"It's all true- all the good things in the reviews. I have to add to the praise even though we are already having trouble booking the house for the future, LOL, it's already quite popular!
So, we arrived on Easter Sunday. Knowing what a huge holiday it is in Mexico, we were nervous about crowds and so on for the week after Easter. We knew we didn't want to stay in Cancun or Playa del Carmen, but had no idea what to expect in Puerto Morelos. We got to the house around dinnertime and there were some families on the beach playing volleyball and enjoying some food and drink. The driver said "It's very crowded because Sunday is a popular beach day for Mexican families and it's Easter." I looked at the beach and let out a sigh of relief. If that was crowded, we were going to be very happy the rest of the week. And, we were.
So...the house: It truly has the best location! It's a bit more of a walk to town than we cared to do more than once or twice a day but we enjoyed it and it was a good tradeoff to have a section of beach that was largely empty. The street was not busy and we never felt unsafe, even at night. A cab would be at your service within a few minutes of calling when you didn't want to walk and was cheap. NO problem.
The house is as described and seen in the pics- perfect place to be able to be on the sand in a few steps. The shared pool was a great place to cool off and the kids loved it. My 8 year old could stand in all areas of the pool, so no diving or slides, but fun for them to play and great for relaxing.
The kitchen was GREAT and well-stocked with very nice appliances and a gas stove. We went to the grocery near the square the evenings before and got supplies for breakfasts at "home". We also had the nice maintenance man cut down some coconuts for us (tipped him to show our appreciation, of course), found some straws and stuck them in and had chilled, fresh coconut water in the mornings too! The air conditioning units worked well and we'd use them to cool the place down after the walk back from town. After the house cooled, you didn't need to keep them on (usually). The internet was spotty when we were there, through no fault of the home owners (it was a problem with the company, it seems). When it was working, it was zippy and useful. Cell service was excellent so buying a data plan was a great decision. The beds were all comfy- even my very picky husband was pleased. The kids loved the bunks and each bedroom had a bathroom- SO nice!"

"We were here for a week over Christmas and loved the property, location and unit. The unit is well equipped, comfortable and nicely decorated. The balcony is good sized and provides a great view of the ocean. The overall property is well kept and has a very nice pool. Wifi is free throughout the property although we did notice it got a little slow as more people arrived. The location out of town but close to the small town of Puerto Morelos is great. I would recommend a car to make it easier to explore and get groceries. If you like snorkeling, I would recommend a drive to Akumal where you can snorkel off the town beach with sea turtles. Even though you have a beach at your doorstep, I would also recommend spending a day at the beach in Puerto Morelos just for the atmosphere. You are also within driving distance of Tulum and Coba if you want ruins. Although the condo can sleep up to six, I think more than four would feel a bit crowded. The property is best for couples who are not into nightlife and families. This is the second time we have visited this area and we would definitely recommend this property and unit. There are some condos a short walk down the beach but the Caribbean Reef villas are far superior."

"It's so depressing to be packing up my belongings and leaving this wonderful spot in paradise tomorrow! What an extraordinary week I've had! The condo has everything you could want...especially a fantastic view!! I can't tell you the countless hours that I spent on the balcony just listening to the ocean and enjoying the peacefulness of the complex. Caesar, the groundskeeper, works diligently to keep the grounds pristine. I want to take him back to the US with me!! I wish my yard was this manicured! Nina, the lady that cleans, is an absolute gem. You never see her without a smile on her face...so precious! Roberto, the property manager, makes sure your every need is attended to quickly. I had a tough time deciding whether to go to the beach or pool each day...both were so inviting! This condo has a king bed (it says queen but I think it may be a king) and a single in the bedroom. There are two futons in the living area, so it would sleep five people. Even though I was here alone for a week of R & R, I could have easily shared the condo with several others. It had plenty of space and included a safe, a water dispenser, coffee pot, blender, small microwave...everything you need! All appliances worked great! There is an a/c in the living area and one in the bedroom. There was always a cool ocean breeze, even in July, and I never even turned on the one in the living area. Open up all the windows and enjoy the gentle breezes of the Caribbean! I'd wake up in the morning, fix my coffee, sit on the balcony and just enjoy the tranquil breaking of dawn. The beach was crowded on Sunday, but other days it was almost like it belonged to me! The town is a short 10 minute walk. The restaurants are all delicious...Tacos.com, Las Palmeras, and Chimichurri were my favorite. Don't hesitate to take a taxi over to the Colonia to Fonda Americana. There are many other great places to eat...as a matter of fact, I haven't found a place I don't like yet!! Go out and support them!
I stayed in another condo at Casita Blanca four years ago and had honestly forgotten how much I loved this place. You just can't go wrong booking this complex for your stay in paradise! You'll love it!! I can't wait to return!!"

"These 3 weeks (we are Europeans and have this much of time :-)) of X-mas vacation with our grown-up girls plus boyfriends was already our 4th visit to the Riviera Maya; our second (after 2014) in Puerto Morelos.
We have rented luxury villas all over the Caribbean in the past 20 years; and Brisa Y Mar was one of the very best.
New, modern villa; 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, generous living space, fully equipped kitchen, everything very tastefully furnished, clean and totally state-of-the-art; great location right at the beach, walking distance (5 minutes) to the village center, private little pool, great terrace and a breathtaking view from the living area and the bedrooms to witness the sunrise and watch the things going on in and out of the beautiful sea.
You cannot make it any better and we will be back for sure.
The owners Eugenia and Johny, who live upstairs in this huge new house, are so nice and a great help for organizing everything from private catering to taxi transfers … ; so we got real friends with them. Thank you both for a more than perfect "home-away-from-home"."
