overstate the experience, and I’m not sure I can, but please indulge me here in my compliments to you, your staff and the home. There were 15 of us in total and not once did we feel crowded. I thought there would be a rush for the best rooms but this wasn’t the case. Each room was spectacular in its own right. However, since it was my birthday I was awarded the master suite and here I am at a loss for words. Suffice it to say that I have stayed in fine resorts all over the world and this was truly my favorite. The layout, openness and “tree-house” feeling of the home is such that we had all the privacy we needed while still enjoying a range of communal areas for card games, Happy Hours, yoga classes, dancing, dining, swimming and on and on. And that doesn’t even include the ocean just a few yards away. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves and we took full advantage of the big waves and many long walks. The sunsets were spectacular. And your staff was excellent. From their fine tropical drinks to the fantastic meals and surprise birthday cakes, these workers didn’t miss a beat. The home was always clean and well kept and we soon got to know each staff member personally. By the time we left they all felt like family. Also, Kia arranged excellent transportation for us to take side trips. One afternoon we traveled to Agua Blanca where we swam in the surf and enjoyed fresh oysters, cold beer and coconut drinks under the palm trees and cabanas of this sleepy beach hamlet. It was divine! In closing, I’m always suspect when I read these types of over-complementary reviews. However, I have no profit in this other than to honestly tell you that you have created a paradise that made my birthday as rich and wonderful as I could possibly have imagined. We all hope to be back soon!"
