"One of the most wonderful places to stay at! We had a great vacation in October at Sueno del Mar. The property is clean, people are wonderful and very helpful. I would recommend this place to everybody. The apartment is just great. Everything was perfect."Guest: Sabine Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 2, 2014View listing
"This condo was excellent! The owners were readily available by email to answer an questions we had. There were boogie boards at the condo that we used at La Bocana beach the three times that we went there. We used the umbrella at Entrega beach both times that we went there. The condo is situated in an excellent area for getting cabs and is only a 3 minute walk to the beach and the beach restaurants, marina and the market. My family went to both of the grocery stores, super Che and Soriana, very fun with the language barriers. We went into La Cressita several times and enjoyed supper at Terra Cotta and the pizza at La Crema and beer and margaritas at several of the square area restaurants. We met some really nice people at the condo, I would recommend this condo and the wonderful area to anyone. We made an excellent choice and a great place to spend Christmas"Guest: Harper Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: January 7, 2014View listing
"My family and I stayed at this property for one week in April 2014. The house is clean, well-maintained and nicely decorated and the view of the nearby mountains is beautiful. The owners and property manager were very considerate and easy to deal with. We did have a problem with the water supply on the second day, but the property manager came by quickly and got it fixed. The only possible downside I can think of is the distance from the Centro Historico -- about 25-30 minutes by car. This might be inconvenient for a first-time or short-term visitor. For us, though, even this was a plus since we enjoyed being in a semi-rural area with all the sights and sounds of traditional Mexico. In sum, this is an excellent option if you're looking to visit the Oaxaca area."Guest: Gil A. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 24, 2014View listing

Oaxaca Travel Tips
Staying in Oaxaca Vacation Rentals
Oaxaca is a city and region in southern Mexico. It is a delightfully cultural place to enjoy a vacation. The mountains and valleys in the area are home to a large population of Zapotec and Mixtec Indians and their pretty villages are well known for the beautiful crafts which they produce. The city of Oaxaca is a colonial city of plazas, courtyards and stone-built buildings. The surrounding area is dedicated to growing corn. High in the mountains is the ancient ceremonial center of Monte Alban, similar to the Mayan civilizations found elsewhere in Mexico. The region of Oaxaca also has a beautiful coastline with miles of sandy beaches.
Staying in a Oaxaca vacation rental is a very relaxing and easy way to enjoy a family vacation. A rental home gives more space than a standard hotel room, and a kitchen, cooking facilities and a full-size refrigerator are welcome amenities when catering for a family. Visiting the markets is just one of the local highlights, and it can be a great place to buy fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, tortillas and cheese for a cheap meal. Alternatively, use your rental home as a base and eat out at one of the reasonably priced restaurants nearby.
Condos in Oaxaca can be found within easy walking distance of the superb beaches. Enjoy beautiful views of the coastline or the mountainous backdrop, depending upon where you choose to stay. Vacation rentals can provide a quieter option for those looking for a relaxing vacation away from the bustling beachfront. With a vacation rental, the choice is yours!
