  • Great property!

"The actual property looks much better than the pictures posted on this site. It is absolutely gorgeous. We were pleasantly surprised! The condo is very clean, the beach is nearby, within walking distance, and the pools on the property are huge! My friends and I stayed for 5 days and we literally had the pools to ourselves. The condo is fully stocked with everything you need, from cooking utensils to laundry detergent to toilet paper! The property staff is very friendly. Alvin, the owner, was very patient in answering all of my many questions. Ernesto, the property manager, was very kind and patient as well. He continued to offer his services throughout our entire stay, making our trip very comfortable. I definitely recommend renting this property. I will definitely come back. Alvin and Ernesto - thank you so much for your help and hospitality! It is greatly appreciated."

  • Simply Amazing

"My wife and I stayed here for 1 week and absolutely loved it! The other reviewers were right, the "Combi" (mini bus) stops anywhere you flag it down right on the same street as the condo; which takes you to downtown Cancun. The apartment was beautifully decorated, had a wonderful wind tunnel with the windows open, working A/C units, and a beautiful view of the ocean right out of the back patio. It was very relaxing in the condo area with a beach directly next to the condo. If you want it, it is also an adventurous experience to check out Cancun's downtown, or expeditions through the people's vendors. Thank you Natalia and family for the wonderful experience!"

  • Amazing place in an amazing location!!!!!!!!

"We had an amazing vacation at the Casa Maya Playa! The condo was even better than it was adverstised. Located on the ground floor was so relaxing to walk out on the patio, jump into the pool, or jump into the Ocean. The place was also located conveniently where you could walk to shops and restaurants. The condo was spacious and very clean. Suggest to rent the cabanas by the pool side which were just $5 and get a Mojito from the pool bar on the weekends, he makes an exceleent drink:) The owner Michel and the property manager are very nice and made the stay spectacular. We can't wait to get back...."

  • Perfect for a large family all under one roof

"Our family rented the Bahia Azul home for 11 days in March ’14 and we were very satisfied with the experience. It exceeded our expectations. It was important that our family of nine could all stay under one roof, have space, privacy and serve congregate meals. It is very difficult to find large rental accommodations in Cancun that would meet these criteria. When available they were far beyond our budget. We also wanted a location that would not isolate us from the Mexican community. Get out of the hotel zone and one can see the economic challenges Mexico and Cancun face. We wanted our children to experience this. The home’s location provided this while at the same time, security The home is in a middle class diverse gated community of Mexican, Americans and Canadians. The five-bedrooms/five baths are located on three floors. The fourth floor is the very charming rooftop patio with a commanding view of the Cancun skyline and an ocean view at a greater distance. We did not rent a car and were very glad we did not. The home is located an easy 18 minute walk to the ferry service to Isla Mujeres. This was our choice for an exquisite beach experience and went there on three separate days. My wife and I took an $8 peso ($.60 US) city bus ride to the hotel zone for a beach day and was perhaps the quicker and less hassle decision over driving and parking a car. On the two occasions we went grocery shopping a bus ride got us to the Super Mercado and a cab ride transported us and multi bags of groceries back home. If renters aren’t interested in cooking their own meals the choices of walk able restaurants is limited and a car would be necessary. The car rental process in Mexico is frustrating and expensive. Cabs, tour buses and walking served all our needs well. We scheduled three adventure tours during our stay and the tour companies picked us up at the Sea Adventure Hotel two miles away. A $3 (US) cab ride brought us to the hotel. On the return trip the tour buses dropped us off three blocks from the Bahia Azul gate. Scott, the resident caretaker was most accommodating, detail oriented and helpful. Our family had for different arrival times and he arranged airport transport for all of us. All the communication between the owner, Michael, and Scott was timely, detailed and helpful. Trina, an American owner of Cancun Drive, provided excellent and reasonably priced airport shuttle service. The home has Wi-Fi service allowing for email."
