Wonderful Experience with my Family at Luna Encantada! Muchas Gracias
"My family and I had a wonderful 10 days at the condo. We really enjoy how everything is close in proximity and walking distance to MEGA and Walmart for groceries. Playa del Carmen have been our favorite for the last 3 summers. We all enjoy the pool, the beach and how we could go back into the condo and cool off at any time. It was really our home away from home. We had wonderful weather, food and lots of cold cervezas. The condo have everything to cook with which we did many times. We rented a car so it was great having our own garage. Visited Xcaret, Tulum, Akumal, Puerto Morelos and Xelha. Staff is great. Gloria kept the room cleaned and she was super friendly. We will be planning to return to Luna Encantada.
Thanks Mike and Maia"

"This condo was exactly as we had hoped! Everything was in great condition and perfectly clean. It is within walking distance of everything on 5th Avenue so you don't need to waste your money or worry about a rental car. The caretaker and maids made our stay very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for the limited cooking we did. We did little in-house cooking because eating and drinking are right down the block easily walked in less than 2 minutes!
The Sushi Club is right across the street and is very good. There is also a very nice Italian place just a few steps toward 5th that has great service and food (plus very nice wine and glasses!). We were in Playa for 10 days and barely put a scratch in the restaurants within 4 blocks.
Our favorite pastime when traveling is eating and watching people: This place is perfect for it!!
There is a nice pool on the roof. Nice place to hang out for some sun and swimming but a little too hot for us and we suggested adding a little more shade! The owners took our suggestion to the owner's group. There are beach clubs within a short walk for those that wanted that too.
We could not have picked a better place. One doesn't always get what one expects in Mexico but here you will.
We highly recommend this unit."

"We had 8 people with us for the 4 bedrooms which was perfect. The condo community was very nice, there were a few beach chairs that you could use during the day if you got there early enough but the real bonus was the fantastic pool. The pool was almost always empty (as was the entire condo community it seemed, I imagine they aren't fully sold yet) and absolutely gorgeous. The only downside was that you really need to have a car to get downtown to the various restaurants etc. unless you want to just stay at the condo/beach and use the kitchen the whole time. You can get a taxi by going to the main desk at the front entrance of the community - its about 160 pesos per trip plus tip ($15 or so) though so that can add up pretty fast - rental car is the way to go. Just know that you need to have proof of foreign insurance printed and with you or else the rental car company will charge you a massive up charge per day for their own required insurance. We learned that the hard way."

"We enjoyed every minute we spend in this beautiful home. It truly was paradise to spend time in the rooftop pool with such amazing views. The attention to detail is well noted when you wake up refreshed from sleeping on such comfortable beds. We walked the beach each morning, and spent time exploring the area through the day. Plenty to do for our family of 7 (ages 17-49) in the Playa Del Carmen area. We visited a Mayan Village, toured a cenote, went snorkeling, zip lining, rappelling and rode 4 wheelers. This house, this location is simply magical."
