  • Perfect Playa Home

"My family and I stayed at Casa Blanca for one week. There were 2 couples 55+, 2 couples age 30s, a 4 and a 2 year old. The house had 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms. The upstairs was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 small children because of the daybed and trundle. Well stocked kitchen with appliances including grill. The pool and hottub were outstanding. Perfect size, warm water, shallow area for the children and always open. Location was perfect. The beach was less than 1 block away and more secluded in playacar than the downtown area. Downtown/5th avenue was a 10 min walk by road or beach. The property was clean and the staff were friendly and professional. The owner was great to work with as well with quick responses and friendly emails. I would strongly recommend this property and if we return to Playa we will rent it again."

  • Beautiful apartment, wonderful location

"We stayed here for a week and had such a wonderful time. The apartment is perfect, beautifully furnished and well equpit. We travelled with 9 month baby and she loved it. The shared pool is very nice and never too busy. There is tons of private space with a nice balcony and roof top, all with sea view. The location is lovely and peaceful but only a short walk from 5th avenue. We loved exploring the quiet end of 5th avenue and found some lovely restaurants. There is also a beach club 5 minute walk away which did great food. I can't recommend this apartment enough."

  • Luxury - Beachfront - Relaxing - What more do you need?

"My wife, two kids and I were impressed from the moment we arrived. Gated, covered parking, beautiful entry way, and views that say relax, relax, and relax. We couldn't have asked for more. Beautiful decor and furnishings made us feel like we were at a 10 star resort. Gia did an amazing job taking care of us and keeping the condo in tip top shape every day. This place was roomy, clean, classy, and comfortable. Beds, linens, hot water, water pressure, appliances... all were top notch. Plenty of pillows, ceiling fans and cross ventilation kept us at the perfect temperature day and night. Air conditioners worked great when we chose to use them. This location is excellent. Far enough south to enjoy pristine, uncrowded beaches, walk to snorkeling, on the main bus route, and a convenience store across the street if you need some basic items or some extra pesos to take the bus into town. Our 2 kids, ages 9 and 11, enjoyed boogie boarding every day and the clean, heated, uncrowded pool. This was perfect for a low key family vacation that allowed for lots of uninterrupted, uncrowded quality family time. An added bonus was walking down the beach to the south point and seeing huge wild iguanas roaming about. Marty was a pleasure to work with. We felt safe and the staff was always friendly and wiling to help if needed. If you're looking for beautiful, luxurious, comfortable, convenient accommodations that beg for relaxation, indoors and out, consider this is your next vacation rental. I guarantee, you will not be disappointed."

  • Walls-Villa Alegria

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff and accommodations, far exceeded expectations. House was clean, nice, and the location was great. Only critique I would offer is that the air conditioner in the master bedroom has a very loud humming / rattling that would remain for most of the time when we were sleeping. But overall, we had an amazing time, and the staff both in the states as well as Mexico were fantastic. Thank you."

Quintana Roo Travel Tips

Quintana Roo has Perfect Beaches and Much More

The Mexican state of Quintana Roo is on the eastern part of Yucatán Peninsula. It is home to some of the best vacation areas in the country. Some visitors come seeking activity all day and dancing all night; others come for the tranquility of large beaches and warm seas. While the capital city of Quintana Roo is Chetumal, the state also includes Cancún, the islands of Cozumel, Isla Mujheres, and towns such as Bacalar, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Playa del Carmen. Other places to visit are Puerto Juárez, Akumal, and Puerto Morelos. Remnants of the ancient Mayan civilization abound here, such as at Chaccbhoben, Coba, Kohunlich, Muyil, Tulum, Xel-Há, and Xcaret. And that is just a few! This is a large area, great for mixing relaxing on the beach with some water sports thrown in and day trips in an array of beautiful towns and ancient ruins.

Being geared to tourism, Quintana Roo is easy to explore and most people coming here take advantage of the many options to get around the area. Most choose to arrive via Cancún International Airport and many take a rental car option for maximum freedom to explore. Many choose Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals for the same reasons.

Beaches, Water Sports and Theme Parks Galore

Cancún, known as the Mexican Caribbean, sits on the Yucatán Channel and is a world-famous tourist location. Visitors here will enjoy some of the best beaches in the world with an exceptional amount of water sports, such as diving, swimming with dolphins and deep sea fishing. A short ferry ride takes visitors to the beautiful Isla Mujeres and one of the many attractions here is the incredible seafood! The island is a favorite for those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving on the many coral reefs. Another major attraction here is the facility for the rescue and breeding of sea turtles. Cancún has great shopping and a variety of theme parks, such as Xplor, Xcaret Eco Park and Xel-Ha.

For those who find the lure of exploration, the Riviera Maya will be a great experience. People come here for the archaeological sites, such as Coba and Tulum.

The town of Bacalar sits on a lagoon of the same name. This beautiful town dates from the 16th century and has a fascinating history of piracy. The 17th-century Fortress de San Felipe Bacalar is now a wonderful tourist attraction.

Those seeking quieter Quintana Roo Mexico resorts have many options to choose from. Puerto Morelos, with its mangrove swamp, or Akumal, meaning "place of the turtles" would make great options. There are many smaller resorts that are less crowded but with equally wonderful beaches and shopping. They are also within close proximity to larger towns for more lively activities.

Archaeological Sites to See

No visit to Quintana Roo Mexico condos is complete without exploring some of the incredible ancient sites in this region. Visitors will enjoy heading into the jungle to visit these sites. Bonampak is famous for its graphic murals of human sacrifice! Kohunlich, Dzibanche and Oxtankah are famous for the lush jungle, exotic birds and wildlife. Bring your bathing suit to Tulum, the "Walled City" where the beach is next to the site. Visitors can view the Fresco remnants before heading for a swim. Accessible by river via long boats is Yaxchilan. Deep in the Chiapas jungle, this site includes several Mayan ruins and is well worth a visit.

Make Your Vacation Perfect with the Perfect Accommodation

Visitors to Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals will find a huge variety of accommodation options available. Whether it is a spacious home in the heart of the city or a condo close to a quiet beach, you will find the perfect option. Rather than being bound to a room, these homes offer the space to relax and enjoy a welcoming environment. Homes are equipped with everything required to make a perfect vacation even better.
