"We were so happy when we walked through your place and out on to the balcony. We truly found paradise and wished that we could have stayed another week. Our experience in Playa Del Carmen was not so great. Our cute little boutique condo was 1/2 block from the clubs playing their music until 6AM. then every drunk walking down the street shouting to talk to each other (Ear and Brain damage) Anyway we will not go back to Playa DC, every 25 years is enough for me. Doris is my idea of all inclusive and was a dream and I hope that Darcy didn't drive her crazy with her Spanish lessons every morning. We had dinner downtown ($1 bus ride) at Ronaldi's(we were the only tourists there and it was packed with local families)and El Roncin Vino, Just get off by the Round a bout with the giant sea shells, all of the restaurants are near there. We did walk (10 min from villa) down the street to La Novia with the huts on the docks and was very yummy food and wine, the sunsets were incredible (Make reservations for tables on the docks). I already miss being lulled to sleep with the waves all night long, but it's back to reality. We are already planning our next trip to your place, possible with more people and rent the whole place. I have to start putting money away for my Villa 8 retirement plan. I am writing this review under protest as I do not want you to get booked up and save you for myself, I am selfish that way."

"We spent a week at Villas Marlin and had a great vacation. We spent most of our days at the beach and the swimming pools. Great surf, crystal clear water, and soft white sand beaches. Our 2 kids (age 6 & 4) loved the surf but they are on the more adventurous side and love the water. We were fine without a car. Did one big shopping trip at Walmart via the bus ( about 1/2 hour) on our first day and then picked up other grocery items almost on a daily basis in the grocery store in the mall literally right across the rear drive of Villas Marlin. Very convenient. We did a couple excursions during the week. A trip to Puerto Morelos ($25-$30 cab ride each way) to go snorkeling on protected coral reefs (the kids did great - 1st time snorkeling) and a day trip to Isla mujeres - rented a golf cart for the day to get around the island. A number of good local restaurants within walking distance and can take bus or cab to the busier hotel areas. Everything was very convenient. My only wish was that it was more walkable. Restaurants along a very busy road which made me a little nervous with little kids. But we got along fine. Overall a very good vacation and Unit 324 was very nice, comfortable, well maintained and updated with a great kitchen and a great view of the ocean, beach, and pools."

"My sister and I stayed for my birthday just last week, and we have to admit that we were pleasantly surprised at everything! It is a gorgeous property, quaint and tucked away (for Cancun). The actual condo is adorable, its small and pretty and was perfect for the two of us. It's EXACTLY like the pictures. We were provided with much more than we expected (towels, kitchen utensils, even a pen from the maintenance guys!), and we were really pleased with the scenery. It's directly next to a beach (and the party did not seem to stop the entire time we were there haha), and the condo location is right on the water so the view was breathtaking. It is very close to the ferry to Isla Mujeres and we got around for pretty cheap through the bus system and taxi. We cooked almost everyday, but when we did venture out into the city for food we were not disappointed (this coming from a VERY picky vegetarian). We had an unfortunate mishap with our phone and cash being stolen on the beach in Mujeres but I promise you coming back to the condo and relaxing by the pool made us feel a lot less... annoyed haha. Natalia was quite sweet and was more than happy to assist us with anything, but the sentiment was more than enough. Moving on, things were way more expensive in the hotel district, so we were so happy to be staying a bit away from the city. Just a short 20 or so minutes to the main attractions. Overall, it was a relaxing trip and I am so happy we chose to stay in Natalia's place.
P.s. We saw a newborn baby bird right outside of the bedroom window- still in the nest, and it was amazing to see it grow everyday! Lots of Iguanas are around as well! They seem friendly, but we didn't want to find out haha! Enjoy and you will not be disappointed!"

"When I arrived I was greeted by Carmen who set me up in the condo. The condo provides all the things you need to cook as well as a full size fridge. It has movie channels and wifi, also nice air conditioning too. The bathroom has a spacious walkin shower with lots of pressure and hot water. The compound has a great spacious pool with lots of room to relax, and it has a real nice beach close to the ocean, and if you go out about 10 pm you watch the sea turtles laying eggs. The condo itself is nice for two people and it has a nice comfortable bed. Karen, the owner, it a pleasure to deal with and will make sure your visit is smooth. Thanks Karen . It is also situated on a main bus route and for 10.05 pesos you ride for as far as you need to go. Take the time to go visit and explore the city of Cancun not just the party spots. It was a great relaxing vacation."
