Perfect for family reunion
"The owner and house manager for Casa Kukulcan were extremely helpful in planning our trip. They both corresponded with us via email months in advance of our trip to help us find a local chef service and select a menu that was perfect for our group. Mealtime in the outdoor dining area was a big highlight of our trip. The house has amazing ocean views from every room, and with 4 large suites every couple had access to their own private bathroom and comfortable sleeping arrangements. The pool was the perfect size for the elementary-aged children in our family plus there was an extension for adult lap swimming. It was a short drive to Akumal where sea turtles were easy to spot and to Tulum to see the ruins. All of the grounds were beautifully maintained. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great vacation spot for several families."

"My third visit to Mexico ... but without a doubt, the best! Casa Cielo is situated in a secure neighborhood within easy commute of Cancun. The house itself is situated just steps from the beach and a refreshing blue pool. The garden offers plenty of privacy and a great mix of sun and shade. It didn't take long for our group to settle in and feel at home. There are plenty of windows throughout and soaring ceilings in the living area which make the space seem larger than the photos online. The furnishings were comfortable and I especially enjoyed the Mexican folk art throughout. We enjoyed several amazing meals prepared by staff there (don't pass up this opportunity), but also took advantage of some wonderful restaurants in nearby Akumal and Tulum. The house and garden were kept clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The owner was incredibly helpful in trip planning as was the house manager that is available once you check in. We were able to plan our own adventures without the nagging sales people you encounter at some of the all inclusive resorts. Upon recommendation, we finally visited Xel-Ha park and also had a wonderful pool side massage at the house. You really can enjoy yourselves without leaving the house. There are kayaks, hammocks, snorkel gear on site. My only complaint is that my schedule didn't allow me to stay longer!"

"This is a rental that you should consider. From the beginning the owner was responsive to all inquiries. The staff in the condo were responsive to any requests for assistance. The apartment was clean and well cared for. It was very comfortable with all of the accessories one might need. It is best for those who have a car or if you don't mind walking because the condo is about 2 km from the main road. Located right on Half Moon bay, good snorkeling
is a few steps from the front door and YA KUL inlet snorkeling park
is just a 10 minute walk away."

"La Bahia is a great building. Service from the property management team was top notch. The unit that we stayed in #3 is quaint. It is a little outdated but living space is comfortable. The bedrooms with their own bathrooms are a nice layout, however the beds are terrible. We were advised several times that the second bedroom could and would be setup with a king size bed (pushing the two singles together, etc) not only was this not done the beds aren't the same height and the mattresses are rock hard and the edges even worse, therefore when pushed together with no bumper or connection piece, makes for a very uncomfortable sleep. The king size bed in the other bedroom at least had a small foam on top but was still very hard and uncomfortable. We cooked during our stay and also had Chef Daveed cook for us (wonderful experience) and we had temperature trouble with the oven. Things took way longer. Also if you are wine drinkers, there was not one wine glass in the cupboards. All things considered, we loved Akumal and La Bahia and would recommend it to all! With new beds or better sleeping conditions we would definitely rent this condo again."
