  • Paradise!!

"From the moment we arrive until we left we felt right at home! We had all the comforts of home with an incredible view. The view alone is worth the stay. Roberto, the maid is excellent ! There is nothing he can't do. His cooking is delicious ! I would definitely stay here on my next trip to cancun. security is top notch and extremely helpful. We where able to enjoy the privacy and safety of this well maintained villa as well as the nightlife / fine dinning from neighboring 5 star hotels at our leisure. Every morning the private beach was maintained meticulously for us to enjoy. Definitely scores a 10 +. Nothing negative at all! Thank you mr Grebel !"

  • Perfect for a large family all under one roof

"Our family rented the Bahia Azul home for 11 days in March ’14 and we were very satisfied with the experience. It exceeded our expectations. It was important that our family of nine could all stay under one roof, have space, privacy and serve congregate meals. It is very difficult to find large rental accommodations in Cancun that would meet these criteria. When available they were far beyond our budget. We also wanted a location that would not isolate us from the Mexican community. Get out of the hotel zone and one can see the economic challenges Mexico and Cancun face. We wanted our children to experience this. The home’s location provided this while at the same time, security The home is in a middle class diverse gated community of Mexican, Americans and Canadians. The five-bedrooms/five baths are located on three floors. The fourth floor is the very charming rooftop patio with a commanding view of the Cancun skyline and an ocean view at a greater distance. We did not rent a car and were very glad we did not. The home is located an easy 18 minute walk to the ferry service to Isla Mujeres. This was our choice for an exquisite beach experience and went there on three separate days. My wife and I took an $8 peso ($.60 US) city bus ride to the hotel zone for a beach day and was perhaps the quicker and less hassle decision over driving and parking a car. On the two occasions we went grocery shopping a bus ride got us to the Super Mercado and a cab ride transported us and multi bags of groceries back home. If renters aren’t interested in cooking their own meals the choices of walk able restaurants is limited and a car would be necessary. The car rental process in Mexico is frustrating and expensive. Cabs, tour buses and walking served all our needs well. We scheduled three adventure tours during our stay and the tour companies picked us up at the Sea Adventure Hotel two miles away. A $3 (US) cab ride brought us to the hotel. On the return trip the tour buses dropped us off three blocks from the Bahia Azul gate. Scott, the resident caretaker was most accommodating, detail oriented and helpful. Our family had for different arrival times and he arranged airport transport for all of us. All the communication between the owner, Michael, and Scott was timely, detailed and helpful. Trina, an American owner of Cancun Drive, provided excellent and reasonably priced airport shuttle service. The home has Wi-Fi service allowing for email."

  • Great Girl's Getaway

"I am a travel professional and recently booked this property for clients doing a girls' getaway. The three ladies had nothing but rave reviews ... the unit was beautifully decorated and maintained, perfectly located, pool and beach stunning. They were thrilled with every aspect of their stay -- and I would add that the management was great to work with and extremely responsive. I will definitely recommend this unit to other clients looking for a great beachfront getaway in the area."

"Crystal clear warm water. Incredible views. Gorgeous sandy beach. Perfectly situated. Amazing security on the property. 5 minute walk to the entertainment centre (Coco Bongo is a must!) Señor Frogs just closed across the street but moved a 5 minute walk up to the entertainment centre. This is good because the condo is very quiet now at night. Hop on the R2 bus and go to Walmart and Costco for your groceries. Nice gas stove for cooking. Great poolside bar with great prices. They will serve you drinks or guacamole by the pool or on the chairs on the beach. You can arrange to have a massage over at the workout centre for $30US for 50 minutes. There is a 24 hour pharmacy right on the street out front, a convenience store and a restaurant called Natura. They are building a grocery store right up by Plaza Caracol. Also a 5 minute walk is a great spa called Bamboo for manicures, pedicures and facials. 10 pesos to ride the bus…take them everywhere, taxis are not necessary. Make sure you book your transportation from the airport from home before you arrive."
