John and I would thank you both for our wonderful one month stay at your condo! We had never been to Mexico before and had concerns but they were quickly wiped away upon our arrival. Used U.S.A. Transfers to and from Airport and they were great. Friendly drivers and on time.
The condo itself was perfect and walking distance to the beach, restaurants, stores. Deanni greeted us when we arrived, and showed us the ropes. There was a nice bottle of red waiting for us - thank you for that. When we needed supplies/food, walking to Mega or Walmart was enjoyable. Nice to take side streets and check out the local architecture.
We met lots of lovely people both at the building and while we were out and about.Elizabeth and Lucien in 210 live very close to us here in Kanata believe it or not. Small world. Wilbur, the gardener is wonderful beyond belief. Hard working, pleasant, helpful. We exchanged email addresses - he wants to see pictures of snow! Kayla really did a great job of house keeping. There was a minor problem with the air conditioner and Joel fixed it straight away.
Before we left, I was really worried about safety issues. We never once felt anything but relaxed, comfortable, and safe.
I'm sure you have been told many times about the great places to eat but here's what stood out for us. For breakfast La Cueva del Chango or La Ceiba by DAC on 30th near Constituyentes are good choices. At lunch John enjoyed picking out the fish he wanted to be cooked at El Pirata on Calle 40 between Av 5 and 10.Can't get much fresher than that! El Fogon was great for inexpensive authentic Mexican fare. Great cold beer. We fell upon Aldea Corazon on 5th Av between 14y and 14B one day and were pleasantly surprised by a little oasis of wonderful hidden gardens. Very beautiful. Food was delicious. When we wanted a change from Mexican food we went to La Casa Del Agua. We had dinner there one evening and loved it. I had the lamb and John the short ribs. Both fantastic. Very nice atmosphere and a lovely evening out. We did try other places but too many to mention here. Thanks again for a wonderful stay."

"We recently stayed here in this very beautiful open mexican style villa. It was a last min. find as when we arrived our booked accommodations did not suit our groups size and needs. I found it after we arrived in Playa, by miracle on VRBO and Bernard was quick to respond and get the home open for us. The house manager, Ulla was a huge help in setting up excursions and ideas for what to do in the area. Gladys the cook and house keeper had a lovely reception for us and came in. All of it on a Sunday (their off day) and last min.. Gladys cooked excellent traditional food for us a couple of times. The roof top is a lovely sanctuary where we napped on a rainy day and read books. The patio with its fountains beautiful created a relaxing atmosphere for our dinners. The house was very comfortable. And can't say enough about everyone's hospitality. I have saved as one of my favorites on VRBO and should I return will look at this property first for availability. It is a quick walk to the beach."

"just returned from a week in Playa del Carmen that was perfect. Friends stayed at El Faro last year so I knew I wanted to be at this location, and Reef 403 was amazing. Everything is exactly as you see in the photos and Tonya and her staff were great. They checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything and the one request we did have was taken care of immediately. I travel to Playa with a large group annually and will definitely be staying here again!!!"

"This was our first trip South and it was a perfect location for us. It was close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The fridge is larger now than in the picture and the condo was as pretty as it looks online. As can happen in high humidity areas, the bedroom was a bit musty but some Febreeze took care of that and I had no trouble (I admit I have a very sensitive nose - my husband didn't notice it at all). Staff were helpful and courteous. It is close to the clubs and as we were there during a festival week, we needed earplugs at night but they completely blocked the background beat and we slept like babies. During the day noise was minimal. Beds were firm and comfy. Pool was a great place to have a dip after a hot day. We felt very safe there and I'd recommend it to anyone. We had breakfast in the condo every day and cooked our own dinner four evenings. There are two grocery stores within walking distance (Walmart and Mega) with good meat and veg selection. Walmart had Splenda, lemonade concentrate and tequila, so I made some field expedient low-sugar margaritas! We had a great time and came back with Pesos in our pocket. I'd highly recommend it for the independent traveler or couple who wants something different than an all inclusive. An extra chair to take the air on the patio would be a nice addition. The owner was very considerate and helpful. I would recommend this condo to my friends."
