  • Amazing !

"This was our first time at a condo and I'll never do those huge all inclusive resorts again . The room was beautiful, view was amazing , and was close to everything while still quiet and peaceful . We loved the bartender at the pool bar and went into town twice a day without walking far . I always felt safe and couldn't have asked for a better experience . We plan on making this a yearly trip ."

  • Great Value in Tulum

"I have to echo many of the same words of the previous reviewer as it appears we arrived right after them. House has a rustic edge which we knew about but that is what no shoes living is all about! We knew about the small fridge as we had stopped in to look at the house on previous trip; it should read 8 cubic feet. It is sufficient for most stuff. The caretakers do a great job and the manager was pleasant to deal with. We were 2 couples for most of our stay; a 3rd couple joined us for the last 5 days using the stand alone 3rd cabana which is beachfront. The only downside to that room is no banos attached, which for our friends, was no issue for a few days (we are all veteran travelers to the area). There can be loud music (for weddings) late into the evening coming from a beach club a few doors away; once in 13 days. All in all it suited us quite well for a No Shoes Vacation."

  • A Week in Paradise!

"It's so depressing to be packing up my belongings and leaving this wonderful spot in paradise tomorrow! What an extraordinary week I've had! The condo has everything you could want...especially a fantastic view!! I can't tell you the countless hours that I spent on the balcony just listening to the ocean and enjoying the peacefulness of the complex. Caesar, the groundskeeper, works diligently to keep the grounds pristine. I want to take him back to the US with me!! I wish my yard was this manicured! Nina, the lady that cleans, is an absolute gem. You never see her without a smile on her face...so precious! Roberto, the property manager, makes sure your every need is attended to quickly. I had a tough time deciding whether to go to the beach or pool each day...both were so inviting! This condo has a king bed (it says queen but I think it may be a king) and a single in the bedroom. There are two futons in the living area, so it would sleep five people. Even though I was here alone for a week of R & R, I could have easily shared the condo with several others. It had plenty of space and included a safe, a water dispenser, coffee pot, blender, small microwave...everything you need! All appliances worked great! There is an a/c in the living area and one in the bedroom. There was always a cool ocean breeze, even in July, and I never even turned on the one in the living area. Open up all the windows and enjoy the gentle breezes of the Caribbean! I'd wake up in the morning, fix my coffee, sit on the balcony and just enjoy the tranquil breaking of dawn. The beach was crowded on Sunday, but other days it was almost like it belonged to me! The town is a short 10 minute walk. The restaurants are all delicious...Tacos.com, Las Palmeras, and Chimichurri were my favorite. Don't hesitate to take a taxi over to the Colonia to Fonda Americana. There are many other great places to eat...as a matter of fact, I haven't found a place I don't like yet!! Go out and support them! I stayed in another condo at Casita Blanca four years ago and had honestly forgotten how much I loved this place. You just can't go wrong booking this complex for your stay in paradise! You'll love it!! I can't wait to return!!"

  • Great time

"We spend 6 days over this beautiful island with my fiance. It was one of our best vacation to date. Great peaceful getaway. We loved the house and the environment. House has beautiful clean garden and direct access to beach. French bakery nearby is great for breakfast, and you have choice of fine dining in "town" center which is like 5 minutes away. You can spend your time walking on the beautiful beach, read books laying on hamack, swim or whatever. The whole island is very "slow" like typical tropical island from your dreams."

Quintana Roo Travel Tips

Quintana Roo has Perfect Beaches and Much More

The Mexican state of Quintana Roo is on the eastern part of Yucatán Peninsula. It is home to some of the best vacation areas in the country. Some visitors come seeking activity all day and dancing all night; others come for the tranquility of large beaches and warm seas. While the capital city of Quintana Roo is Chetumal, the state also includes Cancún, the islands of Cozumel, Isla Mujheres, and towns such as Bacalar, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Playa del Carmen. Other places to visit are Puerto Juárez, Akumal, and Puerto Morelos. Remnants of the ancient Mayan civilization abound here, such as at Chaccbhoben, Coba, Kohunlich, Muyil, Tulum, Xel-Há, and Xcaret. And that is just a few! This is a large area, great for mixing relaxing on the beach with some water sports thrown in and day trips in an array of beautiful towns and ancient ruins.

Being geared to tourism, Quintana Roo is easy to explore and most people coming here take advantage of the many options to get around the area. Most choose to arrive via Cancún International Airport and many take a rental car option for maximum freedom to explore. Many choose Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals for the same reasons.

Beaches, Water Sports and Theme Parks Galore

Cancún, known as the Mexican Caribbean, sits on the Yucatán Channel and is a world-famous tourist location. Visitors here will enjoy some of the best beaches in the world with an exceptional amount of water sports, such as diving, swimming with dolphins and deep sea fishing. A short ferry ride takes visitors to the beautiful Isla Mujeres and one of the many attractions here is the incredible seafood! The island is a favorite for those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving on the many coral reefs. Another major attraction here is the facility for the rescue and breeding of sea turtles. Cancún has great shopping and a variety of theme parks, such as Xplor, Xcaret Eco Park and Xel-Ha.

For those who find the lure of exploration, the Riviera Maya will be a great experience. People come here for the archaeological sites, such as Coba and Tulum.

The town of Bacalar sits on a lagoon of the same name. This beautiful town dates from the 16th century and has a fascinating history of piracy. The 17th-century Fortress de San Felipe Bacalar is now a wonderful tourist attraction.

Those seeking quieter Quintana Roo Mexico resorts have many options to choose from. Puerto Morelos, with its mangrove swamp, or Akumal, meaning "place of the turtles" would make great options. There are many smaller resorts that are less crowded but with equally wonderful beaches and shopping. They are also within close proximity to larger towns for more lively activities.

Archaeological Sites to See

No visit to Quintana Roo Mexico condos is complete without exploring some of the incredible ancient sites in this region. Visitors will enjoy heading into the jungle to visit these sites. Bonampak is famous for its graphic murals of human sacrifice! Kohunlich, Dzibanche and Oxtankah are famous for the lush jungle, exotic birds and wildlife. Bring your bathing suit to Tulum, the "Walled City" where the beach is next to the site. Visitors can view the Fresco remnants before heading for a swim. Accessible by river via long boats is Yaxchilan. Deep in the Chiapas jungle, this site includes several Mayan ruins and is well worth a visit.

Make Your Vacation Perfect with the Perfect Accommodation
