"A little scared to give this review because I would like to keep this place to ourselves but I can't be there all year long :)
This villa was exactly what I needed to get away from life. My best friends and I wanted a vacation that had a swimming pool, views of ocean, zen, safe and all the modern amenities you might need. Large enough to where no one feels on top of each other but still cozy for morning coffee and sunset dinners together. Eugenia is an amazing hostess and her staff takes care of everything you can dream of. After her first greeting with you on your on arrival you never have to feel that like someone is watching you because they give you your space. We played music all day & night plus laughed and enjoyed ourselves. Wendy is the housekeeper who will keep the place clean and cook breakfast for you daily just remember that Sunday everyone typically is off so plan ahead. Grocery store, fruit stand and lots yummy restaurants are walking distance. Beach bars are also close by when you need a quick frozen cocktail... we loved My Paradise beach club for drinks plus it is close by but don't fear still far enough so you don't have to worry about having a loud bar right next door. Eugenia set up a yoga class for me which is actually on the 3rd floor of the villa and Melissa was fantastic - I recommend if you love yoga set up a few classes.
Definitely working on my calendar to figure out when I can come back for another escape from reality and just watch the ocean."

"This is a patch of paradise in the fascinating, lively town of San Miguel on Cozumel. We arrived to the sound of song birds and the bubbling of a stone fountain. The back yard is an oasis with pool surrounded by banana trees, but be prepared to be watched by iguanas and birds when you swim! Inside, the sea blue exterior gives way to the warm colours of the sun and luxurious, tasteful decor. The eating and living areas and spacious and welcoming. I loved the fact that the bedrooms are all different colours, all tied together with the island theme, and each has a balcony where we sipped wine and listened to the sounds of Cozumel. Even better, the Hacienda is walking distance to the waterfront shops and restaurants, and close to many spectacular beaches. I didn't want to leave!"

"This was our first trip South and it was a perfect location for us. It was close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The fridge is larger now than in the picture and the condo was as pretty as it looks online. As can happen in high humidity areas, the bedroom was a bit musty but some Febreeze took care of that and I had no trouble (I admit I have a very sensitive nose - my husband didn't notice it at all). Staff were helpful and courteous. It is close to the clubs and as we were there during a festival week, we needed earplugs at night but they completely blocked the background beat and we slept like babies. During the day noise was minimal. Beds were firm and comfy. Pool was a great place to have a dip after a hot day. We felt very safe there and I'd recommend it to anyone. We had breakfast in the condo every day and cooked our own dinner four evenings. There are two grocery stores within walking distance (Walmart and Mega) with good meat and veg selection. Walmart had Splenda, lemonade concentrate and tequila, so I made some field expedient low-sugar margaritas! We had a great time and came back with Pesos in our pocket. I'd highly recommend it for the independent traveler or couple who wants something different than an all inclusive. An extra chair to take the air on the patio would be a nice addition. The owner was very considerate and helpful. I would recommend this condo to my friends."

"Thank you Monica for sharing with us your access to Sun Palace Resort. I am glad we found you! The resort was heaven, specially the private patio in our Presidential Suite. Corner room with oceanview...so relaxing. My husband and I were so thrilled when we entered our suite. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi every sunset. The Romantic Dinner was so perfect for our 25th wedding anniversary. Actually, the entire stay in Sun Palace was a blessing.
Looking forward to work with you again and to try other Palace resorts."
