  • Nice getaway! Allergy Free!! AND SEA TURTLES!!!!

"My husband and I spent a week here in July and found this condo at Cancun Plaza exactly as advertised. It is a studio, but they have maximized the space. The pool was comfortable, the ocean a few steps away and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus to go to town. Once we went to the store, using the microwave and hot plate, we were able to prepare breakfast and lunch in the condo every day to save money. The restaurant is OK (not great) in a pinch and there is a burger place across the street that is pretty good (shrimp fajitas were great). Late at night we were able to watch (quietly, in the dark, SEVERAL YARDS away, no flash photography AT ALL) Sea Turtles come up on land, drag themselves inland, bury themselves, lay eggs, dig out and crawl back into the sea (about a three hour process). It was amazing. There are two convenience stores for water and sodas and snacks. Carmen (the on site manager) was amazing and super responsive and helpful and the homeowners answered all of our questions right away. There is no smoking, feather pillows or pets allowed here so I did not have any allergy problems. I would just recommend bringing your own detergent if you are hyper-sensitive and will need to do laundry. All in all, great experience. Would recommend to anyone who does not mind being the only Americans on site (it was actually quite nice)."

  • first time to visit Cancun Mexico

"We had a fabulous time, your home was absolutely gorgeous and it was just as the pictures described it. We thought that the staff was very accommodating and was nice to know that they were on duty round the clock for security. The big grocery store right across the street was great, we did a lot of stops over there. We were very pleased with the location we could walk to about everywhere we wanted to see and the boat to go across to the Island was right next door. I would recommend not to buy the excursions from the people who sell it randomly we went online and booked our own at Wet and Wild much cheaper and my kids were able to swim with dolphins water slides and a lazy river and included food and beverages all day. We would definitely go back! Thanks again and if we ever get a chance to go to Hawaii I would contact you for a place to stay there.. Have a great day and thank you again for letting us enjoy your lovely home...""

  • My ideal "All Inclusive" Resort

"We were so happy when we walked through your place and out on to the balcony. We truly found paradise and wished that we could have stayed another week. Our experience in Playa Del Carmen was not so great. Our cute little boutique condo was 1/2 block from the clubs playing their music until 6AM. then every drunk walking down the street shouting to talk to each other (Ear and Brain damage) Anyway we will not go back to Playa DC, every 25 years is enough for me. Doris is my idea of all inclusive and was a dream and I hope that Darcy didn't drive her crazy with her Spanish lessons every morning. We had dinner downtown ($1 bus ride) at Ronaldi's(we were the only tourists there and it was packed with local families)and El Roncin Vino, Just get off by the Round a bout with the giant sea shells, all of the restaurants are near there. We did walk (10 min from villa) down the street to La Novia with the huts on the docks and was very yummy food and wine, the sunsets were incredible (Make reservations for tables on the docks). I already miss being lulled to sleep with the waves all night long, but it's back to reality. We are already planning our next trip to your place, possible with more people and rent the whole place. I have to start putting money away for my Villa 8 retirement plan. I am writing this review under protest as I do not want you to get booked up and save you for myself, I am selfish that way."
