"I recently returned from a girl's trip and this condo was perfect for us. I spent over 10 years in the travel business so I have been to many resorts and have experienced many levels of accommodation. This condo truly impressed me with its location right on the beach and amenities just steps away. I don't know if I'll ever go back to a resort in this area again after staying here. The resorts are a taxi ride away from town and this is right in the center of the action yet still quiet. It was so nice to be able to walk to shops and restaurants and night time street entertainment. There were massage therapists around the corner and a deep tissue massage is only $20. There is beachside dining and a great guy named Santiago who will deliver food and drinks. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of space. It is also ideal for a couple of families to share and is very kid friendly."

"We have stayed at this condo more than once because it is very comfortable and in a great location in Playa. The north end is the newest area in the city and convenient to many businesses as well as tourist destinations. Restaurants and shopping are extremely accessible. The beach is visible from the front of the condo building- so easy to walk to.
The pool at Via 38 is one of the most usable in Playa. It is large and extremely well maintained, as are all of the grounds.
The staff at Via 38 is friendly and helpful.
This condo is well maintained and attractive. The bedrooms are large. The kitchen is furnished with all the basics and having a washer and dryer is indispensable.
We are senior travelers and fully appreciated the condo's appointments and location."

"Our stay in the condo was great. It was centrally located to all places we wanted to visit. We had a lovely view of the ocean. We had relatives staying in the all inclusive next door and the condo was much better than the congested room. The pool was great and kids had a lot of fun.
A couple of nuisances, the toilet paper was being rationed, they said two/day but the cleaning ladies don't work some days which ended up being a roll a day. I decided to go ahead and buy a pack of rolls for myself for my peace of mind. It was kinda annoying to worry about toilet paper when on vacation. We did a lot of cooking and a dishwasher would have great.
All in all a great place to stay and have fun !"

"We had 8 people with us for the 4 bedrooms which was perfect. The condo community was very nice, there were a few beach chairs that you could use during the day if you got there early enough but the real bonus was the fantastic pool. The pool was almost always empty (as was the entire condo community it seemed, I imagine they aren't fully sold yet) and absolutely gorgeous. The only downside was that you really need to have a car to get downtown to the various restaurants etc. unless you want to just stay at the condo/beach and use the kitchen the whole time. You can get a taxi by going to the main desk at the front entrance of the community - its about 160 pesos per trip plus tip ($15 or so) though so that can add up pretty fast - rental car is the way to go. Just know that you need to have proof of foreign insurance printed and with you or else the rental car company will charge you a massive up charge per day for their own required insurance. We learned that the hard way."
