"Our family of four (2 adults, kids ages 21 & 16) just returned from almost a week in Shawn's condo. It was an awesome place to stay; the condo was furnished, comfortable and clean, plenty of bath and beach towels. The beach was very clean, very few rocks (we'd taken beach shoes-didn't need them). The location was the absolute best. We walked to 5th Avenue almost every morning and evening, we had dinner on 5th Ave most nights (check out Mi Pueblo-yumminess!). Also walked to Walmart for food, an easy walk. Shawn was great to deal with and so helpful, very quick responses to any inquiries we had. Condo management staff also accessible for a couple minor problems (swiftly resolved). Maid service was a luxury we've never had before. Condo staff was so very friendly and helpful, answering any questions we had. The only down side to the location is there is a bar close by on the beach that had music going until the wee hours, so we were not able to turn off the AC at night to listen to the sound of the surf at night (just something we love to do on beach vacations). There is also construction happening right next to the condo, but we weren't inside during the day, so it wasn't an issue for us. On the upside, the condo is very soundproof, so noise was not an issue with doors/windows closed and AC running. We used Amigo Tours to visit Xichen Itza, highly recommend them, you are in and out before the crowd and heat of the day descend upon this magnificent place. We used the transfer/shuttle company that Shawn provided information on for transport to/from the airport, it was nice to have our own van with AC in the hustle and bustle of coming and going. This was our first time to Mexico and couldn't have asked for more. We cannot recommend El Faro and Shawn's condo enough! Not sure if we'll ever make it back, but we'd stay here again without hesitation!"

"We stayed in this condo for one week (4 people). It was very spacious, spotless and quiet. Although it is in the middle of all the action, (beach 5th Ave., lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance), you heard no outside noise unless the windows or doors were open. The building is full of friendly people and workers who bend over backward to accommodate you. Jes was very easy to work with and always responded immediately to any and every question.
It was my first time staying in Playa del Carmen. but it definitely won't be my last. I highly recommend this building and this owner."

"Where do I begin?! Mark and Laurie have such a wonderful home and we felt immediately like it was our own. The Moskito property management team are consummate professionals and were on-hand for questions, suggestions, etc. throughout our entire stay. The location is perfect; close walk to a public beach with a pretty private feel which was really nice. Similarly close walk to 5th Avenue with an endless array of shops, restaurants, bars, and other entertainment options.
The information binder that Laurie created and left in the condo for our reference was so painstakingly maintained that we really were never at a loss for suggestions on things to do, places to see, etc. We can't wait to come back and continue exploring all of the stuff we didn't get to during our short 1-week stay! I have already recommended the Rosa Blanca condo to a few friends planning their own vacations and after looking at our pictures and the cozy (yet spacious) accommodations, they are very excited to book their own trips! One suggestion: definitely try and venture off of 5th Avenue; we found so much delicious food on 10th Avenue and also were pleasantly surprised at how much cheaper gifts are "off the strip". Check out Manne's Biergarten on Calle 4 Norte between 10th and 15th Avenues; nice little back patio area to enjoy drinks!
Laurie was so pleasant to work with (as was Laura with Moskito), that it really took ALL of the stress out of vacation planning. We cannot wait to return to Playa and look forward to enjoying the condo again!
Also, we made a trip to Tulum for a couple of days while friends stayed behind in the condo and got engaged! So, the Rosa Blanca condo will always have a special place in our hearts and memories. Thanks again, Laurie and Mark!"

Fantastic Condo in the Best Building in Playa Del Carmen
"If you want to visit Playa Del Carmen, I don't know how you could do any better than this. It was a wonderful experience from the time we arrived to the time we left. This condo is located just steps away from 5th Avenue. You'll never run out of new restaurants to try or shops to explore. The local management company (Caribbean Beach Properties) employs some very friendly people. They connected with us multiple times and responded to the few issues that we had almost instantly. They even had the unit ready before 1:00 (official check in time is 3:00) despite the fact that another family had just checked out that morning. We also loved the free drinking water that they supplied. The condo was in beautiful condition and well furnished. It has a true wrap-around patio and beautiful views from two different angles. There's only a few spots in the entire unit where you can't see the ocean. Comfortable beds and good air-conditioning meant that we slept quite well during our stay. I only have a few complaints about this unit. The secondary bathroom often had a sewer gas smell, the master bathroom has no door (no privacy if someone else is in the bedroom), and the condo's patio is accessible from the public hallway (so you have no security if you leave a door open for fresh air at night). Also beware that staircases around the property lack proper handrails and the pool can be quite difficult for those with disabilities to enter and exit. Other than these few things, our stay was perfect. We'd do it again in a heartbeat."
