Great property, highly recommend.
"Such a wonderful property. Expertly maintained by local staff, Gaby and Zulma. They were so welcoming and we had a fantastic time. The house has four bedrooms in the main house and a fifth bedroom in the "casita," a smaller house on the other side of the lap pool. It's a little walk in to town, but we enjoyed the fact that it was farther away from the main tourist strip. You must have Zulma cook for you at least one night. The property manager, Monica, did a great job of meeting us when we arrived and providing recommendations on local activities and restaurants. We've rented many houses over the years and this one was definitely impressive. Excellent experience - highly recommend. For food we recommend the little lunch counter at Que Onda, La Lunita, and La Buena Vida. All very close to the house."

"Myself, my husband and our 2 Chihuahuas just spent 7 days here. It really is a beautiful spot in a great location for peace and quiet. we had a ground floor beach front 1 bedroom unit and it was great. We met lots of people from all over the place. It's off the beaten path but only minutes from the local collectivo. My only complaint is the bed needs upgrading as our back were sore after a coupe of nights and the kitchen appliances could use some upgrading. Minor stuff really. Oh and the roof top restaurant is not there. However they still have very good, reasonably priced food and a fun little swing bar steps away. We would definitely go back"

"Lovely little casita! Tucked away at ground level, no view but steps from the beach. The casita stays surprisingly cool throughout the day with the a/c on at night but off during the day while I was out. Clean and tidy, had everything I needed. Always felt safe and loved all the animals around. Got home one evening to find a coatimundi sitting in the flower bed of the patio, so cute. The beach and water has a lot of sargassum (as does much of the Caribbean these days) but the north end of the bay was clear and great for swimming or snorkeling. I would return to stay here! Loved dinners at La Buena Vida nearby. Great food and drinks!!"

"I rarely write reviews, in fact literally never, but this lovely condo on the beach was perfect for us. The condo was comfortable and well equipped and clean. The location is just perfect, less than 1 km from the lovely lagoon, Yal Ku, a short walk to several restaurants on the beach, and far enough away from the main center of Akumal (1 km walk) that it was quiet and untrafficked. There is a lot of seaweed washed up on the beach up and down the coast this year, which you have to walk on/through to get to the water, but that did not deter us! We had rented a car, and there is offstreet parking for La Bahia, so we were able to get around and see Coba and visit the nature park at Aktun Chen for ziplining, cenote swimming and a fantastic cave walk. Aktun Chen is about 10 minutes away from Akumal, and was a ton of fun for 2 moms with 2 teenage daughters! We'll be back!!"
