  • Condo Nirvana

"Our family enjoyed our stay at Condo Nirvana very much. It was clean and well maintained. It was exactly as the pictures depicted. I would not have a problem recommending this condo to our friends. Both the owner Stu, and the manager Mike answered all our emails that we had sent with questions and were very helpful. The condo is at the northern end of Playa del Carmen. It was half a block to the beach. The beach was also excellent. There are dozens of restaurants nearby. We really liked the area."

  • Perfect Getaway

"Villa Amistad is the perfect getaway. This lovely multi-level house has it all, oceanfront views, luxurious infinity pool, first rate furnishings, very comfortable bedrooms and a rooftop palapa. With it's convenient location near the center of town, guests have no need for a car. Restaurants, shops, ferry terminal and even North Beach are all within walking distance. Can't wait to return to Villa Amistad!"

  • Great oceanfront views!

"Ocean views were amazing! Yes, pool deck sun is gone by mid afternoon but you have a great beach to make up for it. Road noise and Senor Frogs across street can be heard at night from both bedrooms since they back up to lagoon side. Workout room with steam unit was nice. Massages on beach or in spa were cheap. Pool bar staff was very friendly but beware if you are ordering mixed drinks. One of the two vodka bottles was water not vodka and we saw others also asking server to make stiffer. All in all, would recommend staying at this unit and I feel like we got a good deal from owner."

  • Luxurious Cancun Vacation at La Amada - FIVE STARS!!!

"This condo is GORGEOUS! It is very modern and tastefully decorated. The balcony overlooks a vast green jungle and my friend and I enjoyed eating breakfast out there every morning. The kitchen is huge and has all of the pots/pans/cooking utensils you'll need to make yummy meals. The bathroom is spacious and you feel like you're at the fanciest hotel you've ever been to. There is even a bathtub in case you're tired from all of the relaxation you're doing at the beach! The condo is extremely clean and well-maintained. Friendly property manager, friendly condo owners and friendly resort staff - everything went very smoothly. Highly recommend if you're interested in a luxurious vacation!"

Quintana Roo Travel Tips

Quintana Roo has Perfect Beaches and Much More

The Mexican state of Quintana Roo is on the eastern part of Yucatán Peninsula. It is home to some of the best vacation areas in the country. Some visitors come seeking activity all day and dancing all night; others come for the tranquility of large beaches and warm seas. While the capital city of Quintana Roo is Chetumal, the state also includes Cancún, the islands of Cozumel, Isla Mujheres, and towns such as Bacalar, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Playa del Carmen. Other places to visit are Puerto Juárez, Akumal, and Puerto Morelos. Remnants of the ancient Mayan civilization abound here, such as at Chaccbhoben, Coba, Kohunlich, Muyil, Tulum, Xel-Há, and Xcaret. And that is just a few! This is a large area, great for mixing relaxing on the beach with some water sports thrown in and day trips in an array of beautiful towns and ancient ruins.

Being geared to tourism, Quintana Roo is easy to explore and most people coming here take advantage of the many options to get around the area. Most choose to arrive via Cancún International Airport and many take a rental car option for maximum freedom to explore. Many choose Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals for the same reasons.

Beaches, Water Sports and Theme Parks Galore

Cancún, known as the Mexican Caribbean, sits on the Yucatán Channel and is a world-famous tourist location. Visitors here will enjoy some of the best beaches in the world with an exceptional amount of water sports, such as diving, swimming with dolphins and deep sea fishing. A short ferry ride takes visitors to the beautiful Isla Mujeres and one of the many attractions here is the incredible seafood! The island is a favorite for those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving on the many coral reefs. Another major attraction here is the facility for the rescue and breeding of sea turtles. Cancún has great shopping and a variety of theme parks, such as Xplor, Xcaret Eco Park and Xel-Ha.

For those who find the lure of exploration, the Riviera Maya will be a great experience. People come here for the archaeological sites, such as Coba and Tulum.

The town of Bacalar sits on a lagoon of the same name. This beautiful town dates from the 16th century and has a fascinating history of piracy. The 17th-century Fortress de San Felipe Bacalar is now a wonderful tourist attraction.

Those seeking quieter Quintana Roo Mexico resorts have many options to choose from. Puerto Morelos, with its mangrove swamp, or Akumal, meaning "place of the turtles" would make great options. There are many smaller resorts that are less crowded but with equally wonderful beaches and shopping. They are also within close proximity to larger towns for more lively activities.

Archaeological Sites to See

No visit to Quintana Roo Mexico condos is complete without exploring some of the incredible ancient sites in this region. Visitors will enjoy heading into the jungle to visit these sites. Bonampak is famous for its graphic murals of human sacrifice! Kohunlich, Dzibanche and Oxtankah are famous for the lush jungle, exotic birds and wildlife. Bring your bathing suit to Tulum, the "Walled City" where the beach is next to the site. Visitors can view the Fresco remnants before heading for a swim. Accessible by river via long boats is Yaxchilan. Deep in the Chiapas jungle, this site includes several Mayan ruins and is well worth a visit.

Make Your Vacation Perfect with the Perfect Accommodation

Visitors to Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals will find a huge variety of accommodation options available. Whether it is a spacious home in the heart of the city or a condo close to a quiet beach, you will find the perfect option. Rather than being bound to a room, these homes offer the space to relax and enjoy a welcoming environment. Homes are equipped with everything required to make a perfect vacation even better.
