  • An excellent hidden gem in Cancun!

"This is a wonderful condo in north Cancun that keeps you out of the hustle of the usual Hotel Zone thrash. Susie graciously worked with our party of five on extremely short notice when our original rental in Puerto Morelos ended up an un-airconditioned nightmare. She was wonderful to deal with on the phone and ensured our arrival went without a hitch. Her on-site property manager, Bego, had the condo cleaned and spotless when we arrived. We had booked a house in Puerto Morelos for our daughter's graduation summer trip that turned out to be not what was expected. After a frantic search on VRBO we discovered this truly hidden gem. The online pictures truly don't do it justice. The two main bedrooms are perfectly sized with their own bathrooms and the third is great for kids as it has bunk beds and it's own ensuite bath as well. The kitchen works well with every sort of utensil and small appliance you could ask for. The main dining table seats 8 and leads into the main living space. The two sectionals are crazy comfy and are perfect for viewing the large flat screen TV. The second floor view of the complex is delightful and the green waters of the Caribbean are a hundred yards away. Oh, and did I mention the Carrier air conditioners? They're fabulous and keep the condo as cool as you want with no fuss. The real secret of this complex is the pool, garden and grounds. The grounds are meticulously maintained by conscientious workers and lead to a fabulous pool with a shallow walk-in that leads to a 4.5' deep pool perfect for kids and adults alike. There are dozens of chaise lounges around the perimeter of the pool on the ocean side as well as under shaded wooden pergolas. A large palapa has a restaurant available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's fabulous as well. The pool overlooks the ocean and is open until 11:00 pm, great for a nighttime dip. Security is flawless and friendly. There are security guards at each entrance and roaming guards on site who ensure you feel safe at every turn. Everyone we encountered was extremely professional and truly enjoyed their job. My wife commented that she felt completely safe during our entire stay. The condo is spacious and truly a high-end experience. The furnishings, decor and appointments made the week so very memorable and enjoyable. Don't miss out on the glowing tree in the living room! If you want a relaxing week, stay here and avoid the hassle of the Hotel Zone!"

  • Nice getaway! Allergy Free!! AND SEA TURTLES!!!!

"My husband and I spent a week here in July and found this condo at Cancun Plaza exactly as advertised. It is a studio, but they have maximized the space. The pool was comfortable, the ocean a few steps away and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus to go to town. Once we went to the store, using the microwave and hot plate, we were able to prepare breakfast and lunch in the condo every day to save money. The restaurant is OK (not great) in a pinch and there is a burger place across the street that is pretty good (shrimp fajitas were great). Late at night we were able to watch (quietly, in the dark, SEVERAL YARDS away, no flash photography AT ALL) Sea Turtles come up on land, drag themselves inland, bury themselves, lay eggs, dig out and crawl back into the sea (about a three hour process). It was amazing. There are two convenience stores for water and sodas and snacks. Carmen (the on site manager) was amazing and super responsive and helpful and the homeowners answered all of our questions right away. There is no smoking, feather pillows or pets allowed here so I did not have any allergy problems. I would just recommend bringing your own detergent if you are hyper-sensitive and will need to do laundry. All in all, great experience. Would recommend to anyone who does not mind being the only Americans on site (it was actually quite nice)."

  • Mi casa es Su casa!! = Priceless!!!!

"Have you been angry because of a late flight? Or, arrival late because of immigration or any set-back? OKAY, Let me tell you....We arrived very early in the day and Guillermo and his staff were at the house preparing for our very early arrival... The fridge was full of cold beer, juice, fruit, eggs, butter, etc. and many condiments... If you need more groceries, The Cheduriil grocery store or XOXO is very close. Just so you know, We are spoiled timeshare owners..but let me tell you, waking up in your beach ware and spending the day grilling and making the house your home is priceless .We became fast friends with the "gate guys". they made sure we were safe at all times. My brother who was staying at a hotel near us during the same time we were renting the house, My brothers girlfriend, lost her passport and immigration form.. Guillermo gave us instructions on what to do and where to go.. He even came to the police station to meet us. Bearing in mind..this was not a occupant, just a friend of his renter, We have nothing but nice things to say about Guillermo. We are actually trying to rent from Guillermo in the next couple of weeks. If you want to feel secure in your rental and make friends for life.. Rent from Guillermo!"

  • Vacation in paradise

"We stayed in this condo for a week in June 2014. It is lovely with large spacious rooms, comfortable furniture and beds, and a well equipped kitchen. The location is fabulous. It is walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the bus stop to take you anywhere else is just outside the complex. The pool area, workout facility and beach are all at your footsteps with friendly security guards to help at any time. The owner went out of her way to be helpful as we planned our trip. We plan on returning next year."

Punta Cancun Travel Tips

Pure Fun Day and Night in Punta Cancun Villas

Known as the “Party Zone” and translated as Cancun Point, Punta Cancun is the perfect destination for a fun-filled Mexican adventure. During the day, go shopping, swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing outside your Punta Cancun villas and then live it up by partaking in the area’s lively nightlife. Do not worry, even if you do not go out and party all night, Punta Cancun lodging is still a great choice as there is fun for the whole family. Many Cancun resorts even cater to family fun and can help you plan your days once you arrive.

The Nightlife near Punta Cancun Villas

There is a reason why so many college students choose Cancun for spring break–-the nightlife! At night, the area becomes alive with laser lights, music, and people dancing in the streets. It is truly a sight to see, so be sure to venture out from your Punta Cancun lodging to check it out. The downtown area is a hub of entertainment filled with restaurants, clubs, and a carnival atmosphere. A stay in any Cancun resort is incomplete without at least one late night, even if you are not a college kid on spring break!

Daytime Fun at Punta Cancun Lodging

Cancun is not only known for its nightlife, but the things you can do during the day as well. With such wonderful weather and gorgeous scenery, why stay cooped up in Punta Cancun lodging all day? Get out and swim in the beautiful turquoise waters and lay on the powdery white sand. If a day at the beach is not your desire during your stay in Cancun resorts, why not head over to the markets or La Isla? When shopping in the open markets, be sure to wear your haggling hat, as you will need to bargain to get the right prices. But the treasures to be found are amazing! La Isla is a large outdoor shopping mall filled with worldwide brands and restaurants.

Experience Mexico during Your Stay in Cancun Resorts

Though staying in Punta Cancun villas will afford you a little luxury and tourist time, it will also allow you to interact with Mexico and get a taste of its culture and history. You will also get to see nature as you have not before. The Interactive Aquarium is located just minutes from most Punta Cancun villas and lets you get up close and personal with aquatic life. Pet sting rays, starfish, and nurse sharks-–you can even swim with the dolphins if you want! If you would like to see a bit of history, take a day trip to Chichen Itza, one of the best ancient Mayan ruins sites in the area.
