  • Love this place!

"We stayed here for 10 days and nights and absolutely loved it. So secluded and beautiful, pristine beach and water that was all ours, a fabulous open house and to top it all off David and Miriam were amazing, David's cooking superb. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get a way from it all. We loved it and hope to be back."

  • Road Trip Worthy

"If you are up for a little adventure, this is the place for you. we love that this is luxury jungle living. I mean who gets great food, wifi, and pillow top mattress in such a remote place. The road was a bit rough but we were prepared and pretty much new what to expect. So take your time and enjoy the views along with way. Bring bug spray, a flash and definitely need a good book. Plenty of hammocks to pick from. lots of beaches to walk and if you want they will take you to the ruins near the property. The staff are very trustworthy and helpful. All the cabanas have the owners unique personality built into them with drift wood and natural accents. The Tree Top Cabana is a must for a quiet romantic stay… one of my favs...Cant wait to get back."

  • WOW!!

"This property is a knockout. The beach and pool are beautiful with a non- stop ocean breeze. This is a favorite spot for sea turtles to nest and hatch. It was my first opportunity to see these great creatures laying, and I can't wait to get back to see them hatching. A short walk will get you to an incredible cenote/dive shop or to a beach lunch of fresh fish fried whole to a crispy brown. The friendly staff is eager to please."

  • Swiss Family Robinson style vacation - perfectly tropical, secluded, and peaceful!

"We stayed here with a group of friends, 3 couples total and this place was perfect! This is truly off the beaten path with amazing views and a beautiful beach right out your doorstep. We hardly saw anyone while we were there and you can walk miles either direction on the beach without seeing anyone and with uninterrupted views of the Caribbean. There is lots of privacy and the rooms are very comfortable, all have an ocean view. We went in April which was perfect weather and the open air vibe of the place made it very comfortable day and night. Located in the Sian Ka'an biosphere it really is off the grid with solar power and no TV, internet, etc but still has comfortable modern conveniences like running water, hot showers and full kitchens. We did some day excursions to Tulum to see the ruins, a cenote, and ate at a couple of the restaurants on the hotel strip on the way to the house, but we spent most of our time at the house relaxing on the beach and playing cards, reading, swimming, etc. Bringing a vehicle is necessary to stay here and it takes about 45 minutes to trek into town but the remoteness is what lends Caphe Ha its charm. As to be expected in the middle of the biosphere, there is wildlife but it stays outside the rooms for the most part. I recommend bringing a flashlight as it gets very dark at night and its necessary to see when walking between buildings but also makes for awesome star gazing. Roberto and Manuela are the caretakers who live on the property and were extremely helpful with anything we needed. And the best part of it all was truly Manuela's amazing cooking. Anyone who does not hire her to cook meals during their stay will sorely regret it as it is the best food we have ever tasted (and that's coming from a bunch of foodies with high standards)! She cooked two main meals a day for us and also helped keep the place clean, so worth it! Overall we left refreshed, well fed, and content. Caphe Ha is the perfect tropical getaway for anyone wanting a relaxing vacation off the beaten path spiced with a little adventure."
