  • Great place to Stay super close to beach Fantastic Patio Views

"My wife & I had previously checked this unit out on a prior stay in another Casita Blanca condo unit in 2014. We were looking for a larger unit to accommodate 4 adults & 4 teenagers. Casa Wagner fit our needs. 3 large bedrooms each with bathroom & showers. Plus there is a 1/2 bath right off of the kitchen / hall. Unit has a very nice living room area with dining area & super equipped kitchen & laundry room with washer & dryer. These cam in handy for towels/ bathing suites etc. 2 Bedrooms have great king beds w/3rd having a queen bed & bunk bed. Also a loft area above but we did not use it. Teenagers ranged from 14-19. There is a huge private patio that has the best views overlooking the beach/ocean. Sunrises were awesome. There is a nice pool adjacent to this unit & was not a noise issue at all. There is a gas grill however we did not use it as we walked the beach to town every evening to eat at some great places at night. Having walked the entire beach from here to town I do not think you will find a better private unit like Casa Wagner which actually is a separate house located in the Casita Blanca condo complex which is not all that big really. You could not ask for a better unit. Additionally it was very easy to book our reservation with the Wagner's. We sent our deposit & they in turn sent confirmation in timely manner. Roberto & the condo housekeeping staff were great. Very trusting to say the least. All in All a Great Place to Stay"

  • Had a wonderful time

"It was our first time on the Island and what a neat blessing for the two of us. The suite was beautiful in every way. Going to sleep with the sound of the waves at night followed by waking up with the sunrise in the morning was a special experience. My wife and I only wish we could have stayed longer. If we have a chance we will return again!"

  • A Fabulous Vacation

"Five nights in Paradise! What a wonderful vacation, but too short to do and see everything that this quaint area has to offer. The condo is perfectly situated right on the beach. We enjoyed the spectacular views including sunrises and sunsets. The condo is very attractive and has all the comforts of home. The newly redecorated kitchen is beautiful and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. The maids were very attentive, and the office staff could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed snorkeling in the bay right outside the front door and even saw turtles swimming with us. There is so much to see and do there; we wish we had planned for a much longer stay!"

  • Nice quiet location on the north end

"My wife and I have been to Cozumel many times staying at all inclusives, hotels and condos. We know the island and north end pretty wel. This property is all the way north at the end of the tourist zone. It is very comfortable, clean and in excellent condition. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. The two bedrooms are spacious. Living and dining areas are roomy. The kitchen and bath are a little small but workable. The condo is on the second level with a small outdoor balcony and direct access by stairs. There is a locking gate for security to the courtyard. We didn't use the pool in the coutyard but we did go up to the top common area to watch the sunsets, relax and enjoy the view. It was very nice spot with great panaromic views. Our vacations there are for the scuba diving so we are generally gone early and back in the mid afternoon. When we were there the grounds were fairly quiet and neighbors were friendly. We rented a car, which I highly recommend, and there was parking on one side with easy access. The beach has fairly easy access through another locked gate. When we visited the island was getting an unusual amount of seaweed blowing in. The beach was covered with it so we didn't spend a lot of time there. The island has excellent beaches with miles of sand on the unpopulated east side. We went there to enjoy the beach and quiet the east side is famous for. This is a super clean and well maintained property. If you want a quiet relaxing spot it's a great choice and excellent value over a hotel for vacation!"

Quintana Roo Travel Tips

Quintana Roo has Perfect Beaches and Much More

The Mexican state of Quintana Roo is on the eastern part of Yucatán Peninsula. It is home to some of the best vacation areas in the country. Some visitors come seeking activity all day and dancing all night; others come for the tranquility of large beaches and warm seas. While the capital city of Quintana Roo is Chetumal, the state also includes Cancún, the islands of Cozumel, Isla Mujheres, and towns such as Bacalar, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Playa del Carmen. Other places to visit are Puerto Juárez, Akumal, and Puerto Morelos. Remnants of the ancient Mayan civilization abound here, such as at Chaccbhoben, Coba, Kohunlich, Muyil, Tulum, Xel-Há, and Xcaret. And that is just a few! This is a large area, great for mixing relaxing on the beach with some water sports thrown in and day trips in an array of beautiful towns and ancient ruins.

Being geared to tourism, Quintana Roo is easy to explore and most people coming here take advantage of the many options to get around the area. Most choose to arrive via Cancún International Airport and many take a rental car option for maximum freedom to explore. Many choose Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals for the same reasons.

Beaches, Water Sports and Theme Parks Galore

Cancún, known as the Mexican Caribbean, sits on the Yucatán Channel and is a world-famous tourist location. Visitors here will enjoy some of the best beaches in the world with an exceptional amount of water sports, such as diving, swimming with dolphins and deep sea fishing. A short ferry ride takes visitors to the beautiful Isla Mujeres and one of the many attractions here is the incredible seafood! The island is a favorite for those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving on the many coral reefs. Another major attraction here is the facility for the rescue and breeding of sea turtles. Cancún has great shopping and a variety of theme parks, such as Xplor, Xcaret Eco Park and Xel-Ha.

For those who find the lure of exploration, the Riviera Maya will be a great experience. People come here for the archaeological sites, such as Coba and Tulum.

The town of Bacalar sits on a lagoon of the same name. This beautiful town dates from the 16th century and has a fascinating history of piracy. The 17th-century Fortress de San Felipe Bacalar is now a wonderful tourist attraction.

Those seeking quieter Quintana Roo Mexico resorts have many options to choose from. Puerto Morelos, with its mangrove swamp, or Akumal, meaning "place of the turtles" would make great options. There are many smaller resorts that are less crowded but with equally wonderful beaches and shopping. They are also within close proximity to larger towns for more lively activities.

Archaeological Sites to See

No visit to Quintana Roo Mexico condos is complete without exploring some of the incredible ancient sites in this region. Visitors will enjoy heading into the jungle to visit these sites. Bonampak is famous for its graphic murals of human sacrifice! Kohunlich, Dzibanche and Oxtankah are famous for the lush jungle, exotic birds and wildlife. Bring your bathing suit to Tulum, the "Walled City" where the beach is next to the site. Visitors can view the Fresco remnants before heading for a swim. Accessible by river via long boats is Yaxchilan. Deep in the Chiapas jungle, this site includes several Mayan ruins and is well worth a visit.

Make Your Vacation Perfect with the Perfect Accommodation

Visitors to Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals will find a huge variety of accommodation options available. Whether it is a spacious home in the heart of the city or a condo close to a quiet beach, you will find the perfect option. Rather than being bound to a room, these homes offer the space to relax and enjoy a welcoming environment. Homes are equipped with everything required to make a perfect vacation even better.
