"And it was set in motion with our decision to stay at Brisa y Mar. From the moment of our arrival to the moment my wife hugged one of our hosts good bye, our entire family was in a state of vacation bliss! This Villa is simply amazing! And it all starts with Johnny and Eugenia, our gracious hosts. They are professional, super-interesting, warm folks. Buena Gente, as they say in Mexico. And they give you all the privacy you need and want. Maids are top notch and cooked us one dinner and one breakfast - yum!!
The ground floor (rental portion) is very much it's own villa. Interior is expansive, tastefully decorated, with every modern amenity necessary for a perfect vacation. As wonderful as interior of the home is, the beachfront exterior is truly magnificent. Infinity pool more than large enough to accommodate our family of four. So well designed. So much fun. Private walled beach area is immaculate, with stylish and well maintained lounge chairs seemingly everywhere, equally lovely beach bed and hammock. Our 14 year old daughter connected her smartphone to the home's entertainment system and treated us to Spotify Indie/Alternative music all week.
The public beach out past the walled part of the home is welcoming. Snorkeling gear and kayaks provided by our hosts was the perfect gear to allow full use of the warm, calm waters in front of he villa. We say several rays and tons of fish. The villa was so comfortable, accommodating, and luxurious really, we didn't book a single excursion, deciding instead to just hang out at home and chill. This was our 3rd visit to the Riviera Maya (once Cancun once Playa Del Carmen) but first time our family preferred to stay home and just chill. We did walk to town a couple of nights for amazing meals (La Sirena both times) and found the streets of the quaint town super safe even at night. Walked on the beach for equally amazing seafood lunches a couple of times as well (El Merkado and La Playita). There is a Palapa Bar a couple of hundred yards away, far enough not to affect your privacy but close enough that I utilized it every day for happy hour. :)
And those amazing sunrises... first morning there I awoke to an absolutely transcendent sunrise. A color of violet I had never seen before. I got a bit emotional, honestly.
I could go on and on about this amazing villa... but I'll end with urging anyone wanting a truly magical and peaceful vacation to book this property."

"We just returned from a week at Condo de Los Amigos. As everyone else has written, the condo is well appointed, maintained and tastefully decorated with local art. It's a quick 15 minute walk from the center of Puerto Morelos. The beach is just a hundred feet away.
The condo owners provided helpful info on favorite restaurants as well as excursions.
On our last morning-on our way to the airport! - we forgot 1 piece of luggage in the condo after we had already locked the condo and left the keys inside as instructed - there was a property management employee on site who quickly called for a key to be brought so that we could retrieve the luggage in a timely manner.
The only (ever so slight) complaint about the unit would be that the showers can be a bit tricky maintaining the proper water temperature."

"This is a beautiful condo. Marble floors, lovely bathrooms with spacious walk in showers and a beautiful kitchen. The water views are amazing from two of the three balconies and the third balcony overlooks the charming little town. We went to a near by cooking school for the day which was great fun. There is also easy access th snorkeling, fishing or just lounging by the the pristine pool or on the sugar-sand beach. The condo was immaculate. We would do this again in a heartbeat and probably will."

"We were here for a week over Christmas and loved the property, location and unit. The unit is well equipped, comfortable and nicely decorated. The balcony is good sized and provides a great view of the ocean. The overall property is well kept and has a very nice pool. Wifi is free throughout the property although we did notice it got a little slow as more people arrived. The location out of town but close to the small town of Puerto Morelos is great. I would recommend a car to make it easier to explore and get groceries. If you like snorkeling, I would recommend a drive to Akumal where you can snorkel off the town beach with sea turtles. Even though you have a beach at your doorstep, I would also recommend spending a day at the beach in Puerto Morelos just for the atmosphere. You are also within driving distance of Tulum and Coba if you want ruins. Although the condo can sleep up to six, I think more than four would feel a bit crowded. The property is best for couples who are not into nightlife and families. This is the second time we have visited this area and we would definitely recommend this property and unit. There are some condos a short walk down the beach but the Caribbean Reef villas are far superior."
