"This beautiful condo was more than expected. From the moment we walked in and saw the Mexican themed decorations to the beautiful view from the balcony. Property manager checked in with us when we arrived and was available 24/7 if we had any questions. Owners supplied plenty of snorkeling gear, beach chairs, beach towels and even a large selection of movies. The snorkeling right off the private beach was excellent! We saw barracuda, squid, an eel and tons of small colorful fish. The property was kept immaculate and the pool was cleaned every morning. Perfect location, not too far from town. Ulva's Beach Bar next door was very convenient if we didn't feel like cooking. They have a great breakfast. We really enjoyed our week at this condo and will definitely be back!"

"Am on day 3 of our stay and can't say enough good things about our villa and dealings with mike marino. To summarize: very clean unit, well equiped, great location and straight goods from the owner . The layout is great if youre bringing a couple kids (they essentially have their own floor) . Theres a mall and grocery stoor across the street and the unit has every utensil you'll need. The ultimate review is to say you'll rent again-and I will!!"

"We had an excellent stay at Playa Kaan at the end of March. We were traveling with our 18 month old daughter, so I did a lot of research to make sure we selected the perfect location so we could all enjoy. I wanted to make sure we stayed somewhere that was walking distance to the beach and food, had 2-bedrooms, a pool, and wasn't in a giant complex or resort where I felt trapped in the room while our daughter was sleeping. Playa Kaan ticked all the boxes! Having 2-bedrooms was key, so she could nap and go to sleep early without us disturbing her. Also, the balcony looks over the pool so while she was napping, I felt totally comfortable heading pool side to get some sun because it was in such close proximity. And at night, my husband and I would hang out on the balcony playing cards and having drinks while she slept...it was truly perfect. Also awesome, the management company was able to loan us a pack-and-play, so that was a huge relief to not have to travel with one. And since we walked everywhere, we never had to use the stroller or a car seat the entire week. And the pool was ideal since it has a really shallow area (less than a foot deep?) so she could splash around and not really need the giant floaty boat that we brought. We had the best time, and loved walking to the beach and 5th avenue every day. Had amazing food, met some really nice people also staying at Playa Kaan, and just had an awesome time all around. Traveling with a toddler can be stressful, but with the awesome setup the condo provided for us, it was totally worth it!"

"This condo was great for us. My wife and I had previously stayed at an all inclusive in Cozumel, but grew bored with the same restaurants and location every day. We decided to try this for our trip back with the kids. The complex was well kept and quiet. The condo was clean and fully furnished with most everything you would need for your vacation. Just add groceries and you didn't have to leave unless you want to. We liked to try the local restaurants, so we only at in about 50% of the time. Normally for breakfast and lunch since we were there snorkeling. The pool is small but adequate for those just wanting a dip in something other than salt water. The view from the condo and rooftop terrace was prefect to watch the boats go by in the morning and sunset in the evening. There is no dock at the complex for boat pickup, but boats would come in close for renters who booked scuba trips and they would just swim out to it. There is not a sectioned off swim area like resorts and clubs, but with Uvas beach club right next door, their marker line served as a good point of reference for snorkeling out. The boats all kept well away from the when passing by. If you want to go out further, I would recommend using a surface marker. However most of the really good snorkeling was closer to shore everywhere we went. The snorkeling right out from the condo was some of the best we found. No surprise since the condo sits in the middle of the best shore snorkeling stretch in Cozumel. We brought our own gear, but the beach club next door will rent it as well. Chakanaab is just south of the condo and is a great place to go as well. Between the 2, there are taxi's around during the day if you choose not to rent a car. The only downside of the condo was some of the furniture. The beds were pretty firm, but that is a preference. My wife liked it, but I missed my bed. The sectional couch was the only real negative of the stay. It is small and uncomfortable to sit on for everyone except my 10 and 13 year olds. It fit them like a normal couch fits an adult, but even they didn’t like sitting on it. However that small issue wouldn't prevent me from going back or recommending it to others. Not much time should be spent in the living room watching TV on beach vacation anyway."
