"This was our second stay at Casa Blanca. We were all thrilled to return. As my daughter said, “It’s like coming home.” Andrew’s casita is central to everything, yet off the tourist track. As a result, we really got a feel for being in Mexico. The neighbourhood is varied, with a lively cantina just a door away, restaurants within walking distance in every direction, and a mix of residences. Just watching the people go by on the street was interesting! That being said, once we closed the front door and retreated to the back yard, we had complete privacy. Miguel, the friendly property manager/groundskeeper keeps the swimming pool sparkling clean. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are loads of linens. My daughter slept on one of the fold-out futons in the living room, while my son occupied a bedroom. My husband and I took the bedroom with the lovely ensuite at the back. I believe that the house could comfortably hold a slightly larger crowd, as there is a second bathroom that all can access.
We spent a lot of our time scuba diving and snorkeling. Outside the house there is a shower where we were able to rinse our gear at the end of the day. Because we’re Canadian and starved for sunlight, we spent a LOT of our time at the beach. One of my regrets is that although we were in Cozumel for two weeks, we didn’t spend enough time just relaxing at the house! I think that I’ve fallen in love with the island. Casa Blanca has made this relationship possible. Thanks, Andrew!"
