"My wife and I stayed at Caza Neza for 9 days. Great central location on the island. We stayed on North Beach our first trip, and this was much more relaxing. There is a Chedraui ( like a Walmart ) just a 10 minute walk from the house, very easy to stock up on food, beer, etc. We rented a golf cart and could go anywhere on the Island in no time. The pool was nice and very private. The only thing missing was wifi, but there was a great little restaurant, Green Verde, one block from the house. Super food and the best wifi connection I found on the Island, very fast. Will definitely stay at Casa Neza again. Highly recommended."

"My husband and I rented Casa Loro for our two week honeymoon in Cozumel and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. Joni, the on-island property manager, was extremely helpful and a perfect host the entire time. She met us the morning after we arrived to give us a brief orientation about the house and gave us recommendations on local places to eat, beaches to visit, sites to see, etc. Everything was just as pictured and advertised. The house is well stocked with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and having the extra amenities (such as laundry and those awesome beach towels) was such a bonus. The air conditioning system in each room worked extremely well and even on the hottest and most humid of days, we were always comfortable.
The house itself is set back in the Independencia neighborhood in town and is about a ten minute walk down to the water front and big grocery stores (Chedraui and Mega is a bit farther down the street). The neighborhood itself is extremely safe and the house with gate are very, very secure. We walked around late at night without a worry. The neighbors were also friendly and there are a ton of great local eateries within a few blocks of the house. Taxis to the waterfront usually ran around 30-50 pesos (30-40 pesos to the grocery store, about 40-50 to the ferry pier) and about 80-100 pesos to the marinas (Moneybar). Rafael, the taxi contact listed in the house binder, was always prompt in sending a taxi over whenever we needed one and was very reliable.
I think the best part of this rental (aside from being in a very safe neighborhood, as advertised and with an amazing property manager), is that you really can get a local experience. Being set back in town and away from the cruise ships and touristy strip of Avenida Melgar, we really got to dine with a lot of the locals and wander around areas without many other tourists. Of course it's all there if you're into that, but we really enjoyed being away from the hubbub of the shopping district and cruise ship travelers. We also were visited by a super friendly gentleman who sells pastries every morning between about 8:30-9:30 am. He always had tips on where to go and what to visit.
We would absolutely not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone traveling to Cozumel. We loved the home and all the people in the neighborhood!"

"We truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The villa was an awesome "home away from home" in the perfect location. Our kids (ages 1 & 3) enjoyed the pool and we had plenty of space in the villa. We enjoyed all the awesome restaurant suggestions Gilly provided in addition to cooking up great meals at home. The furnishings and decor were very beautiful and reflected the vibrant Mexican culture. We enjoyed watching wildlife through the back sliding doors and listening to the birds. The villa had an nice open floor plan with overhead fans which made opening all the doors and windows in the day enjoyable. We it already and hope to return there soon!!"

"I arrived for Semana Santa and was greeted by Kim the caretaker. He took care to make sure everyone in my party (including my two cats) were comfortable, and went above and beyond in these duties. He made the snorkeling and kayaking experiences easy and very enjoyable. We appreciate his generosity for the entire two week vacation afforded us at Casa del Sol, and Mio Maya.
I was also available to assist Kim in greeting and caring for other vacationers during Semana Santa. By translating the occasional comment or advice in Spanish for two such parties, I was able to ascertain their complete satisfaction and was happy to pass on their excellent reviews as well. Thank you for a lovely vacation, with pristine snorkelling, and an adventure in the wild National Park of Mexico's south."
