"We have now been here 4 weeks @ Ron/Liz's condo & have thoroughly enjoyed the "absolute treat" Ron promised we would find in accommodation, the Playasol complex & town of Pto. Morelos. We'd love for someone to FORCE us to stay longer but all vacations end and reality of life returns. We can't speak highly enough of our stay here at their home and Ron's helpfulness prior to our arrival. We rarely write reviews but Ron & Liz deserve this one. The information and pics they posted are true, and if anything, understated. The proximity to snorkeling and town are on target. Their condo is "home away from home" including Liz's fully stocked kitchen..nothing it doesn't have, just as they say. All the "little things" that make a home Ron/Liz are willing to share including all kitchenware and appliances. We felt "at home" the minute we walked in the door. They have taken the time to furnish their condo and it shows. The condo views are excellent and the front/back breeze provides all the natural A/C one would need. The property manager, Cece, and her staff are responsive to any needs during your stay. We have enjoyed our time here at your "home" and look forward to returning again. MUCHAS GRACIAS!!!!! Ann and Gene"

"Just returned after 10 days in this very user friendly, lovely home. It has a great location within walking distance to the town square or 30 pesos for a cab! With 4 couples we appreciated the home's multi-areas to relax. Roberto was most accommodating and within a push of a phone button away! Looking forward to a return trip in the future and a special thanks to the owners for opening up their home! Mucho Gracias!!!!!!"

"We stayed at Colleen and Nora's in April and having experienced the pleasure of staying in a private villa, I don't think I could stay at a hotel or condo again. It was wonderful to be able to hop into our own pool 4-5 times a day and enjoy the beauty that surrounded us. La Palapa was spacious and clean. The outdoor shower was a delight and a little daring. The downstairs bedroom with air conditioning was perfect for my Aunt. The windows are all screened so the breeze blew through quite nicely. They stock the kitchen well and the 2 fridges were perfect for our beverages and oh ya, one for food too. Colleen and Nora were easy to get a hold of if we needed anything and Carmen and Carlos kept everything tidy and clean. Puerto Morelos itself is small and charming with a true Mexican feel and plenty of great restaurants when we weren't BBQing at the Palapa. The beach just a little bit north of town is gorgeous with white powdery sand. I don't want to recommend this place too highly though, because there might not be any availability the next time we come to Puerto Morelos. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us."

"We were here for a week over Christmas and loved the property, location and unit. The unit is well equipped, comfortable and nicely decorated. The balcony is good sized and provides a great view of the ocean. The overall property is well kept and has a very nice pool. Wifi is free throughout the property although we did notice it got a little slow as more people arrived. The location out of town but close to the small town of Puerto Morelos is great. I would recommend a car to make it easier to explore and get groceries. If you like snorkeling, I would recommend a drive to Akumal where you can snorkel off the town beach with sea turtles. Even though you have a beach at your doorstep, I would also recommend spending a day at the beach in Puerto Morelos just for the atmosphere. You are also within driving distance of Tulum and Coba if you want ruins. Although the condo can sleep up to six, I think more than four would feel a bit crowded. The property is best for couples who are not into nightlife and families. This is the second time we have visited this area and we would definitely recommend this property and unit. There are some condos a short walk down the beach but the Caribbean Reef villas are far superior."
