Great time in Puerto Aventuras
"My family and I stayed at this condo last month and had a great time. The facility was very clean and accessible. The location is quiet and folks in the complex were very friendly. The Puerto Aventuras has a very safe feel to it and you can access the shops and restaurants either by the beach or roads (about a 10 minute leisurely walk). You are steps form the pool and beach. Snorkeling or fly fishing off the beach was pretty good. There is a grocery store about a 5 minute drive away and this area is quite central to a lot of activities in the Quintana Roo area (20 minutes to Playa Del Carmen and 30 minutes to Tulum. The condo itself was very comfortable and plenty of room for 8 people. There is a large balcony that overlooks the pool and you can see the beach. We had a breakdown in the AC and it was fixed the same day, great service by the condo management."

"Great place for our 6 adults + 5 kids (ages 4-12). Exactly what we needed for the grandparents, parents and kids.
* Everything worked, house nicely equipped
* One of the bedrooms is in a back sort of casita/own entrance so that was really nice for the grandparents to have a little privacy/quiet - especially with some of the littles up super early.
* Loved the golf cart & bikes
* Omni pass great - spent a few days hanging at the beach there
* Kids lived in the pool and hot tub at the house (adults loved both too - especially hot tub) - tip to give it a little time with the jets running to let it warm up.
* Latitude 20 is a nice reasonably priced nearby spot to walk for dinner and some live music on some nights
* Cheli (housecleaning and cook) and Marco (maintenance/yard, etc) very attentive/helpful
* Have Cheli cook dinner a few nights for some nice/authentic food
* Bring DVDs if you have little kids as the library is mostly PG 13+
* The TV is mostly in Spanish - would have probably brought a few more DVDs had we known (see above)
* We rented a car (booked through Dollar) before we left - helpful to get to bigger grocery store (Chedraui) and for excursions to Tulum, cenotes, etc.
* Puerto Aventuras is a cute, very safe feeling town - a haven from the much busier places like Playa Del Carmen
Glad we found this house. We all felt like we were getting our money's worth at this great house with a great location for a super vacation!"

"My husband and I spent a week at Rob & Sue's condo in Puerto Aventuras and had a thoroughly relaxing stay. I had never been to Mexico before and wasn't sure what to expect, but what a treat! The condo was just as advertised and a great value. We dealt with Rob via email and he was very informative and prompt in answering all our questions. Rob offered to arrange airport transfers, but we opted to rent a car so we could visit the surrounding areas. Parking was right in front of the condo. We had no issues driving in Mexico, but we stayed on the main roads and mostly traveled during daylight. The location was perfect to visit Tulum, Excaret, Playa del Carmen .... the list goes on! There was a large, clean supermarket right across the street from the community and you could get everything there, including beer and wine. The condo itself was VERY quiet and relaxing. The deck faced a lovely yard and the marina. We had some cute visitors, iguanas and agouti, in the yard and they were entertaining to watch! We needed peace and quiet and that's what we got! The pool and the ocean were only 120 steps from the front door (good luck getting that at a resort!). The beach is small and not for long walks, but you can walk/jog around the marina if you want to stretch your legs. It was fun to take a morning stroll and see the dolphins playing at the Dolphinarium. What was appealing to us was that the barrier reef was right there! We brought our snorkel gear and went out most days. The fish were amazing! So many colours and sizes .... we highly recommend the snorkeling. The condo was well equipped and we had dinner in two nights, but there was an abundance of restaurants just a stroll away. Many choices and reasonable prices. You could even get Starbucks coffee! The wifi was good and worked on the deck too. The king bed had great linens and there were plenty of towels. The community itself is pretty laid back and friendly. We met some of the neighbours from the "Sunset Club". If you were available and inclined, there were a small group of people (renters and owners) who met each night with a cocktail to watch the sunset, then they went on their way. They were a great source of info and just really welcoming and friendly! It was a great holiday, at a great condo and community and we wouldn't hesitate to go back! Thank you Rob & Sue!"

"Great condo in a little piece of heaven, this is our 3rd trip back to Puerto Aventuras. This is the 1st time we have rented from owners we normally rent condo's that are time shares & what a difference. The owners have everything you can imagine, a well stocked kitchen anything we used we just topped up. Coolers every shape & size floaters for the pool, it was well stocked with everything that we needed. We never stay at the same condo twice but we will give it some serious thought. Thanks for a great vacation."
