"This was my 8th visit to PM, 2nd time at Casita Blanca & 1st time in Palma's condo. We loved it! Great views, fantastic kitchen and baths, the place was clean & well stocked with linens. The couple issues we had were quickly addressed by management with fast, attentive assistance from the owner (it was on a Sunday.) I would definitely recommend this condo & owner's attentiveness & responsiveness! Looking forward to next year! Muchas gracias Palma!"

"This condo was amazing. We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The condo is on the first floor with access to beautiful pool and beach right outside the sliding glass doors. The kitchen has all you need to make lunch or dinner if you don't feel like walking to town. We did not have a car during this trip and we didn't need one. The 15 min walk to town is a breeze. Several times, we would walk to town and cab it home if it was after dark or we had heavy groceries. The pool was lovely and the beachfront is breathtaking. Puerto Morelos is one of the nicest little towns I've ever visited. Our typical day would go like this: walk to town for breakfast at El Nicho and a stroll around town. We would then stock up on snacks and drinks for the day and walk back for a day at the pool and beach. Then back to town for dinner and to see what was happening in the square. We had yummy dinners at My Little Italy (pizza, fettuccine alfredo, vino tinto!) and La Sirena. We tried a couple of the beach front restaurants and they were better for drinks and apps. After fun and food we'd catch a taxi back for 50 pesos. There was always a line of taxis close to the square. We saw lots of families traveling together in PM and thought it to be a safe and charming place if you want to go to Mexico and avoid all the craziness of Cancun or the heckling sales people in Playa. The owners were also very easy and pleasant to deal with and were there to answer any questions we had. Last tip - we used USA Transfers to get to and from the airport. It was $70 for 2 round trip and worth every penny."

"We stayed at Colleen and Nora's in April and having experienced the pleasure of staying in a private villa, I don't think I could stay at a hotel or condo again. It was wonderful to be able to hop into our own pool 4-5 times a day and enjoy the beauty that surrounded us. La Palapa was spacious and clean. The outdoor shower was a delight and a little daring. The downstairs bedroom with air conditioning was perfect for my Aunt. The windows are all screened so the breeze blew through quite nicely. They stock the kitchen well and the 2 fridges were perfect for our beverages and oh ya, one for food too. Colleen and Nora were easy to get a hold of if we needed anything and Carmen and Carlos kept everything tidy and clean. Puerto Morelos itself is small and charming with a true Mexican feel and plenty of great restaurants when we weren't BBQing at the Palapa. The beach just a little bit north of town is gorgeous with white powdery sand. I don't want to recommend this place too highly though, because there might not be any availability the next time we come to Puerto Morelos. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us."

"It's all true- all the good things in the reviews. I have to add to the praise even though we are already having trouble booking the house for the future, LOL, it's already quite popular!
So, we arrived on Easter Sunday. Knowing what a huge holiday it is in Mexico, we were nervous about crowds and so on for the week after Easter. We knew we didn't want to stay in Cancun or Playa del Carmen, but had no idea what to expect in Puerto Morelos. We got to the house around dinnertime and there were some families on the beach playing volleyball and enjoying some food and drink. The driver said "It's very crowded because Sunday is a popular beach day for Mexican families and it's Easter." I looked at the beach and let out a sigh of relief. If that was crowded, we were going to be very happy the rest of the week. And, we were.
So...the house: It truly has the best location! It's a bit more of a walk to town than we cared to do more than once or twice a day but we enjoyed it and it was a good tradeoff to have a section of beach that was largely empty. The street was not busy and we never felt unsafe, even at night. A cab would be at your service within a few minutes of calling when you didn't want to walk and was cheap. NO problem.
The house is as described and seen in the pics- perfect place to be able to be on the sand in a few steps. The shared pool was a great place to cool off and the kids loved it. My 8 year old could stand in all areas of the pool, so no diving or slides, but fun for them to play and great for relaxing.
The kitchen was GREAT and well-stocked with very nice appliances and a gas stove. We went to the grocery near the square the evenings before and got supplies for breakfasts at "home". We also had the nice maintenance man cut down some coconuts for us (tipped him to show our appreciation, of course), found some straws and stuck them in and had chilled, fresh coconut water in the mornings too! The air conditioning units worked well and we'd use them to cool the place down after the walk back from town. After the house cooled, you didn't need to keep them on (usually). The internet was spotty when we were there, through no fault of the home owners (it was a problem with the company, it seems). When it was working, it was zippy and useful. Cell service was excellent so buying a data plan was a great decision. The beds were all comfy- even my very picky husband was pleased. The kids loved the bunks and each bedroom had a bathroom- SO nice!"
