  • Breathtaking, relaxing, convenient

"We were greeted when we arrived at Casa Dena by Armando. Exhausted from a long day of flying he made us feel welcomed and showed us around. He told us which restaurants were close by so we could have dinner. We were amazed by the care of Armando and Daisy, great cooks and helpful in every way. The location of the casa was great as so many activities are close by, that we did not have to drive far to have a great day of fun. Honestly some days we just relaxed and hung out. Steve was awesome at answering any questions we had and giving us information we needed. So many great restaurants from Ziggy's in Tulum, to Blue Sky and Chamico's right down the road. Food was incredible in Mexico, never had a bad meal. The casa had everything we needed, fresh towels and clean rooms every day thanks to Daisy and laundry when we needed it done. The service was top notch!! Spent some days in Akumal and Playa Del Carmen also one day at the ruins in Tulum, so much to do and a cenote right down thee street from the house .. You will be impressed. Thank you to Steve, Armando and Daisy. We had a blast...."

  • WE LOVED IT!

"The only reason I left a star off was for the massive amounts of seaweed that blanketed the beach while we were there which unfortunately brought out the bugs afterwards. Other than that, we loved Casa Amor! It stayed more than cool enough in the beach hut with the ocean breeze constantly blowing in and with the windows open you can fall asleep listening to the waves! Finding places to eat is not a problem at all, whatever you need is within walking distance. As far as things to do while you're there, you will probably have to take a taxi or at least rent a bike to go to the Tulum Ruins. Overall this place is amazing and well worth the money to stay in paradise!"

  • Perfect!

"My husband, my two young daughters (ages 7 and 3) and I stayed for a week at this wonderful condo. We loved Tulum and all there is to see around the area. As others have mention, you feel very safe staying at this villa. It has everything you need - easy parking, beautiful and quiet pool, beach and bath towels, washer and dryer, well equipped kitchen, sand and pool toys, reliable Wifi... We had a rental car and were glad we did as it is a bit of a walk or bike ride into town and quite a bit farther to get to the beach. It was not a big deal at all to drive and park in town or the beach area but just a heads up!"

  • Great getaway

"We stayed at Casa Sophia for a week in December 2014, and will return if we can. It's a unique experience in a a unique location. The house is comfortable and the beach is gorgeous and perfect for long walks. The views from the terraces are dazzling. The staff is absolutely lovely -- inobtrusive and yet always there when we needed them, or were just about to need them. Of course the flip side to the sense of being far from civilisation is that it is a bit of a hassle to get to civilisation when you want it (or even to get it to come to you). However, the road was in good shape during our visit and there are some fantastic places to eat just a few kilometres up the road, just outside of the reserve. The hotel next door has now closed, so going there for meals is no longer an option and expect to pay a surcharge for chef services or grocery deliveries, etc. but for us, this was well worth it just for being where we were."
