"Our own private get away. 3 bed,3 bath and pool. A 20 min. walk to town which isn't bad really. Or stop a cab and for less then $5.00 us. you can go anywhere you want. The house is outstanding. Very clean it felt like home. We loved it."

"Wow did we ever hit a home run with Casa Paraiso!!!
My wife, two grown kids and I, really felt special staying here.
The photo's are representative of the condo but don't really do it justice. It's a really wonderful place with a great layout. The balcony off the living room and master bedroom added a cool dimension. The roof top, oh the roof top...we spent so much time up there. We had our morning latte's there (we brought our own portable unit, but Starbuck's is 50 steps away). We had our afternoon cocktails there. We had our nightcap there. We thought the spiral staircase in the photo was sketchy, but it was fine and had no problem even when carrying dos cervezas.
The location was perfect. Right off 5th to go for a stroll and people watch. But also far enough off 5th that it was quite inside the condo. We could hear music from the bar next door when we were on the roof top but it was to our liking.
Coincidently, my daughter's friend and family were in Playa staying at a hotel, They came over and were blown away. They'll probably stay here next time they are in Playa.
The four of us did our PADI Open Water Diver certification with Scuba Playa. They are fantastic and so was our instructor Ace. We did the theory portion online, because really, who wants to be inside when in PLaya. We then did a dive with Bull Sharks and a day in Cozumel. Awesome!!!
We took Kris's suggestion and hired Marinoh as driver to/from the airport. He gave us a quick tour of places around the condo and suggested a few authentic Mexican restaurants. Los Aqua Chilies just off of 5th had really fresh seafood. Don Sirloin was a real hit too. We found restaurants off of 5th we typically 1/2 the price and same or better quality.
We rented a car for the day and went to Coba, Grand Cenote and Akumal to snorkel with the turtles. Long day but we'd do it again.
We would definitely come back here.

"We spent a week at condo and loved it! It was my husband and I and our 2 teenage daughters. The condo had everything we needed, with everything working and in good condition. We absolutely loved the vicinity to the beach and morning coffee looking out at the ocean. Because my daughter had a knee injury 2 weeks before our planned vacation, she was in a knee brace and crutches. This limited our excursions, so we spent a lot of time at the condo, pools and beach. Not only was the property clean and tidy, but we felt completely safe and well taken care of. I did not hear any negative reports from any of the other guests, who were staying at various condos throughout the property. There were families with babies, teenagers and retired couples. A mixture of very nice people.
We did not rent a car except for one day that we rented a jeep and drove around the island. We have always used just taxis for Mexico, but when we return, we will definitely rent a car for the entire stay. The taxi cab generally ran about $15USD each way between town and the condo. And about $25USD each way to the airport and back. The driving seemed more reasonable on the island than other places we've been in Mexico and I think we would be perfectly comfortable driving there.
There are two big grocery stores in town and it was easy to find food and items that we were familiar with. The grocery store gives you the option of paying with USD, Pesos or credit card.
Down the beach is Carlos and Charlies and a couple other Beach Clubs. Our first visit was on a Sunday (no cruise ships) and it was rather quiet and we had excellent service. When we returned later in the week, when cruise ships were in town and during spring break, it was quite different! It was fun to people-watch but a bit crazy too! It was a fun atmosphere, good lunch and just steps from condo.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better location. We prefer quiet to crowds and we were not disappointed. The condo was lovely and the beach was stunning! Again, when we stay again, we will rent a car to add to the flexibility and hopefully no crutches!!
Thank you Fulvio for all your help!!"

"My wife and I usually stay at resorts, so I thought this time we would try a condo close to the beach. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made. :) It's close to the beach one way, and just a little further the other direction to 5th Avenue. Everything is within walking distance; restaurants, bars, stores, it's awesome.
The condo itself is wonderful. Everything you could ever want or need is available. It is clean and very comfortable. A full kitchen with utensils, etc., everything in the listing. The infinity pool is wonderful as well, very clean and well-maintained. And the there's the view from the pool out to the beach and ocean. It has to be seen, it's awesome. The owner is very prompt with answering questions and is a pleasure to deal with, everything was easy about the rental.
I could probably say alot more, but everything in these reviews is accurate and we will definitely be renting here again."
