  • Blue Moon, you put a dream in my heart

"Very nice casita, steps from Half Moon Bay. The private courtyard is very nice for meals and hanging out, and you can hear the waves crashing outside in the bay. The bay area is nice, has lounge chairs and plenty of shade under tiki style areas, beach towels are supplied and changed out daily. Be careful entering the bay, there are a lot of rocks/coral as you enter, but the swimming is awesome. The neighbors are very nice and some of them live here nearly year-round. It is very quiet, and even though this is a ground floor unit- you do not hear anyone walking around above. The bed is large and comfy and kitchen is just the right size. There is daily maid service included. Akumal is a nice, laid back little place, definitely a great place to chill. We rented bikes from Juan at the management company, and that is a great way to get around, and you can easily store them in the courtyard as it has a locked door. We would definitely return again!"

  • Snorkeling, reef, private... the best!

"Our second trip to this magical spot. The folks that were leaving as we arrived were so sorry to go, already making their own plans to return. This is that kind of place, you feel it when you get here and it stays with you when you get home. Beautiful, relaxing, completely equipped, clean and ready to make you feel right at home. Of course that assumes that you can feel at home on a pristine and nearly private Caribbean beach with the pelicans winging through the sunrise sky as you sit on the coral sand with your morning coffee. Said it before and saying it again... I will be back!"

  • We will come back!!

"I took my family to Cozumel for Easter vacation this year and stayed in this wonderful condo. It is well maintained, walking distance to downtown and the view is spectacular. Great snorkeling in beautiful caribbean blue waters right in front of the condo. The owners were very attentive and helpful throughout the entire process which made the experience even more pleasurable. Highly recommend it!"

  • Amazing !

"This was our first time at a condo and I'll never do those huge all inclusive resorts again . The room was beautiful, view was amazing , and was close to everything while still quiet and peaceful . We loved the bartender at the pool bar and went into town twice a day without walking far . I always felt safe and couldn't have asked for a better experience . We plan on making this a yearly trip ."

Quintana Roo Travel Tips

Quintana Roo has Perfect Beaches and Much More

The Mexican state of Quintana Roo is on the eastern part of Yucatán Peninsula. It is home to some of the best vacation areas in the country. Some visitors come seeking activity all day and dancing all night; others come for the tranquility of large beaches and warm seas. While the capital city of Quintana Roo is Chetumal, the state also includes Cancún, the islands of Cozumel, Isla Mujheres, and towns such as Bacalar, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Playa del Carmen. Other places to visit are Puerto Juárez, Akumal, and Puerto Morelos. Remnants of the ancient Mayan civilization abound here, such as at Chaccbhoben, Coba, Kohunlich, Muyil, Tulum, Xel-Há, and Xcaret. And that is just a few! This is a large area, great for mixing relaxing on the beach with some water sports thrown in and day trips in an array of beautiful towns and ancient ruins.

Being geared to tourism, Quintana Roo is easy to explore and most people coming here take advantage of the many options to get around the area. Most choose to arrive via Cancún International Airport and many take a rental car option for maximum freedom to explore. Many choose Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals for the same reasons.

Beaches, Water Sports and Theme Parks Galore

Cancún, known as the Mexican Caribbean, sits on the Yucatán Channel and is a world-famous tourist location. Visitors here will enjoy some of the best beaches in the world with an exceptional amount of water sports, such as diving, swimming with dolphins and deep sea fishing. A short ferry ride takes visitors to the beautiful Isla Mujeres and one of the many attractions here is the incredible seafood! The island is a favorite for those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving on the many coral reefs. Another major attraction here is the facility for the rescue and breeding of sea turtles. Cancún has great shopping and a variety of theme parks, such as Xplor, Xcaret Eco Park and Xel-Ha.

For those who find the lure of exploration, the Riviera Maya will be a great experience. People come here for the archaeological sites, such as Coba and Tulum.

The town of Bacalar sits on a lagoon of the same name. This beautiful town dates from the 16th century and has a fascinating history of piracy. The 17th-century Fortress de San Felipe Bacalar is now a wonderful tourist attraction.

Those seeking quieter Quintana Roo Mexico resorts have many options to choose from. Puerto Morelos, with its mangrove swamp, or Akumal, meaning "place of the turtles" would make great options. There are many smaller resorts that are less crowded but with equally wonderful beaches and shopping. They are also within close proximity to larger towns for more lively activities.

Archaeological Sites to See

No visit to Quintana Roo Mexico condos is complete without exploring some of the incredible ancient sites in this region. Visitors will enjoy heading into the jungle to visit these sites. Bonampak is famous for its graphic murals of human sacrifice! Kohunlich, Dzibanche and Oxtankah are famous for the lush jungle, exotic birds and wildlife. Bring your bathing suit to Tulum, the "Walled City" where the beach is next to the site. Visitors can view the Fresco remnants before heading for a swim. Accessible by river via long boats is Yaxchilan. Deep in the Chiapas jungle, this site includes several Mayan ruins and is well worth a visit.

Make Your Vacation Perfect with the Perfect Accommodation

Visitors to Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals will find a huge variety of accommodation options available. Whether it is a spacious home in the heart of the city or a condo close to a quiet beach, you will find the perfect option. Rather than being bound to a room, these homes offer the space to relax and enjoy a welcoming environment. Homes are equipped with everything required to make a perfect vacation even better.
