  • Nice Vacation

"Our 4th trip to Riviera Maya (we usually rent a house) - first time in this condo Very nice well maintained with nice owners. Comfortable beds, a short walk to beach, as described. Very nice pool. Marina side location is less windy, but could get a little hot in afternoon - but there is AC if needed. Local property manager handled any issues. We had a very nice time! We survived without a car, because you can walk to everything from this place. As another reviewer suggested .. perhaps a flatscreen TV to be able to stream movies? otherwise be sure to bring DVDs :)"

  • Great vacation place

"My wife and I spent two weeks at this comfortable well equipped condo. The balcony was a highlight for us with its views. The building was quiet and well maintained with an attractive pool. it is minutes away from the beach and restaurants and a good location from which to explore Chichen Itza,Playa del Carmen,Tulum etc."

  • Beautiful, Amazing Place

"The penthouse at Punta Roca Al Cielo is simply amazing. It is beautiful inside and out. Upon arrival the house was set up perfectly and extremely clean. The concierge was extremely helpful and responsive to all our needs. This was our third time staying in this condo and we plan to return year after year. We love everything about Puerto Aventuras and our stay at Punta Roca. The condo is great for someone with slight disabilities. The elevator seems to always be in working order. Several of the bathrooms have walk-in showers."

  • Terrific March Break Family Vacation!!!

"This was our first visit to Puerto Aventuras and Villa Del Mar and we enjoyed the condo tremendously! It is even nicer than the pictures suggest. Our family of 4 loved all of the space as it gave us plenty of room to stretch out. Everything you need in the kitchen to prepare a meal was there and I took advantage of the grocery delivery service from the property manager - very convenient. I also love the luxury of having a washer and dryer in the unit - a quick load of laundry every day meant that our suitcases coming home were full of clean clothes. The pool and grounds - wow! Two nice large pools and beautiful landscaping. We felt very safe here and it was great for our 2 kids (13 and 11) to go to the pool and the beach on their own. There are lots of chairs by the pool and the beach so no worry about not finding one even during busy season! The beach is gorgeous and there is a man made wall out front which provides a calm area in front of the complex for dipping. We ventured beyond the wall a bit and it still wasn't very deep but nice and sandy and refreshing. The people staying here were a mix of retirees and families - just a nice friendly atmosphere and quiet at night. The town itself is really cute - great to walk around and look into the shops. Our daughter did the dolphin swim and loved it. We didn't eat out too much but we did try Paparazzi Pizza (great!) and did go to Jesse's gelato for a treat a few times - which was a big hit. My husband and I ventured outside of the town gates for some tacos (Taco Paco is good but to be honest, there is a place right at the highway which is much better - just don't recall the name. 12 pesos for a taco and lots of locals eating there - a sure sign it is good!). There is also a nice big Chedruai grocery store just down the highway outside of the town gates (very walkable or a quick cab ride) to pick up more supplies. There is also a very popular fruit and vegetable market twice a week. Puerto Aventuras is in a nice central location to explore. We took the collectivo bus to Tulum to go see the ruins (go early - we did and we were so glad to be leaving when tour buses of tourists were arriving) and also to Playa for some souvenir shopping. Easy and very economical! There are tons of adventure parks in the immediate area - we didn't visit one this trip but plan to do that when we come back. The property manager was great to deal with - brought us water refills when needed and answered all of our"
