  • Great Vacation Spot

"Great beach front unit with fantastic views of the beach and a private pool. One short block from the main avenue with shops and tons of good restaurants. There is an attended lobby and a taxi stand on the corner. The unit has great wi-fi and cable tv. The owner also has a great phone set up. The kitchen is very functional and the unit has two good sized bathrooms and a laundry set up. Would recommend this for a family or couple vacation. The owner is very responsive and easy to reach as well."

  • Wonderful place to stay

"We had such a great time, thank you Stephanie! We only wish we could have stayed longer, 2 nights in Tulum was not enough. It's a sweet little town, and the house is in a fantastic location. Ten minutes' walk to the center of Tulum, and a short drive to all of the cenotes, which were amazing. We were so glad to be in a residential neighborhood rather than in one of the hotels in the more touristy part of town. We enjoyed the restaurant we went to one night but our favorite meal was an evening of hopping from one tamale/taco cart to another—they are great! The house is beautiful and we loved having Diego around. Thanks again!"

  • What more could one ask?

"Everything about Casa de las Cupulas is well thought out. Located slightly off the beaten tourist path, the villa overlooks the Caribbean on the island of Isla Mujeres, a short ferry ride from Cancun, Mexico. The island itself is a quaint, friendly place with warm white beaches on one side and dramatic cliffs on the other where the Caribbean surf crashes constantly. The villa is located on the sparsely populated southern end of Isla within walking distance of the Mayan ruins on the southernmost tip. The elevated stone patio within the walls of Casa is an ideal place to sip coffee while watching the sun rise over the Caribbean. The architecture, furnishings, and decor of Casa de las Cupulas are beautiful, interesting and unique, creating an atmosphere of relaxation. The greatest feature of this place, however, is the service provided by David (the owner) and the staff. Amira, the cook/housekeeper, prepared wonderful dishes for us daily. Everything she served was made from scratch, including an endless supply of guacamole, pico, fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit. Evening meals were works of art. I spoke to David daily and his advice about the island - what to do, where to go, who to call - was invaluable. I called him several times and he never missed answering his phone. I was with a party of ten, and the villa accomodated us generously without ever feeling crowded. To summarize, there are not enough stars to adequately rate the quality of Cas de las Cupulas."

  • Mi casa es Su casa!! = Priceless!!!!

"Have you been angry because of a late flight? Or, arrival late because of immigration or any set-back? OKAY, Let me tell you....We arrived very early in the day and Guillermo and his staff were at the house preparing for our very early arrival... The fridge was full of cold beer, juice, fruit, eggs, butter, etc. and many condiments... If you need more groceries, The Cheduriil grocery store or XOXO is very close. Just so you know, We are spoiled timeshare owners..but let me tell you, waking up in your beach ware and spending the day grilling and making the house your home is priceless .We became fast friends with the "gate guys". they made sure we were safe at all times. My brother who was staying at a hotel near us during the same time we were renting the house, My brothers girlfriend, lost her passport and immigration form.. Guillermo gave us instructions on what to do and where to go.. He even came to the police station to meet us. Bearing in mind..this was not a occupant, just a friend of his renter, We have nothing but nice things to say about Guillermo. We are actually trying to rent from Guillermo in the next couple of weeks. If you want to feel secure in your rental and make friends for life.. Rent from Guillermo!"
