"When we landed in Cancun we had rented a car, that took almost 2 hours waiting for the car. I would suggest renting a taxi! The way they drive in Cancun is crazy, its like a free for all. We found the Villa, it was beautiful and so private and peacefull. Eduardo showed us the house and outside, he told us about several places to go. We went to the island one day the kids went snorkeling, held a shark, seen the historical side of the island. The water is beautiful. One day my husband and son went deep sea fishing. The Villa has everything you will need, privacy and relaxing! Brizia is a sweetheart, I could have taken her home! Thank Eduardo!"

"The pictures of Marty's beautiful home are even better in person. Each year, a group of friends for well over a decade take a trip. We wanted a lower key option than the hustle and bustle of the hotels. This fit the bill. From the moment you walk in, the only words that come to mind are WOW and AMAZING! Marty did a wonderful job on the remodel of his Villa. Even the Property Brothers from HGTV wouldn't be able to find anything that needs improving. The views from the patio and the balconies are postcard perfect. The Villa is stocked with modern day appliances, a gas grill, TVs, and Wifi. The beach access is amazing and with very few people on that end of the beach. Snorkeling was a fantastic and easy from the beach. A short walk on the beach will get you to Jet Ski rentals and Parasailing. The staff at the guarded front gate were very friendly. They helped us catch the bus in front of the property or hail a taxi. They even suggested eating places and came and got us at night to help release the baby sea turtles in the ocean. There is a conveinent store right across the street. A supermarket is a short bus ride to the mall. Now on to Guillermina and Roberto who take care of the Villa. They come everyday but Sunday. They are so helpful and friendly. They answered any questions we had and had suggestions for excursions to do. Our last night, the 8 of us sat at the large table and all were beyond thrilled with our first trip to Cancun. This will not be our last trip and we will definitely be back to this Villa!"

"This studio is just the right size for two people. It is clean and bright, but most of all it has the best balcony and inside view. You get a covered, private balcony with view of the ocean and the lagoon. At night you can see the beach lit up with private candlelight dinners, cruiseships sailing past and during the day watch the activity. But by activity it is not 'busy' at all by my standards. The beach isn't littered with lots of boats and sellers of various goods and activities. You'll see some parasailing and jet skiis. Not a lot. The beach also is nice and quiet. By that I mean you can walk down the entire beach and not hear 20 different beach bars playing various party music. There is one club next door that plays music from time to time. However I went during the Mexican spring school holiday and there were only spanish tourists staying at Cancun Plaza and nearby. That started to change by the end of the week. So perhaps the atmosphere will change.
I was very happy with having the airport transfers arranged for us. Especially when we landed. Oy! How confusing is it when you get out of the airport? Very. Everyone is trying to grab your luggage. I could firmly say "No. I have a Yellow Taxi" Then when we saw the sign with our names on it, it was a relief to have a reliable driver take us to the condo.
Fran is very personable and helpful during the entire process of booking and during the stay. She even arranged to have my hubby's birthday celebration even more special! Thanks so much Fran:)
The location of the condo was perfect for me. I do like nightlife like going to Coco Bongo, but I don't need to stay close to it. We hopped on and off the main bus constantly. It passes by all the time, and even in between stops the bus will honk at you to ask if you need them. Awesome! I enjoyed La Isla Mall the most and you can walk to it. Its only 4km or 3ish miles. Next to it is my favourite place for wine - La Europa, and next to that is a hidden gem La Fish Fritanga. It looks like a sidewalk take-away, yes it is. Just go down the stairs beside it and it leads you to the main restaurant situated on the beach. Inexpensive, simple food. Nice setting. Next to that is a cigar bar. You might not like cigars, but they also have a wonderful range of tequilas and best atmosphere. Its like stepping into Havana, Cuba. Tropical, old world, classy. Across the street from condo: '19.5km' (name of restaurant) best burgers ever! Huge! 'Navios' Restaurant for Romance."

"I want to preface my review, that my husband and I own 2 vacation rentals on the Big Island of Hawaii and I own my own Vacation Rental business and handle over 40 more condo rentals so I am stating that so that the Review I am about to give for this condo comes with 14 years of experience..When we arrived And were on our way to the condo we noticed it was quite a distance to town but arrived at the condo safely. Natalia met us and helped us to the condo with our bags, etc and showed us around. The condo was clean and has that Mexican Flare to it but that is kind of where it ended for us. We asked Natalia for some restaurant suggestions nearby as we wanted to walk to them and not have to take a Taxi as we did not rent a car. Her comment was I don't really know because I don't eat out as she is allergic to Fish. Then she said, one of my guests said they ate at a restaurant nearby, but she couldn't remember the name but she thought the name had the word "green" in it. We felt She still should have had suggestions. So that evening we started walking to find a restaurant and passed by the beach next to the condo and it was dirty and noticed a lot of "Locals" hang out there and there always seemed to have Policia (Police) standing by. Anyway we could not find any restaurant with the word green in it, None I would eat at anyway. But we came to a much Nicer Looking Restaurant called "Madingas" so we had dinner there and loved it. We ate there 4 times during our stay. The food is great, Margarita's were great. Service was great even though they speak very little English and I will say more about that later in this Review.
Now back to the condo: ANTS: As time wore on during our 2 week stay the condo is inhabited by "No see um or Sugar ants". They bite and they are everywhere. All over the counters, the table and they are outside the condo too. We went through and checked things out, the pots and: We went through and checked things out, the pots and pans need to be replaced as the Teflon is coming off and we did not want to ingest Teflon so we bought A fry pan on our first trip to Walmart. The utensils like spatulas, etc need to be replaced. But we made do with those items. We realize it is a vacation rental but even though we are on vacation we expect quality cookware and utensils. They were odds and ends of those items, nothing matched. We supply our rentals with top of the line, not bottom of the line of those items. Most Taxis don't speak English."
