  • Much Better Than Average, But Not Perfect

"First...general building and grounds information. The access to diving or even to the pool required taking the elevator to ground level, then following the hallway to a stairway leading down to the garage, then crossing the garage to a different stairway leading up to the pool and "beach" area. The beach is artificial. There is no direct access to the water from the beach. The whirlpool in the pool area did not work for the second straight year. I am unsure whether it ever works. The elevator did not work for most of one day, but was quickly repaired. The fan in the elevator was broken the entire time, making it feel very warm and stuffy. The building is very well located and in good condition. The grounds are well kept. The pathway to the snorkeling area is convenient and the adjacent snorkeling is better than average. The dock area is not as long as it should be which requires directional docking, sometimes impossible under even medium wind conditions. The concierge services offered are excellent. The unit itself: It was clean throughout and as spacious as advertised. The maid service is excellent, although one day that the maid was supposed to be there she did not show. The concierge had a different maid clean the unit and replace the towels. The promised bath robes did not exist. The televisions worked well. We needed to replace the iPod station remote batteries. Even after that, the range to the station was less than three feet. The furniture is considerable farther away than that. The sliding doors to the very nice balcony do not seal well and rattle loudly when the wind is from the west or north. The sliding doors in the second master ocean side do not even lock. The balcony furniture is very worn, light weight, and slides noisily in the wind. There is one large, easily seen wall clock in the unit that is battery operated. It did not work, even when we replaced the battery. The refrigerator-freezer requires that the doors be pushed in order to close properly and even with a good push sometimes do not seal which sounds an alarm after a while. The "solid" wood doors in the bedrooms that adjoin the great room are not solid wood. They contain large opaque glass panels that offer poor sound insulation and do not offer darkness in the bedrooms when anyone in the great room desires light. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of pillows, and the linens as advertised. The great room furniture was comfortable."

  • Amazing location

"Just wanted to write a quick review about our visit. We had a fantastic stay at Casita Blanca. Roberto was amazingly helpful. The view from our unit was breathtaking. The walk to town for supper in the evenings was so beatiful. We loved our stay and can not wait to visit next year."

  • Entire Family loved the house!!

"We are wrapping up our vacation here at Cristal and our entire family is sad! We have had a wonderful time here on the island and in Cristal. The kids were blown away with the house and felt as if we were celebrities. The main thing that I would suggest to future visitors is to get Norma to cook for you. She prepares the BEST food and brings it right to you so you never have to leave the house! The owners were easy to work with and the house if perfect! I would highly recommend this house! I hope that we can come back again soon!!!"

  • Great condo in a great location.

"Location, location, location. We had a wonderful trip to Play Del Carmen in large part due to this great location and comfortable condo. We were only 100-150 meters from the beach or 100-150 meters to 5th ave. the condo provide something for everyone. We spent a couple days walking to the ferry and scuba diving on the island of Cozumel. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool or ocean, laying out on the beach, and walking / shopping down 5th ave. We found amazing restaurants down 5th ave and the condo provided some quality family time around the table laughing while we played a game or watched a movie. Some of our most enjoyable time was quite nights on the back deck with the sound of the surf and wrestling palms. The front porch was a beautiful spot to relax in the morning. Since the condo provided WiFi internet access I was able to catch up on emails in the morning, while the family slept. Our daughter enjoyed updating friends on Facebook in the evening, posting pictures of the places and events of the day. The condo was a perfect fit for our little family. We had a wonderful time! Playa Paraiso Travel Tips

Enjoy the Beach at Playa Paraiso Vacation Rentals

Playa Paraiso, or Paradise Beach, is considered by many visitors to be one of the best and most beautiful beaches in the world. Now, that beautiful beach can become an enjoyable vacation spot for you. With the many choices of Playa Paraiso villas available for rent, you can live it up on this beautiful Mexican coast. If you get tired of the beach, many of the Quintana Roo condos in Playa Paraiso are near three world class golf courses. The Mayakoba, Iberostar Gold, and Mayan Resort golf courses are all available for tourists who wish to spend some time on the links.

Playa Paraiso Villas, a new way to see Cancun

While not actually in Cancun itself, Playa Paraiso is located only 20-30 minutes south of the well-known tourist spot. Therefore, by staying in Playa Paraiso vacation rentals, you can visit Cancun without paying the premium prices of Cancun lodging. Playa Paraiso villas are also good for those wishing to see Playa del Carmen. This small city, about 20 minutes south of Playa Paraiso, is the port city providing access to Cozumel Island. Playa del Carmen and Playa Paraiso are also good places to find tours to visit the ancient Mayan ruins near Tulum.

Save Money with Quintana Roo Condos

Most beach vacations, especially to the most beautiful beaches in the world, are very costly. In order to save money, you can skip the expensive hotel/resort and rent a beachfront house condo in Playa Paraiso. This way, you can see the beach, visit the ruins, and play the links, all from the comfort of your own temporary home.
