  • One of the best vacation houses that we stay at!

"This house is wonderfully designed and very comfortable. It is located at one of the better beaches and conveniently close to the crossroad to the "fast road" to and from town. It runs off the grid but is state of the art so one would hardly notice. Nice beds are hard to find in Mexico and here is where you will find one. Another rarity down here are the good quality pots and pans that accompany this well equipped kitchen. All of the rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. The caretaker is almost invisible unless you need him! The view from the master bedroom and just about every other room is stunning! We particularly enjoyed the palapa out front. As far as pros and cons go, the only negative we had was that there was only one hammock downstairs. I am here to tell you that the deck off of the master bedroom is begging to have 2 hammocks!...pretty minor,eh? If staying in a luxurious house on a secluded beach is your idea of a great time then this is the spot for you!"

  • Nice condo, beautiful view, reasonably priced

"My husband, 4 year-old son and I really enjoyed this condo. It's a good size and there's an air conditioning unit in each bedroom (although the control for the one in the master bedroom needs to be replaced as the display doesn't work) as well as the living room, which is a nice feature. The view from the living room and balcony is gorgeous. The bedrooms are located near the front door of the condo so neither has a view of the ocean but I think that might be a good thing since the ferry to Cozumel starts blaring it's horn around 6am. The grounds are well kept, the beach is beautiful and the sand is unbelievably soft, the pool is nice and the swim up bar serves good food at reasonable prices. The bartender, security guard and other wait staff were very friendly and helpful. There's rarely someone at the front desk so don't rely on an actual person being there to ask questions about where to go, etc. It's about a 10 minute walk along the beach or the road to 5th avenue which was really convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this unit."

  • Perfect Accommodations for a Family Vacation

"We stayed a week - needed 3 bedrooms for 3 couples. This condo fit the bill perfectly. It's away from the busy downtown and cruise ship terminals, quiet without feeling secluded. We rented a car (recommended) and it was an easy 15 minute drive to the two food stores in town. The pools and beach at the condo were perfect. Mark always responded to my emails while down there very quickly. Everything that required instructions labeled correctly and a comprehensive guidebook prepared for all things Cozumel. There are books to read, games to play, movies to watch. Victor was great - gave us good suggestions, answered all our questions, always had a smile on his face and every outing he arranged for us was perfect. I left my coat on the plane when we arrived in Cozumel and thought I would never see it again. Victor knows the head of security at the airport and found my coat!!! Seems Victor knows everyone. We had a meal prepared for us by Esparanza and was amazing. We were hoping our flights would be cancelled so we can stay longer. We always felt safe no matter the hour. We highly recommend staying here!!! We did eat at Paradise Beach which is a 3 minute walk from the condo - would not recommend it, the Money Bar is a fun place to go to watch the sunset.....You can go snorkeling right off the dock shown in the pictures here....and see some neat fish. Enjoy your stay - it will be hard not to!!!"

  • A great peace of mind rental experience!!!

"Am on day 3 of our stay and can't say enough good things about our villa and dealings with mike marino. To summarize: very clean unit, well equiped, great location and straight goods from the owner . The layout is great if youre bringing a couple kids (they essentially have their own floor) . Theres a mall and grocery stoor across the street and the unit has every utensil you'll need. The ultimate review is to say you'll rent again-and I will!!"

Quintana Roo Travel Tips

Quintana Roo has Perfect Beaches and Much More

The Mexican state of Quintana Roo is on the eastern part of Yucatán Peninsula. It is home to some of the best vacation areas in the country. Some visitors come seeking activity all day and dancing all night; others come for the tranquility of large beaches and warm seas. While the capital city of Quintana Roo is Chetumal, the state also includes Cancún, the islands of Cozumel, Isla Mujheres, and towns such as Bacalar, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Playa del Carmen. Other places to visit are Puerto Juárez, Akumal, and Puerto Morelos. Remnants of the ancient Mayan civilization abound here, such as at Chaccbhoben, Coba, Kohunlich, Muyil, Tulum, Xel-Há, and Xcaret. And that is just a few! This is a large area, great for mixing relaxing on the beach with some water sports thrown in and day trips in an array of beautiful towns and ancient ruins.

Being geared to tourism, Quintana Roo is easy to explore and most people coming here take advantage of the many options to get around the area. Most choose to arrive via Cancún International Airport and many take a rental car option for maximum freedom to explore. Many choose Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals for the same reasons.

Beaches, Water Sports and Theme Parks Galore

Cancún, known as the Mexican Caribbean, sits on the Yucatán Channel and is a world-famous tourist location. Visitors here will enjoy some of the best beaches in the world with an exceptional amount of water sports, such as diving, swimming with dolphins and deep sea fishing. A short ferry ride takes visitors to the beautiful Isla Mujeres and one of the many attractions here is the incredible seafood! The island is a favorite for those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving on the many coral reefs. Another major attraction here is the facility for the rescue and breeding of sea turtles. Cancún has great shopping and a variety of theme parks, such as Xplor, Xcaret Eco Park and Xel-Ha.

For those who find the lure of exploration, the Riviera Maya will be a great experience. People come here for the archaeological sites, such as Coba and Tulum.

The town of Bacalar sits on a lagoon of the same name. This beautiful town dates from the 16th century and has a fascinating history of piracy. The 17th-century Fortress de San Felipe Bacalar is now a wonderful tourist attraction.

Those seeking quieter Quintana Roo Mexico resorts have many options to choose from. Puerto Morelos, with its mangrove swamp, or Akumal, meaning "place of the turtles" would make great options. There are many smaller resorts that are less crowded but with equally wonderful beaches and shopping. They are also within close proximity to larger towns for more lively activities.

Archaeological Sites to See

No visit to Quintana Roo Mexico condos is complete without exploring some of the incredible ancient sites in this region. Visitors will enjoy heading into the jungle to visit these sites. Bonampak is famous for its graphic murals of human sacrifice! Kohunlich, Dzibanche and Oxtankah are famous for the lush jungle, exotic birds and wildlife. Bring your bathing suit to Tulum, the "Walled City" where the beach is next to the site. Visitors can view the Fresco remnants before heading for a swim. Accessible by river via long boats is Yaxchilan. Deep in the Chiapas jungle, this site includes several Mayan ruins and is well worth a visit.

Make Your Vacation Perfect with the Perfect Accommodation
