  • Excellent location, beautiful grounds, felt at ease.

"We loved staying here! It was the perfect location as we could walk everywhere! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The unit was in excellent condition and impeccably clean. We had everything we needed. The grounds of the property are beautiful and well manicured, with flowers everywhere! And the view of the beach and ocean was breath-taking! We would DEFINITELY stay here again in the future! Thank you!"

  • Perfect beach vacation spot

"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely most awesome location! Just above the beach sand, looking out on ocean and beach with no obstacles. Didn't even know there were buildings of condos behind you. Free good alternating styles of live music from Zenzi enjoyed out on the patio with cocktails and dinner. Pool would get very warm like a bathtub in afternoon, but we kept the whirlpool temp cool...very refreshing and enjoyable. Condo clean and well equipped. Property management people checked in regularly and prompted addressed any issues we had."

"This condo is the best for the people who don't like the big chain hotels and would like to get a taste of local environment while still seeking for high standard accommodation. It was the warm hospitality from Laurie (owner) and Laura (from Moskito) made this condo better than other places. Even before you decide, feel free to email them, you will have all your questions answered in no time with the best suggestions. Transportation: The taxies are quite convenient, but with two little kids and all the stuff we needed to carry around, we decided to rent a car directly from the airport which saved us some money. Driving is fairly easy to all destinations as long as you have a GPS. We saved all the destinations into the GPS including the condo location into GPS, and had no problem. Gas stations are easy to find along the main highway. There is designated parking space at the condo. Beach: The condo is located within walking distance from downtown Playa del Carmen. But if you plan to walk all the way across the town, you might need to take a taxi back home. There is a trail to the beach about 15 mins walking. Very nice beach with miles of white sand, and no crowd!!! Strollers are not easy to access the trail. You won't find milky blue water and coral reef here. there are better places for snorkeling, but you can definitely enjoy the warm wavy water and the white sand. Food: If you have limit budget like us, go buy groceries at Walmart or Mega. They are both located in downtown. At both locations, you can find US standard groceries. Buy tropical fruit instead of apples and peaches. You will be surprised with the quality and price. There are taxis available at the entrance. Condo: The rooms are like 3-4 star hotel. The cleaning lady comes 2 times during our 6 days trip. Plenty of towels to use and everything you need in the kitchen. The big binder on the coffee table has lots info for your trip including takeout food menu! You have to appreciate the thoughtfulness and hard work Laura made for her customers. Make sure to spend some time to enjoy the pool! We always had the pool to ourselves. Look up, there are stars awaits. Destination suggestions: - Akumal Beach: Go have a easy snorkel to see sea turtels!! even my 6-year-old made it. Tour guides are available but not necessary. Beautiful and calm water. - Tulum : most beautiful place to see from up and down. Learned mayan history. bring drinking water and swim in the milky blue water~"

  • Spring trip 2014

"We stayed at the condo in early March over spring break, it is a very nice condo. Nice kitchen, super nice penthouse patio. It is close to the beach and shopping. Pool is tiny as mentioned but we are not pool people. It was a little noisy in the area, but this was during spring break and that is the trade-off to being so close to everything. On arrival there was packets of info, and Mexico phone ready to use (buy minutes) at shop. Had a really nice time, and both owner and management company were easy to deal with. We would definitely stay again."
