"We are from CA and booked a last minute getaway and chose the Qunitana Roo area because Hawaii had hurricanes at the time. Neither of us had been to that part of Mexico. We found this condo and it had great reviews. All the reviews are true, it's an exceptional condo and property.
We went during off season and we were the only ones at the Villas so once we got past wondering what the catch was we settled in for a week of relaxation. The view is amazing, the grounds are well maintained, aside from some pool tile that needs some repairs. The people were very nice and balanced well between leaving us alone and making sure our needs were met. The local people in Puerto Morelos are very nice and we were there for the Mexican Independence Day celebration and chose to get a local experience over flocking to tourist spots. It was really fantastic. We are vegan so there were good restaurant choices in town and a grocery nearby.
I only have two small nits. One was that the fridge was out of commission in the condo which we were bummed about because we expected to cook more meals for ourselves. However, they had a small fridge bright in, counter sized and we were given access to use one in one of the other rooms to store our stuff. Not a deal breaker for us alone but could have been if we had brought kids.
The second problem was the seaweed. Read up on it before you go. The Villas staff cleaned it one day but honestly it's a full time job for about 10 people. We walked on beaches at a resort, in Playa and Paradise Beach in Tulum and this is a major problem for the entire area. That Caribbean blue in pictures is now brownish yellow and the beaches are piled high with the stuff. Workers are using heavy equipment and nets to try to control it but it's not possible. We opted to settle back at the villa with the infinity pool to ourselves and one patch of beach that was relatively under control. It's really sad to see and doesn't smell great either.
Again, the condo was amazing. If I were in the market to buy one, it would be this one! Don't miss Chitza Itza, we rented a car and drove ourselves it was super easy. There are tolls so bring pesos."

"We have stayed for a month in this comfortable Condo the previous 2 years and are booked in for another month in March of next year. The security personnel are friendly and helpful when you need a hand. The condo is clean and well equipped with appliances, tv, internet and more. Location is perfect as there is a Mega store a block away, fish markets, vegetable markets, restaurants and laundry services within 3 blocks. The condo is equipped with a new washer and dryer and the balcony is a great place to relax. This 2nd level condo is quiet and the pool is refreshing and well maintained. Most of the residents in the condo complex have been coming back for several years and usually stay for 3-6 months. The beach and Mamitas Beach Bar is a leisurely 5-7 minute walk. 5th Ave is 4 blocks away and the street that the condo is on is quiet and not subject to a lot of traffic. The property manager is very helpful should you need any information on Playa or any concerns with the condo. The condo owners are very friendly and decorate the condo with beautiful paintings, pictures and ornaments. We have stayed at other places in Playa and this condo is the best."

"We stayed in Casita Isladise for 9 days in August 2015. For the months leading up to our stay at Caribbean Casa we probably looked at the photos of the house just about everyday leading up to going on the trip. But the photos don't do the casa any justice. When we walked in and could see the ocean through the glass back door we were blown away. I knew we were pretty much on top of the water since we've been to the island several times and knew the location. But experiencing it is much different. The balcony off the living room was great, we'd hang out on it during the day. And at night we'd go to the balcony facing the Caribbean side off the master bedroom or the side facing Cancun. In the four previous visits to Isla I had never seen the sunset until we stayed at Casa Isladise. The view from the rooftop was incredible, every night we'd make sure we were back at the casa to watch the sunset. The house was great though, had everything you could possibly need and more. The kitchen was outfitted with anything and everything. And we loved the character and décor in the house. The casa is extremely comfortable, I felt like I was at home the minute we walked inside. My wife actually turned to me and acknowledged what a great job I did finding the casa. I could go on and on about how great the house is but I don't have time and enough characters remaining. If your looking for a great getaway that's not crazy expensive and has million dollar views, Caribbean Casa is perfect. I'll definitely be back in the future! Thanks Cori and Pedro!"

"We stayed here for four days and had to drag ourselves away when it was time to move on! Perfect location right on the water, small block of condos so the gorgeous pool isn't crowed. Diving board into the crystal clear ocean and amazing snorkeling. Has everything you need from a lovely and well stocked kitchen to delightfully comfy beds, good wifi and a huge DVD collection. The owners are really helpful and quick with correspondence.
It was perfect for complete relazation!"
