  • A wonderful week in paradise!

"My husband and two children and I had a great time at Casa Cereza. Sabine is so nice and willing to help in any situation. She made all our arrangements, including transport to and from Cancun, had our golf cart waiting, lined up individual boat trips for us with people she knows and got us the best prices. Her cafe is wonderful and she packed delicious picnics for us on home-made bread. I highly recommend the quail egg omelet, from Sabine's backyard quails. There is horseback riding just a couple of properties down the beach, and Alejandro and Dora (horse owners) are super nice. We really enjoyed a boat trip with a friend of Sabine's; first we fished and then he made ceviche with the fish we had caught - the most delicious meal ever!"

  • Our sweet honeymoon haven

"We had a good travel to Holbox. The driver you recommended was very sweet. Thank you. So was the fisherman and his wife. They both took us on the from you recommended trip to isla paradis and the bird island and the waterhole ... and we were fishing. And we fell in love with cerviche, the traditional fishdish. In 3 weeks we will give a party for our friends here at home, who helped so much to make our wedding happening, where we will serve cerviche ... as good as we will be able to make it :). And we enjoyed the quietness of Holbox in the shoulder season sooo much. One night we slept on the beach at the western end of the island. With full moon and only nature to accompany us. And a golf cart taxi to pick us up the next day. The fish in the freezer was delicious. Cooked on the fire in the barbecue outside. I have been missing, drinking coconuts for years. So we have been enjoying drinking some of the coconuts from the palms in the backyard :) We enjoyed seeing the fisherman landing their catch on the beach and we could by fish of them as well. So beautiful is the casa de los Angeles. It reminds me soo much of Hundertwasser houses. Enjoyable where the lack of straight lines, the magnitude of colours and artful creation of the place. So we had a wonderful honeymoon in your house and would like to thank you soooooo .. ooo much for renting your house. We missed nothing and had love and fun at our side at all times. Thank you truly for a blessed time in Holbox, Lyn and Simon"

  • Great time

"We spend 6 days over this beautiful island with my fiance. It was one of our best vacation to date. Great peaceful getaway. We loved the house and the environment. House has beautiful clean garden and direct access to beach. French bakery nearby is great for breakfast, and you have choice of fine dining in "town" center which is like 5 minutes away. You can spend your time walking on the beautiful beach, read books laying on hamack, swim or whatever. The whole island is very "slow" like typical tropical island from your dreams."

  • paradise

"We spent our honeymoon here and every single moment of it was amazing. Booking was quick and easy and James arranged a taxi from Cancun. The place itself looks a lot better than on the photos. You get a private well-equiped house right on the beach with a garden. Upon arrival we met Susana, who was really helpful and friendly. We felt like in paradise. The garden has shades from the palm trees, it is covered with white sand and the view is amazing to the sea. We were just sitting on the terrace drinking beer and were constantly amazed by our surroundings. It is better than any luxurious hotel. You can easily run into the sea and then have a shower (the house has an outside shower too) then just lay in the hammock. If it happens to rain you can move a little bit back to the porch. The bed is comfy, bathroom is nice, you have your kitchen, you can prepare your own food or you can choose to go to "downtown" Holbox which is full of nice places (food is amazing everywhere) just 2-3 streets away. 2 bikes and 2 kayaks are there for you. There are bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets nearby and people at Holbox are super-friendly. This place is highly recommended, it is wonderful like you were in a fairytale. 6 stars"

Isla Holbox Travel Tips

Isla Holbox Vacation Rentals Provide Access to a Quiet Beach

Isla Holbox, an island about 7 miles north of the Yucatan peninsula in the province of Quintana Roo, is the perfect place to travel if you want a beach vacation without the crowds. This island hasn’t yet been discovered as a major tourist destination, despite its proximity to Cancun, 2 hours to the south. Yet, despite this, Isla Holbox villas can help you enjoy the vacation of a lifetime. Most of the island’s coast is taken up by more than 7 miles of white sand beaches that allow you to enjoy the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico in a whole new way.

Quintana Roo Condos are Perfect for Enjoying Local Food

One of the favorite pastimes in Quintana Roo is eating, and Isla Holbox is no exception. Featuring a wide selection of fresh seafood, Isla Holbox restaurants give you access to a wide variety of food. There are taco and burger stands throughout the town, and some more unusual places as well. For example, Isla Holbox vacation rentals will give you a place to stay while enjoying the pizza at Restaurant Edelyn. While pizza is an unusual sort of food to find in Mexico, Restaurant Edelyn’s is even more unusual, as their specialty is a lobster pizza. In addition, various other restaurants in town also serve seafood based dishes, such as the shrimp spaghetti at Viva Zapata, or the Continental-style fish and meats from Parilla de Juan.

Isla Holbox Villas are Beautiful Vacation Spots

The beach and Gulf of Mexico are among the biggest attractions in Isla Holbox, but that’s not all that makes it vacation-worthy. The island is kept clean and safe, even during hurricane season. And to ensure you breathe easily, cars are very rarely seen fhere.
