"We just returned from a week at Condo de Los Amigos. As everyone else has written, the condo is well appointed, maintained and tastefully decorated with local art. It's a quick 15 minute walk from the center of Puerto Morelos. The beach is just a hundred feet away.
The condo owners provided helpful info on favorite restaurants as well as excursions.
On our last morning-on our way to the airport! - we forgot 1 piece of luggage in the condo after we had already locked the condo and left the keys inside as instructed - there was a property management employee on site who quickly called for a key to be brought so that we could retrieve the luggage in a timely manner.
The only (ever so slight) complaint about the unit would be that the showers can be a bit tricky maintaining the proper water temperature."

"We just returned from a week’s stay at Casa de Suenos in the 6-unit Sol y Luna condos. What a beautiful space – we loved the condo! It was immaculate and spacious, with tons of light and fresh breezes. The aqua and white décor enhances the beach-y feel. The pictures in the photos are really the way it is. You can see the ocean from the back balcony; furniture and beds are very comfortable. Karl is very responsive, and Ramon (manager who lives nearby) was also very responsive. The condo is located less than one block from the water. There is a beach bar/food establishment (Unico) that is only a few steps from the beach entrance. We rented chairs and umbrellas there and parked ourselves for hours, gazing at the water, swimming now and then, and reading. (The shrimp wraps from Unico are delicious!)
We cooked a bit at the condo, but mostly ate out. Food in PM is fantastic! (and not expensive). While you are there, try to get to the Jungle Spa for a Mayan massage. We didn’t stay long enough for further adventures, but next time cenotes and snorkeling at the reef for sure! Also next time we will rent bikes to ride to town and back. The distance from the condo is walkable, but if we had had bikes we would have explored the side streets and beyond. We didn’t rent a car, but the taxi system is very organized and taxis are cheap, so we used them liberally.
Puerto Morelos is a small, quiet town with super friendly people. We felt completely safe there. Our biggest problem, like a lot of other visitors to PM, was that we didn’t stay long enough!"

"These 3 weeks (we are Europeans and have this much of time :-)) of X-mas vacation with our grown-up girls plus boyfriends was already our 4th visit to the Riviera Maya; our second (after 2014) in Puerto Morelos.
We have rented luxury villas all over the Caribbean in the past 20 years; and Brisa Y Mar was one of the very best.
New, modern villa; 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, generous living space, fully equipped kitchen, everything very tastefully furnished, clean and totally state-of-the-art; great location right at the beach, walking distance (5 minutes) to the village center, private little pool, great terrace and a breathtaking view from the living area and the bedrooms to witness the sunrise and watch the things going on in and out of the beautiful sea.
You cannot make it any better and we will be back for sure.
The owners Eugenia and Johny, who live upstairs in this huge new house, are so nice and a great help for organizing everything from private catering to taxi transfers … ; so we got real friends with them. Thank you both for a more than perfect "home-away-from-home"."

"Simple, beautiful, and had all necessary functionality. This place is a great place to base out of and really worked well for us, very safe, clean and provides easy access to the beach. We cooked meals about 50% of the time and ate elsewhere the rest. The walk is not bad either on the beach or road, no car was necessary as the taxis can be found with ease. We did a guided trip to Tulum, Coba and Cenotes, highly recommend going to Paco at Seven Days Snorkeling for setting up any trips as he will get you a very fair price with minimal negotiations. Be sure to ask him to arrange any of the sight seeing trips with guide and driver in a Suburban if your group is small enough because they can do it for the same price and it's just your group instead of being mixed in with a group. I could go on and on about our trip, fished two days with Alex on King Mackerel (Paco setup) and it was great times with 7 tries day one and 3 on day two. We only landed one Barracuda but we had chances.
Overall, lovely time in a very nice place. Thank you for sharing."
