  • Fabulous condo

"This is a beautiful condo. Marble floors, lovely bathrooms with spacious walk in showers and a beautiful kitchen. The water views are amazing from two of the three balconies and the third balcony overlooks the charming little town. We went to a near by cooking school for the day which was great fun. There is also easy access th snorkeling, fishing or just lounging by the the pristine pool or on the sugar-sand beach. The condo was immaculate. We would do this again in a heartbeat and probably will."

  • Feeling like the rich &famous

"Just returned last week after a week with family of 13 from 1-64. The best vacation ever. The house was immaculate. Everything we needed was there. Gaspar was there whenever we needed him. He helped us in every aspect of our trip from golf cart rental, excursions to cooking for us. We never had to leave the island. I would recommend this to all. Truly island paradise."

  • Amazing Property Perfect for a True Getaway

"This place is absolutely amazing. The property is beautiful and tucked away in paradise. If you are looking for a private relaxing getaway, this is the place to be. The rooftop sunsets are fabulous. The caretaker is always on hand and ready to help. He keeps the place spotless. If this is not enough, this place also has the best snorkelling ever. The coral reef just in front of the house is incredibly healthy and boasts amazing fish. I saw manta rays on several occasions while snorkelling. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. • Pat Bullard

"The condo was almost perfect. Excellent views, spotlessly clean, bright vibrant decor, spacious and roomy. The location is easily accessible to downtown and all the island. The whole complex is clean and peaceful and quiet except for the delightful sound of waves rolling in on the beach. We can't wait to come back in a couple of years for another 2 week stay. Also with the temp. at -26 degrees when we left MI and a balmy 82 degrees when we arrived this vacation was almost heaven in paradise."

Quintana Roo Travel Tips

Quintana Roo has Perfect Beaches and Much More

The Mexican state of Quintana Roo is on the eastern part of Yucatán Peninsula. It is home to some of the best vacation areas in the country. Some visitors come seeking activity all day and dancing all night; others come for the tranquility of large beaches and warm seas. While the capital city of Quintana Roo is Chetumal, the state also includes Cancún, the islands of Cozumel, Isla Mujheres, and towns such as Bacalar, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Playa del Carmen. Other places to visit are Puerto Juárez, Akumal, and Puerto Morelos. Remnants of the ancient Mayan civilization abound here, such as at Chaccbhoben, Coba, Kohunlich, Muyil, Tulum, Xel-Há, and Xcaret. And that is just a few! This is a large area, great for mixing relaxing on the beach with some water sports thrown in and day trips in an array of beautiful towns and ancient ruins.

Being geared to tourism, Quintana Roo is easy to explore and most people coming here take advantage of the many options to get around the area. Most choose to arrive via Cancún International Airport and many take a rental car option for maximum freedom to explore. Many choose Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals for the same reasons.

Beaches, Water Sports and Theme Parks Galore

Cancún, known as the Mexican Caribbean, sits on the Yucatán Channel and is a world-famous tourist location. Visitors here will enjoy some of the best beaches in the world with an exceptional amount of water sports, such as diving, swimming with dolphins and deep sea fishing. A short ferry ride takes visitors to the beautiful Isla Mujeres and one of the many attractions here is the incredible seafood! The island is a favorite for those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving on the many coral reefs. Another major attraction here is the facility for the rescue and breeding of sea turtles. Cancún has great shopping and a variety of theme parks, such as Xplor, Xcaret Eco Park and Xel-Ha.

For those who find the lure of exploration, the Riviera Maya will be a great experience. People come here for the archaeological sites, such as Coba and Tulum.

The town of Bacalar sits on a lagoon of the same name. This beautiful town dates from the 16th century and has a fascinating history of piracy. The 17th-century Fortress de San Felipe Bacalar is now a wonderful tourist attraction.

Those seeking quieter Quintana Roo Mexico resorts have many options to choose from. Puerto Morelos, with its mangrove swamp, or Akumal, meaning "place of the turtles" would make great options. There are many smaller resorts that are less crowded but with equally wonderful beaches and shopping. They are also within close proximity to larger towns for more lively activities.

Archaeological Sites to See

No visit to Quintana Roo Mexico condos is complete without exploring some of the incredible ancient sites in this region. Visitors will enjoy heading into the jungle to visit these sites. Bonampak is famous for its graphic murals of human sacrifice! Kohunlich, Dzibanche and Oxtankah are famous for the lush jungle, exotic birds and wildlife. Bring your bathing suit to Tulum, the "Walled City" where the beach is next to the site. Visitors can view the Fresco remnants before heading for a swim. Accessible by river via long boats is Yaxchilan. Deep in the Chiapas jungle, this site includes several Mayan ruins and is well worth a visit.

Make Your Vacation Perfect with the Perfect Accommodation
