"We stayed at this attractive condo for 2 weeks and were completely satisfied in every way, actually much more than satisfied. The location is perfect, close to the beach and to 5th Avenue, but still quiet. We especially enjoyed the large deck, along with the spacious interior. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Having a washer and dryer available was another bonus. We appreciated having on-site management and found Jean to be especially helpful and able to respond quickly to any of our queries. We took advantage of being close to Chez Celine by buying all our bread and pastries at this fantastic bakery. We enjoyed trying out many of the restaurants within walking distance of the condo. We would highly recommend this condo for a wonderful and memorable vacation."

  • Amazing Place

"This was our first trip to Playa Del Carmen and it is now my absolute favorite place in Mexico. The condo was clean, comfortable and had all of the amenities you could want. Gary, the property manager was also quite helpful with information. The pictures on the web are very accurate; the place is as beautiful as they look. There are two tennis courts (with lights) right across the street which we loved. Very close to the main street with tons of great restaurants and shops. The rooftop pool was like having our own private pool; we only saw two other people the entire 8 days we were there. The beach is also convenient. It was truly a perfect vacation for us and we will return for sure! The Owner was a pleasure to work with and she made everything easy with the charges, deposits, etc. I highly recommend this condo for your vacation; you will not be disappointed."

  • Family vacation

"My wife, my daughter, and I stayed at this condo for five nights. It was clean and very comfortable. Nice family pool of which we took full advantage. Literally one minute walk to the beach with that beautiful transparent blue-green Caribbean water. Less than a three or four minute walk to restaurants and stores. The staff was great- personable, friendly and helpful. And last, but not least, dealing with Perry was a pleasure. He was wquick to answer any questions and made the rental process easy. I highly recommend staying here."

  • Fantastic, spacious, perfect location

"Barbara's condo in Bosque de los Aluxes was exactly what we needed. I traveled there for a week in early April with my wife, brother and his girlfriend (all of us late 20s/early 30s), and we all agreed that we'd go back in a heartbeat. If you've been to Playa, you know that 5th Ave has a lot to offer, but also can be loud/overwhelming/annoying at times. Barbara's condo is situated at the northern end of 5th where it is much more chill, but is still a stone's throw from both Mamita's/Kool beach clubs and all of the restaurants you've probably read about elsewhere. As for the inside of the property itself - it's fantastic. Both beds are king sized and really comfortable, the room sizes/layouts are identical with great walk-in showers. The view outside is fantastic - I at first thought that the rooftop was a shared space (like a rooftop in NYC), but it's all yours when staying there. The pool was very refreshing to hop in first thing in the morning or after the beach, but it's not something you'll want to spend all day in since it's about the size of a large hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed (including lots of spices), and we used it several times for dinner and breakfast. The only glitch in our stay is that the AC didn't work at first, but after emailing the property management company they sent someone out to repair it within an hour. (Quick side note - we ended up renting a car, and there was a place nearby that we walked to without a reservation...very easy process. I was a little nervous given that it was a foreign company, we had a small language barrier, and we didn't use GPS, but it went totally fine. We visited Tulum and a fantastic Monkey Sanctuary a few miles away from the ruins). Finally, even though Barbara goes through a property management company, she made sure to add her personal touch throughout the stay and offered several recommendations for places to eat/visit/shop."
