"We had a group of 9 stay at Casa Tomas and we all had a wonderful time! Highly recommend the house - it is in a great location and the beach is perfect! The walk to town takes about 15-20 minutes on the beach or neighborhood. We stopped on the way to the house at the grocery store - loaded up and were set for the entire week. Housekeeper Mary was delightful. Nacho met us and gave us instructions about wifi and how to run the tv's/cable, etc. We locked ourselves out once and Kim was more than helpful to get us back in. Thank you!"

"Family vacation for grandparents, kids, inlaws and grandkids. All adults came totally exhausted and in need of warmth and relaxation. Achieved both in roomy house, wonderful pool, proximity of beach and downtown."

"We loved the location of this condo. It is a short walk to Mamitas beach area and even closer to Chez Celine bakery/restaurant where warm baguettes can be purchased for breakfast! Communicating with the owner Shayne was prompt and straightforward. The property manager in Playa was also in contact with us by email and text, and was waiting at the condo when we arrived.
The photos on the VRBO webpage gave a very accurate depiction of the condo (except all the recent construction has sadly blocked the view of the ocean from the rooftop). The bedrooms are large and comfortable. There was lots of hot water for showers. There was bottled water, toilet paper, etc to start off our vacation so no need to rush off to the store the first day. There were lots of towels including beach towels which was terrific as the condo does not have a washer/dryer. (Laundromats are plentiful if we had needed to do laundry.) The condo was also stocked with items such as sandwich bags, garbage bags, coffee filters etc. There were three separate air conditioning units so each bedroom and the kitchen/living space is separately controlled. We rarely used the kitchen/living room air conditioner as the condo has high ceilings and was generally a nice temperature. The master bedroom had patio doors opening onto the balcony, but the sounds from 5th Avenue and the air conditioners from nearby roofs, made it a bit noisy to fall asleep with them open.
We did not do much cooking as we wanted to enjoy the many restaurants in town. We did make breakfasts and the kitchen was more than adequate for that. The refrigerator was large and worked very well and was well used by us! A larger television, to watch a few of the many Mexican soccer matches that were televised would have been nice, but not a significant issue for us.
Our favorite part of the condo was the balcony where we sat and had a glass of wine in the evenings – or stood to do some people watching below us on 5th Avenue. Hopefully this condo will be available the next time we come to Playa as we would certainly like to stay there again!"

"We had such a great time in this place that I'm not staying anywhere else when I return to Playa. It has everything you need in the best area of town. No need to look any further. You'll feel like a local and the apt will feel like home. Very spacious, clean, bright and the layout is practical and comfortable. We loved the fact that it is close to everything but private enough to avoid the noise and the crowds. Definitely recommended."
