"When we first arrived we were thrilled with the amenities and the security, the views were breathtaking and the condo was very well kept, and the kitchen had all that we needed to make easy meals. If we were to go again, this is what I would bring: my own pillow ( just like down better), ask for extra blankets, and make sure the washer/dryer was fixed :)
Also, if you are expecting a beach property, its not that type of area. Cozumel's main drag with all the stores and restaurants are on this side of the island, the other side with the beaches doesn't have hotels or condos. So enjoy the pool and the diving, and this condo.
Lastly, there weren't a ton of kids, like a hotel so if you think you are going to have playmates for yours, choose a hotel instead."

"Myself, my husband and our 2 Chihuahuas just spent 7 days here. It really is a beautiful spot in a great location for peace and quiet. we had a ground floor beach front 1 bedroom unit and it was great. We met lots of people from all over the place. It's off the beaten path but only minutes from the local collectivo. My only complaint is the bed needs upgrading as our back were sore after a coupe of nights and the kitchen appliances could use some upgrading. Minor stuff really. Oh and the roof top restaurant is not there. However they still have very good, reasonably priced food and a fun little swing bar steps away. We would definitely go back"

"Our family of 5 had a perfect stay here - the view when you walk in the door is better than the pictures! Staff was very friendly and helpful and the property is in perfect condition and well-managed with full maid service every day. The only thing to note is that you must climb several flights of stairs to get to the unit so it may not be for everyone. Overall a fantastic value and we would return in a heartbeat!"

"We stayed at Casa Alcazar for a week in February 2015 to celebrate my father's 75th birthday and my stepdaughter's 25th birthday. We ranged in age from 11 to 75, and the home was absolutely perfect for our group of 8. We loved the communal spaces! The outdoor patio and garden, the dining room and kitchen, the open air lounge between the upstairs rooms, and to the bird's nest balcony were such wonderful gathering spots for all of us. The uppermost balcony is probably not suited for very young children or elderly, but was fine for our group. The pool is only a few steps away, the tennis courts and beach only about a 5 minute walk. The beach is quieter than the surrounding resorts areas and we did not feel a need to use the adjacent resort at all. The owner was beyond gracious in managing a scheduling challenge prior to our arrival and went above and beyond to help us. Ulla was a perfect host, and not only helped make our stay more comfortable but helped us pick perfect experiences for our family. A highlight was a gourmet meal prepared out the house by Chef Paco that featured regional cuisine and made for a perfect celebratory dinner. We had no trouble during our stay but the couple of times we needed to reach Ulla she was immediately responsive. We would highly recommend and so grateful that we enjoyed such a memorable family experience!"
