  • Villas Silvia was more then we expected

"We stayed here for almost two weeks. The condo was perfect for my husband and myself for a relaxing comfortable stay. The condo is well appointed with everything we needed. Lots of towels, dishes and other extras. The bed was comfortable and huge. Very open airy space. Open the windows and put on the fans and that's all you need, never used the air conditioner and it was perfect temperature all the time. Had wifi, a tiny bit spotty had to occasionally stand in the right place, but not a big bother. The satellite tv was experiencing some difficulty which Susy the property manager tried to get fixed but couldn't while we were there. No big deal to us as we didn't get to paradise to watch tv. Everything you could want to cooking in or a short 10 min walk to some of the best restaurants. Some of our favs were Little Italy for the best calzone, el nicho I think it was called by the book store for amazing eggs Benny, and el pesquero for wonderful shrimp dinner and sea bass. Oh my wish I'd known that I'd of eaten there every night. Close walk to the Center of town, or a shorter bike ride. Kudos to the bikes. The beach was a short walk and found great beach snorkelling in front of the orange apartment building on the beach. Loved that we had beach chairs umbrella and a cooler for our ice cold cerveza. Easy to shop for most things at the oxxo, the vegetable store, best fresh squeezed orange juice ever, and Casa Martin . Did a bigger shop at the supermarket in colonia. Took a bus there cheap cheap. What can I say the whole trip was fantastic. Special thanks to Renee the owner for your wonderful condo, Susy the manager for her attention to detail and always being there. Bright smiling face. And Felipe for getting us where we needed to go. Please if you want a special trip in a special place 1B villa Silvia is your go to in puerto Morelos Enjoy."

  • Tastefully decorated 2 Bedroom Condo in a great location-Paseo del Sol in Playacar, MX

"We rented this 2 bedroom condo from November 7 to 25,2014 in the Paseo del Sol complex which houses about 4 three story buildings containing roughly 65 owner occupied and rental condo units. Paseo del Sol complex is located in Playacar, a gated community, containing residences and several all-inclusive hotel resorts. The area is both safe and secure. Paseo del Sol has 24 hour security. It is about a 15 minute walk (7 to 9 peso taxi ride) to 5th Avenue and surrounding area where the shopping district is located along with a number of great restaurants. This 2 bedroom spacious condo unit was tastefully decorated/appointed containing excellent quality furniture and furnishings. It was a bright and light corner unit on the main/ground level of the complex, called Reef 106. The kitchen was fully equipped and the unit contained a washer/dryer. Bottled drinking water containers are delivered to the condo as required/requested,with maid/cleaning service provided when requested, with a meaningful tip for the cleaning lady. We went to several excellent restaurants, just off 5th Avenue, including Oh Lala, Imprevist, Como Como and the Plank. We also ordered on-line having groceries brought to the condo for a nominal price, as well we ordered pizza from a restaurant called Amore and very good Thai food from a takeout restaurant owned by Oh Lala which was delivered to our condo. We enjoyed our stay in the condo. A great location. The office and cleaning staff was very good. We would recommend."

  • Excellent Accommodations

"We all (two couples) enjoyed our stay at Casa Maria very much, with the exception of the sea weed that is plaguing the entire Costa Maya and even in the Gulf. The house is very nicely furnished with all that you will need. If you cook alot the kitchen is well furnished but little in the way of seasonings and condiments so buy what you need in that regard. The charcoal BBQ was kind of difficult to get going but with practice should work fine. If you drive up and down the coastline you can find places to snorkel where the sea weed is not so concentrated. I understand that this is a very unusual year for the abundance of sea weed. We dined at Mayan Gardens and it was okay... kind of stifling as the dining area is set back behind the accommodations which block the sea breeze. Our favorite place to dine in Mahahual was at the very south end of the Malecon at a place called noch-kay (or something similar) which was a very casual place and their shrimp dishes are delicious... we tried them all, and the prices were very reasonable. I was surprised that even when the cruise ships were in, that town was still enjoyable and not overly crowded. The malecon definitely rolls up early, around sixish, so get there early to dine. Claudio lined us up with a fishing trip out of Mahahual that was really fun and fruitful... the fellas each caught 50 lb groupers impressing even the locals. It worked out to about $55 an hour for all four of us with only two fishing at a time. Erik also caught a nice barracuda which apparently are abundant in the area. Sting rays are also abundant in the area so watch when walking in the shallows... I saw several during our stay when snorkeling, one extremely large one. We went to see two of the ruins which were both really nice and the drive inland was beautiful. I think it was Kohunilich and Dzbaniche (or something like that). Claudio was very kind and helpful when needed and he also speaks very good english. All in all, another wonderful trip to the Costa Maya :) Thank you for sharing!!"
