  • Fantastic Stay

"The condo was exactly as described with everything you need for a perfectly relaxing vacation. The view from the third floor was truly stunning. Since this condo is an end unit the view was certainly better than most within the complex. Diana was very easy to work with and answered any/all questions in a very timely manner. Fredy, her on-site manager, was very easy to work with and was available to resolve any issues or concerns. We utilized Fredy's service to stock the kitchen prior to our arrival which was a great service. Arriving to all your drinks and food already in the condo was a nice feature. The complex itself was well kept and the pools were extremely nice. Never a crowd and the poolside beds (only 50 pesos a day) were incredible. Nothing like relaxing by the pool in your own bed (shaded if you wanted) while sipping your favorite cool beverage. Four of the days we were there the in-pool bar was open which was a very nice feature as well. We utilized the gym which was well furnished with treadmills, stair climbers, stationery bicycles, weight machines and dumbbells. The condo is situated in the best part of the hotel zone. We walked to all the best restaurants, shopping and night life Cancun had to offer. We truly enjoyed getting out into the town and meeting the locals. Calypso is a very quaint restaurant just across the street which served incredible fish and lobster dishes at a very reasonable price. Mocambos, another restaurant just beside the condo complex is also a very good seafood restaurant. The atmosphere here is more formal and the view is directly onto the gulf. Overall we had a great time. We are already planning on when we can return. Highly recommend renting from Diana if you are thinking about going to Cancun. Our family has been to Cancun several times but always at an all inclusive resort. Now that we have done both now we really like the freedom and room afforded by staying in a large condo."

  • Great property!

"The actual property looks much better than the pictures posted on this site. It is absolutely gorgeous. We were pleasantly surprised! The condo is very clean, the beach is nearby, within walking distance, and the pools on the property are huge! My friends and I stayed for 5 days and we literally had the pools to ourselves. The condo is fully stocked with everything you need, from cooking utensils to laundry detergent to toilet paper! The property staff is very friendly. Alvin, the owner, was very patient in answering all of my many questions. Ernesto, the property manager, was very kind and patient as well. He continued to offer his services throughout our entire stay, making our trip very comfortable. I definitely recommend renting this property. I will definitely come back. Alvin and Ernesto - thank you so much for your help and hospitality! It is greatly appreciated."

  • Great place to stay in Cancun!!!

"We stayed for a week in this well equipped, beautifully decorated apartment. It is very conveniently located with the direct access to the beach and swimming pools. Supermarket and grocery stores are very close by taxi, and it costs from $3 to $5 to get there. Natalia and Ioachim live on the same property and are very friendly. They gave us all the necessary information on where to buy our food, transportation, places to visit. We would love to return to this beautiful apartment for our next stay in Cancun. Thank you so much Natalia and Ioachim!"

  • Perfect for a large family all under one roof

"Our family rented the Bahia Azul home for 11 days in March ’14 and we were very satisfied with the experience. It exceeded our expectations. It was important that our family of nine could all stay under one roof, have space, privacy and serve congregate meals. It is very difficult to find large rental accommodations in Cancun that would meet these criteria. When available they were far beyond our budget. We also wanted a location that would not isolate us from the Mexican community. Get out of the hotel zone and one can see the economic challenges Mexico and Cancun face. We wanted our children to experience this. The home’s location provided this while at the same time, security The home is in a middle class diverse gated community of Mexican, Americans and Canadians. The five-bedrooms/five baths are located on three floors. The fourth floor is the very charming rooftop patio with a commanding view of the Cancun skyline and an ocean view at a greater distance. We did not rent a car and were very glad we did not. The home is located an easy 18 minute walk to the ferry service to Isla Mujeres. This was our choice for an exquisite beach experience and went there on three separate days. My wife and I took an $8 peso ($.60 US) city bus ride to the hotel zone for a beach day and was perhaps the quicker and less hassle decision over driving and parking a car. On the two occasions we went grocery shopping a bus ride got us to the Super Mercado and a cab ride transported us and multi bags of groceries back home. If renters aren’t interested in cooking their own meals the choices of walk able restaurants is limited and a car would be necessary. The car rental process in Mexico is frustrating and expensive. Cabs, tour buses and walking served all our needs well. We scheduled three adventure tours during our stay and the tour companies picked us up at the Sea Adventure Hotel two miles away. A $3 (US) cab ride brought us to the hotel. On the return trip the tour buses dropped us off three blocks from the Bahia Azul gate. Scott, the resident caretaker was most accommodating, detail oriented and helpful. Our family had for different arrival times and he arranged airport transport for all of us. All the communication between the owner, Michael, and Scott was timely, detailed and helpful. Trina, an American owner of Cancun Drive, provided excellent and reasonably priced airport shuttle service. The home has Wi-Fi service allowing for email."
